[Q] Sandisk ultra class-10 32GB - Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello members,
I'hv bought my new S3 just few days back. :highfive: Now I'm planning to buy a new sandisk ultra class 10 sdcard 32 gb..
I wanna know that does S3 support it?
Does S3 support UHS-1?
I'hv read somewhere that S3 dowsn't detects it!! or it can't be formatted to FAT32..??
Give ur views plz

I bought a 64Gb Sandisk from Amazon (UK) (make sure to buy direct from Amazon, not another seller!)
Default comes formatted as exFAT, so PC didn't recognise until formatted with FAT32.
You can either format thru your phone or on PC as I recall.
Depending on your ROM, I would suggest you will be better off with FAT32. (Windows doesn't recognise exFAT anyway).

i dunno.. but maybe ex-fat would work too
Exfat wont work. Closed soures, so backup, fat32 format and put back.

64gb card ex fat

Anyone else having issues with their 64 GB micro SD card getting damaged everytime they flash a new ROM. Could it be because its ex fat and not fat 32?

Did you flash cm10 or aokp if so that's the problem. Just transfer the files to PC then
Format to fat32 if u plan on using cm10.x again

Listen to deez. If you use AOKP or AOSP, you need to format your sd card to fat32.

To format a card or external drive to Fat32, using Windows, just follow the link and click on the picture to download!! So easy a caveman could do it!

The best I do not know which is, but i'm using a micro sd class 4 32gb & i'm very pleased whit it.

Higher class higher performance, i use class 10 8gb.
Class 4 enough for our mobile because mobile internal memory speed is only 2.3mb/s..

I dont know but higher class is better when transfering from pc to phone and phone to pc via usb cable.

there is difference in read/write speeds when i copy data from pc to sd via usb....but when loading games like nfs most wanted there isn't big diffrence in loading times.

OP did not mention any details regarding his Phone Configuration. This was one of the general answers. In your case,
