Steps for install it are:
Download rom
Download gapps
Put all on sdcard
Reboot in recovery with vol + - home button and power
Do full wipe and then go on advanced and do wipe dalvik cache
Flash rom
Flash gapps
Reboot!
It's all!
Make sure to note phone compatability for noobs. It would help a lot right now since the 769 is lagging behind in this update

If u forgot to make backup of stock rom then u are in a bad position. U will need to flash v20 firmware on ur device to get jb. So, always backup before trying anything
I have a problem: When I start the phone, holding the first call, and then when I call someone else, he can not hear me. The problem is only with reboot fix

Yes I forgot it.... I flashed a ICS backup downloaded from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2136204, and updated via offline kdz to JB ...

Well I already installed back to 4.1.2 official. He cant fix IT without logcats from other ppl? I think he own this Phone so whats the problem?

I can confirm these bugs on P760. Headphones is essential for me and NFC just drains battery all the time.
How can I do this report on Google+ to him? I have no ****** idea how to make some private message or something like that.
For me, a lot of problems.
- Headphones not detected
- Trebuchet crashing all the time (plus those dock icons look wierd, scaling is bad), but i solved that with Apex
- Minor noise when talking on the phone, not too loud, but still it irritates me.
I don't have NFC, debugging or other named problems. I see 4 files here now http://get.cm/?device=p760 which means the uploader probably fixed some of the bugs. What interest me is - can i fix these problems by updating cm or i must flash a newer rom?

These are not bugs. You have to enable the developer options.
Go on Settings\About Phone and tap seven times on Build Number at the end

Yes SU is in the app drawer, but using root explorer and going into system folder and attempting to R/O does nothing.. it remains on R/W.....
Side note.... this is super fast... and snazzy looking too.. Any thoughts on the FaceUnlock thing? Love to get that going....
ShadowGun will not start a game... loads main menu just fine but beyond that, loading a new game or starting a previouis one bumps it to the home screen and resets the wallpaper

Dead Space: Loads, video stutter on opening video. plays as awesome as ever.

Under the settings there is nice option for Developers and one of the things listed is GPU Rendering...

I can't even figure out how to get it installed to begin with. I'm guessing it's because I don't have the right FW to begin with, but how are other people with the R800x doing it then?
OK, thanks to FPlusPS3, I figured out what I was doing wrong and got it loaded. I also get the com.android.phone thing over and over. I activated by using *22899, and I was able to make a call, but it did this weird echo feedback thing and then was unresponsive to calling after that until I rebooted.
Let's just say, not quite ready to be a daily driver! BUT It's early days! I know this is going to be awesome given time.

To be honest, this is not tablet mode at all, it has nothing to do with silly build.prop hacks. This is the first and only Android rom to feature true Hybrid mode. This rom lets you scale and project every app, every widget, even systemcomponents individually. Remember, android is modular, everything is an app: Lockscreen, navigationbar, dialogs, popups, keyboards, widgets, and your regular apps of course. Apps have the capability to switch into various designs or layouts according to the device they run on. This can result in a complete new experience as many apps will transform to the better.
Now for every element that you like chose a mode (PhoneUI, Phablet/Nexus-7UI, TabletUI) and/or a size. You are 100% independent of the system DPI which runs nicely in whatever value it has been assigned to. You do not need to boot your phone into a certain DPI. Neither will most of the changes you apply require a reboot. You will not suffer from the myriads of troubles which normally haunt you under build.prop tablet mode. Your market, phone, etc. will all work, apps won't shrink on you unless you shrink them yourself. Make sure you follow these instructions exactly
- Flash provided kernel or LuPuS v7 or Turbo Kernel
- Wipe data
- Wipe cache
- Wipe Dalvik cache
- Flash ROM
- To enter Multi-boot Menu press volume-down key when led turns blue and vibrates
If you have an issue and you want to call our attention, here's what you do:
1. Try everything you can, find solutions for yourself. Wipe caches, revert all your settings you have made, go back to your stock ROM /, PA Kernel, factory reset if you have to or reflash the rom. Assume that the issue is on your side and try your best to isolate it.
2. Search this thread and Cyanogenmods (its our base) for possible reoccurences of your issue and hopefully solutions that may have come up.
3. If you think the issue is important enough that we should cease our work and look into it, post your issue, BUT ...
... stay friendly, do not demand anything, do not threaten. Remeber this work was created free of charge.
... explain your issue as precise as you can do not give 1 word descriptions of a problem, name the exact apps and conditions that cause trouble, help us to replicate the issue right away. If we can't there's no way we can fix it and your post will simply clutter the thread
... collect evidence, keep in mind this is a developer thread so even if you are not one, do us the favor and research how to record logcat. logcat is the single most important help you can give us to resolve your issue.

- May I ask how long would you say before next update
- Is a new version being worked on
- When will this are that be fixed
- Are you stuck on something
Any other ways of asking for ETA's they are all AGAINST this threads RULES.
- Always make a cwm backup / TWRP
- Always wipe data when switching ROM, unless you came from previous version of the same ROM ( or OP states otherwise
- TB 5.5.2.1 seems work fine with JB
- If you encounter any bugs after updating ROM without wipe data process, back up your installed apps & user data using TB, go to CWM / TWRP & wipe data, reboot & restore from TB

Im currently using that kernel but wifi is not turning on. And in "About phone" is says Kernel version "unknown".

Wel, im not sure about it then, had an ida if it did not work what to try it and see, if it works let me also no. coz with that kernel it worked for me.

Instructions:
**Make sure that you have an hboot with at least 230mb on the system partition**
Create ext4 partition on sd card for a2sd (512mb - 1.5gb recommended)
Flash rom & gapps
Wipe cache and dalvik cache
Reboot and activate a2sd by running the following commands in terminal emulator:

**If you're finding the rom slow or choppy go to Settings>About phone>Tap on Build number 7 times to enable dev options>Go to Developer options>Enable Force GPU rendering. You may also want to try using the Fullscreen/Pie mode to increase smoothness.**

The only existing issue that I am aware of now is the trackball light. Does anyone have a fix for this?
A couple things I have found, the desktop dock isn't working. (One of these things: )
Also, more of a question for other users than a problem, but should the trackball act like it does on other N1 roms (as a dpad) or act like it does on here as a mouse?

What exactly does the desktop dock do? Is it a wireless charger? I can probably get it to work by playing around with some libs.
Next release will have working trackball alert.

Charges using the pogo pins on bottom and is (essentially) bluetooth headphones. When docked it should enable bluetooth automatically and connect to the dock and ask if I want to output to it.

Did you allow super user access beforehand? Root access should take you to settings

Also remember to enable Force GPU rendering in the developer options. It will make the rom smoother.

My partition is 180. I've slimmed the ROM to 80 BM including Gapps. Its very smooth, really smooth. Thanks dude.

there are some bugs like contacts FC and if you put the sim in sim one slot it also FC so it is not stable to use daily atleast till it doesnt come in BETA :good:

the dialer lag is gone for me atleast
no memory leak
both sims dont work in indian version xt 1022
according to your usage you can try using it see if it is okay because the performance is smooth and is fast
it is worth giving a try cuz the ROM is great and except some bugs it runs fast

Flashed 30th build
1: After Flashing First time it was not booting(Boot Loop) after restart worked
2: Setup Wizard FC
3: Some times Message has stopped working error and one times Music also FC
4: Ram Usage is little bit high than previous version(CM 12)

Okay, I still cant attach logcats but the package installer isnt crashing anymore for me (30th build) but the default messaging app crashes whenever I get a message, solved by installing another messaging app like google's one (If someone can test this and send logcat would be great!)

The only bug I faced with 30-03 build was random contacts FC, but I can open now Non-Email contacts, no lag in dialer, good performance, and good multitasking so, yes its usable for daily driver
SMS Working...?
Am facing problem with sending and receiving SMS any guys facing this issue..???
Not working properly default messaging shows error" Messaging has stopped working" and i can't receive msgs too so i switched default messaging app to hangouts working...
Google messenger can receive msgs but can't send when we type something and sent nothing shows ...
I was wondering, when you expand the volume menu you get your other volume sliders with a ringer icon on the far right, what is this for and what is supposed to happen when you touch it?
Didn't work at all. Stuck in a neverending boot logo.
Tried with and whitout gapps a couple of time, but nothing.

just put your sim into sim two and try and flash it after wiping everything.
it takes 10-15 min for first boot so gotta have patient.

270 is not widespreading like 242 yet. Guess Sony allows Z owners to update first then us. I'll just wait then.
PS: can anybody explain how to mount system as r/w with KingRoot? It seems that i can't do it on first try hence no other app can be replaced even with KingRoot installed. Any ideas?

I apologize. Libs are not fixed only more messed up, so bug with no bass after turning equalizer on is still present.
Can we search for FLAC files in walkman/music now?
Does tapping the alarm icon in the notification panel open the alarm app now?
does the 'close all' button terminate processes, or does it just remove them from the list?
can we change all volumes (notification and media) from the same panel?
can we go to silent without needing to press the button in the notification panel, just by the volume down key?
