[Idea]Port AvatarROM based on CM10.1 - Sony Xperia P, U, Sola, Go

Hello, I create this topic to comment about this rom, the cm10.1 rom: AvatarRom.
I was discussing with a friend of the community LG optimus me (my old phone) and told me he had port the avatar rom to LG. As I had no idea about that rom then search and found this:
http://avatarrom.com/downloads/
Are the roms zip flasheables without bugs. and it turns out that among the teams that have this rom the Xperia S, a brother of the Xperia phone U, which has also led bar.
I was thinking about porting the rom, I was not to carry much, if any developer knows something about porting could try to coordinate and finally get a stable rom JB.
Xperia S boasts CM10 rom avatar (JB 4.1) and cm10.1 (JB 4.2).
Also, in case we cant port this rom , i create a request at the official website of Avatar rom. Need the vote (with a maximum of 3 votes) and comment . need to do to get attention request. If you have more than one email can vote more than one time. It takes 2 minutes.

Sorry for my bad english.

What the hell? Wrong section and you probably don't know, that Xperia U has Novathor chipset without sources....we would have to have a Jelly Bean base in order to port it. Soon, Xperia P, Go will get Jelly Bean update from Sony and the FXP is gonna release CM10 in few weeks.

BOOTED!-[COLLABORATIVE DEV PROJECT] Port Jelly Bean to Xperia U from Galaxy SIII Mini

THREAD CLOSED AND MOVED TO http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2092493
Just like the Xpera P & Sola I've also considered to make a Thread....for the Port Jelly Bean to Xperia U from Galaxy SIII Mini :good:
It's know that our Xperia U is a ST-Ericcson device (with Novathor u8500 SoC chipset) and right now, i'm pretty sure that Sony will provide Jelly Bean for our device next year. But, we also know that there out is a device with our same chipset and Jelly Bean at launch. Yes, i'm talking about Samsung Galaxy SIII Mini. I have been talking with some users on their forum and i think some information can help us to port jelly bean to our Xperia U.
So, here are some files which can help us to make a working Jelly Bean Rom on our device:
1. I want to thanks nixonik member to provide a full system dump of SGSIIIMini in here System dump.
https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B-S6Srr0cFRdX0pRVEd6cDVsb00/edit
2. Jelly Bean open source code for this rom, provided by Samsung.
in HERE http://d-h.st/c1n
Now that would be really great if some devs step up to initiate this.
Thanks to espaciosalter20 for the idea

XU haven't got the same chipset as S3 mini
Read the thread in the sola forum and that will answer your concerns about chipset
And im in, i'll help anyway i can
So, could we have it? It would be AWESOME!
I can test the rom or anything you want. If i can do something to help, i'm here, although i'm not a dev

Yea,They do!
Have a look at "Utilizing Devices" Row/Column (Last on from the right) (First Row )
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NovaThor
if you guys need tester with locked bootloader, I'm here
For that we need a kernal for JB.. If kernal is there then JB is possible

Zip or source method ?
Source i believe after reading through sola thread
dint want to spam this thread but couldn't stop my excitement....yayyyyy :good:
I think FXP just have a bootable JB CM10 for XU. They just don't release it because they have to focus on CM9.
I think we should, also, try to make a port of 3.4 kernel basing it on igloo community sources. You can find it on their site! (There are also all the instruction on how to sync repos and how to compile.)

Have any of you seen this video? Android 4.1 Jelly Bean now running on NovaThor U8500 reference chipset
3.4 kernel is also coming to our devices
my source told me that it will come with the jellybean update, and that's why it takes some longer to release.
it will be an easy port to the xperia u and sola then

I don't think it will be working on Xperia! For example SGH S3Mini have bcm4329 ???
from what i know does all novathor u8xxx have the same wifi and bluetooth chip, but i am not 100% sure about that

Munjeni, it's good to see you around. I was hoping that you check binary files attached in open source files that I have linked, there is many files related with privative code libraries from st-ericsson over Novathor u8xxx SoC

[Q] Can the Xperia U get JB ported easier now that the Xperia P has it as well?

A friend of mine has an Xperia U and I've been looking for a Jelly Bean ROM but it appears that no such thing exists yet.
I was wondering, since the Xperia P with the same chipset (Novathor blah blah) has gotten Sony's official Jelly Bean, could it be ported to the Xperia U now?

[Q] Unofficial Stock Android 4.2 for Xperia U?

Hey guys, since I've been curious more about stock ROMs after getting Android 4.1 ported by our world-class developers from Xperia P, so my question is, are we going to get unofficial stock 4.2??

No i think Xperia U & sola users won't get Stock Android v4.2 except Xperia P or Xperia go get the Official 4.2 so that the developers can port it.
but if xperia p gets a stable 4.2 then don't u think the developers will port from it to our xperia u? Afterall they've ported 4.1 from xperia p and its working well. Or maybe is there any hardware issues???

you are saying the Sony Stock 4.2 rom isn't it?
Xperia P won't get the stock v4.2...
may or may not be because Sony declared the release of 4.1 for P,S,Ion etc unexpectedly (atleast it was very much unexpected to me). So we cannot say P won't be getting 4.2, it may get. And even if it doesn't then the developers will try to port 4.2 to Xperia P and they won't try to port it to Xperia U (expectations are less due to its RAM but I'm asking just like that)?
Sony does NOT believe the novathor chipset can take 4.2
Novathor: chipset used in xperia p, u, go, sola

No we'll not be getting stock android 4.2.2 coz sony isn't developing it for any devices like P,GO,S etc. But xpu has an 4.2.2 rom based on cm10.1 developed by team canjica
