Here is the newly updated Xperia Z launcher v.2.0.4 by ra3al for rooted and non - rooted devices... Big thanks to him for his awesome work.. New update is cool .. Works smoothly in my Xperia S...
Note :- It will work only in Android 4.0.4 and up...
Just install as a normal apk...

I guess this one works only on ICS and JB, this is the one I use. ThilinaC
has also made a huge amount of mods for this launcher. Like Xperia Widgets(Clock, Weather). You can check these mods below:

Nice one... And pls note that version 4 is not working in ICS 4.0.4 .. Its getting a bootloop in many devices... And the main different between this and that launcher is u can install that launcher in any android device that running 4.0.3 as a normal apk. Rooted or non rooted. That was not a problem. But this one will not work in any unrooted devices... ..

Hi guys.
I made a Timescape pack for ICS roms.
It contains all social apps from xperia s.
I tried it following roms, my bootloader is locked and I'm not sure for unlocked bootloders. Please try it and give me feedback.
It works on:
- Xperia Ice Cream Pureness rom
- Arconium ICS 4.0 rom
- ICS Stock rom
It doesn't work on:
- AOSP/AOKP/CM based roms
Known Bugs:
-.431 stock timescape widget don't show contact names
Installation
YOU WILL NEED TO BE ROOTED!
1. Copy update zip to SD card.
2. Boot into ClockworkMod Recovery.
3. Flash zip package.
4. Reboot.
*Before do this, make a back-up !!

Tested on KA21 ROM, ArcKnight 3.3, unlocked bootloader.
Good job, OP. Maybe if you can port this app properly, FB notification in Aeon's lockscreen will work (again, maybe. Noob here hehe)

Well - basically this Stock Sony 4.1.B.0.587 ROM posted by Knight47 (so it already contains ROOT and Busybox) with some modifications I did for my own usage.
I like Sony style so I'm trying to keep rom closest to pure Sony - but with most recent apps released across all Sony phones.
I'm sharing this modified rom only because someone may like it, but I'M NOT PLANNING TO SUPPORT IT.
This is my personal mix I spent some time to. There might be update later, but I cannot promise.
Shortlist of changes:
Removed Sony bloatware
Removed most Google and Sony apps which can be downloaded from Market
added new Xperia GX launcher by Pandemic (thanks) - so SMOOTH (original thread)
added Sony Walkman player from Xperia GX
updated a lot (see detailed changelog if you are interested) of apps from Xperia GX including Conversations / Email / Walkman music player / widgets etc.
added some tweaks to build.prop

Instructions:

So if that one is able to be flashed over locked bootloader - this one can be too

This is based on Stock ROM - no system / framework modifications. But I'm using now Power Toggles from Market (you can see it on my screenshot).
Tiny app - not so powerful like quick settings panel - but doing same job. Check it out

Honestly I noticed this small bug today as well.
Had no time to take debug. But I noticed it happen only sometimes and app is uninstalled properly anyway.
But I'll try to fix it later.

Unfortunately I cannot give you perfect numbers now as already installed apps from Market. I think it was about 180Mb free RAM and around 300Mb space - but I'm really not sure about it.
Removing bloatware saved some space, but apps from Xperia GX are bigger than originals on Ray.

I too had this problem. Go to Applications, open Contacts and clear the data cache. That might fix it.
I usually have this problem with custom ICS roms, I think it is caused by some language issues. It was not a permanent solution for the others but now it seems to be OK.
unlocked or for locked bootloader?

Hello my friends I wanna know if someone can share the SemcMusic.apk from latest Xperia P firmware
I don't have the latest firmware released for xperia P, I'm on 0.544 firmware so here goes my first question:
the Walkman app from latest Xperia P firmware It's the same look like one from xperia V? I mean the purple icon one???????
I installed the stock latest Walkman app from Xperia V and the previous one but I realized both that the album artwork looks defently smaller than the one from my stock Xperia P firmware (the Blue icon one) so:
why the album artwork (from purple icon one) is smaller than the blue icon one?????????????
plus the facebook share icon on walkman app never showed up when installed those apps from xperia V: why??????? i have the jb social core posted here and with my stock walkman app works fine
please if this is wrong section don't send me out to the other forum there just nobody answers my questions

I updated my phone to the new 205 and i am totally breathtaked how fast is it. Befored this I used to see and use the Z2 UI on the ExistenZ 3 and the KitKat roms. But I want to use this rom in the future, whats more, lots are chosing rather 205 than any 4.4, even if 4.4 was faster a little. It is because of the xperia things, the media apps and other things, but we miss the Z2 UI. I wastrying to make working one of the PORTS, but I must rewrite or change the framework. I do not know how to do this.
So if someone can make a port of this Z2 UI I'll be very thankful. :good:

Thanks, i tried it, but it didn't worked. i wrote a script to cwm and installed it, but 'systemui.apk had stopped' or sg. like that. My rom is total stock, and rooted with towelroot, so it was installed by sony update service, and odexed. Maybe it is the reason why the systemuis didn't work. Am i right?
Yes, and if you want you can install a deodex stock rom here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2780836 and if don't work with it, you can use xposed to let your xperia like you want.
The z2 ui works on 205 4.3 aslong as you have got the deodexed version made by dipesh, Currently got it on mine
