Hi,
I want to have sense 5 rom on my butterfly but it isn't oficially released yet. Some devs made a sense 5 based rom for htc droid dna. Is if possible to get it from droid dna to my butterfly? Does anyone have any guide to what to do?

Hi! I'am new to this android community and i think it's great! I just rooted my Desire X and i want a good ROM to go over that Sense ****. I have been searching around for ROMs for the DX but i could not find any! I really want Cyanogenmod, but could not find any support for the DX. I don't want to risk my phone, so i want a ROM that is so stable as possible.
Do anybody have anything good to recommend? A link is of course the best.

I'm not a fan of Sense either, but if you want AOSP, for now the best solution is to install Sense Revolution, and then AOSP Invertion mod. I will soon hopefully get ParanoidAndroid 2.99 to boot, so you'll have to wait. Also Yasir is trying to build CM9 from scratch.

Yes. We just need to wait for the Desire X to gain some recognition among the developers. And specification wise the Desire X is eligible for Jellybean update as per HTC's own statement which says devices released in 2012 and having RAM more than 512MB will be in the JB list.
Any idea when htc will release the update or somebody will port cyanogenmod 10? 1st quarter next yr?

like i said above we just need to wait a while before the desire x gains popularity. and htc will most likely release JB during 1st quarter 2013

It seems we are left out. Please refer the following link below (It seems i can't post outbound links. I read about in phonearena.com). I think we shouldn't purchase mid range phones from HTC anymore.

Is there a full sense rom coming ?? Just for ics or jb because i really like full sense way better then aokp aosp or sense lite or ubuntu.. so does anyone knows if there is a full sense rom comin to desire x ? And i really like to see when the base is htc one s or one x.

There's mySENSE by ckpv5, you can find it in the android developement section.
It's still ICS based though, but I think that there will be a new release, JB based, soon.

No JB full sense as of now!
When I had my original evo, there were some roms that had features of another phones is. One room I flashed had landscape rosy. Would it be possible to integrate the hand scroll from the S4 into a Rom for another phone. Our could a HTC sense rom be ported to a non htc phone.

Well the second one of porting a sense rom to a non htc phone is possible because it has been done with the s3 but I am not sure about the other one due to there might be things that are needed specifically for it to work properly.

What phones are compatible for the Jedi mind trick ROM? I flashed one to my Galaxy s3 and it hard bricked and I don't want the same for my HOX+ international. So is the Jedi mind trick ROM compatible with the HTC One X+ international running 4.1.1 with sense 4+?

No rom is compatible with any other device except the device it was developed for. Look in the android dev section. Is you fave rom there? If not maybe ask the rom devs for a HOX+ version.

Unfortunately you'll probably have a lot of trouble finding a ROM like that for the X+. By the time it was released JellyBean was already well established, and people don't see a whole lot of use in porting out of date versions of Android to new devices. Which part of JellyBean makes you prefer ICS?
It was the ability to use the blackout beastmode kernel. But I used it twice and it hard bricked both of my galaxy s3

You wouldn't be able to use that kernel anyway. Every single Android device needs a bespoke kernel developed for that device. I don't know about Samsungs, but you won't brick a HTC flashing the wrong kernel... Still don't do it lol

It's not so surprising as fnoji already ported JB4.2 Sense 5 ROM to HTC J Butterfly, but Stock DNA ROM also worked as well on J Butterfly.
It ran after replacing boot.img to the one built by tako, though some functions were not working. After replacing some so files they worked. I spent many hours to do this…
By knowing which files are needed to replace or modify, Sense-based ROMs for DNA can be ported to J Butterfly, I suppose.

This really isn't the forum for this post it's nice it worked but this is not the j butterfly forum it's the DNA forum for conversion about the droid DNA not our rims working with modifications made on the j butterfly.
