i think i need a external sd card for my i777 - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II SGH-I777

any recommendations?
so,
i was recording videos using the phone. its video quality is so damn good.
but it takes so much space, so i had to delete few videos.
i only had 8 i think, each one of them is about 1 gb and such.
so, where can i buy a SD card for my phone?
and after I installed, where all my games from play store would be installed? on the phone or on the sd card?
and, is class 10 the best one?

Yes, class 10 is the best.
You can buy on eBay.
There is a Samsung class 10 pretty good.
You can't install apps on external.
But you can move all your media to there.
Also a few roms support saving directly from camera to external.

SD card

I was planning to get 32gb sd card for my x10i so i was wondering will it work with it. Reviews around the web say that max card cant be bigger than 8 or 16 while some say it can be 32 :s
Anyone knows which one is true or where i can get that information in the phone. I dont want to waste all that money if it wont work.
Thx in advance and sorry for bad english

I am running a 32Gb class 4 SD card I bought off Amazon on mine right now. Great as I have 20Gb on it so need the space. Only thing I find is it adds a little time to your boot up as takes a little longer to loads your apps that are on SD. If you use apps2sd that is.

I need more space for music so I don't think it will change my boot time. Either way I don't mind I'm glad it works
Thx for reply

Sandisk 32gb class 4 working just fine here from amazon. Be careful if you are thinking of picking up a cheap one off ebay. The place is riddled with fakes. 32gb support was added in firmware update so if your at 1.6 you may want to check.

Another Android noob question......

Ok so see if anyone can figure this out:
While listening to music on Poweramp, the songs play ok but every once in a while, they stutter or skip like a broken record played real fast and stuck on one part of the song.
Is this a RAM issue? Something else causing a conflict that is using too much memory?

Ok well.... I have ckosed all apps and used PA at maximum RAM savings, still does it. I even OC'd the processor to 1.83 and it still does it. Anyone else have any bright ideas? I also uninstalled and reinstalled the app, cleared memory and still does it.

I have music stored on internal memory or external SD?
If so, is it a cheap SD card, or at least a class 6?

Stored on external which is 32GB class 2. However, I've read that even class 6 and 10 also exhibit same issues.

I haven't noticed this issue on my Note. I have a 32gb class 4 microSD card

What micro SD should I get?

I take hundreds of photos and videos with my phone. Now that I've got more storage space in my drop box and turned on Camera Upload, I can clear out old media from my micro sd for new ones to take and the old ones would still be saved to my drop box.
What kind of micro sd (size and class#) would be best for this kind of use?

First of all, this threads needs more info abiut what you prefer.
Budget? You prefer speed over memory? Your phone etc.
Anyways.. i would recommend you go for a class 10 sd card .. size of which depends on you. You are a better judge for how much memory you require.

Do you happen to know if class 10 affects wireless upload speeds in any way?

Sandisk 32GB class 10 microSDHC. $23.99 from Amazon. I think the price has gone up slightly to $30, but that's still a great price for a regular price $100 card. They also have 64GB class 10 microSDHC cards as well although I can't recall the price.

It would if your upload speed is much much greater than the transter/write speed of your sd card.

Would you say that the transcend is true to its upload speeds as being a class 10? I read a couple reviews that it didn't seem much faster than like say, a class 6

Gallary Bug

Is anyone else experiencing gallary issues on their S4? Mine freezes, causes screen blinking, and I cannot even access them without a third party viewer. I am using a Samsung 32GB microSd card (class 10) to store my pictures.
I can use the stock Samsung gallery with a 32GB class 10 card no problem. Backup and format the card to see if that could be your issue.
Didn't work. Tried that twice. Going to try a new card... So strange...

What brand is the card?
Samsung Hahah! I ended up buying a new sandisk and no issues.

It's probably the SD card. My Note 2 ate 3 generic cards before I finally paid the extra and got a Sandisk. No issues now.

128 GB Class 10 MicroSDXC less than £100

Wow the price of these things are dropping quick. I'm quite happy with my 64GB at the moment, but if you haven't got an SD Card yet, you can't go far wrong with this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00IIJ6W4S/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pd_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=1ZDU17XPVG7AC&coliid=I3SM1TXE7RYBSL
Yeah well 100quid is still a lot of money for me, instead i bought a nice diesel watch lol 32gb sandisk for 12£ will suffice.

Great but please note that you are not able to put anything on the SD without the root process. You can use only default transfer option in menu (videos, photos and music).

Good question. i do have one, but recording is set to internal memory.
As a 50second 4k video is around 380mb in size, 7.6MB/sec are easily reached by that card.
