i don't know why, but my phone's camera shutter sound has stopped working..
i've search about the issue but found nothing...
even here at xda, there's no forum about the issue...
can anyone please help me?
it bothers me when taking photos and videos...

which rom are you using ?

Some 3rd part apps are able to disable camera click sounds?

go to settings > sound > volume > chek if the sound is set to low.. set everything to high n then try!

Maybe i'll have wait for the fix, or i have to research more about it...
I suspect that some apps are affecting it, bcoz when i factory reset the camera sound is working, and after installing some apps, the problem gets back..

Are you sure you looked over ALL your camera settings, notifications sounds?

That is kinda good news right,listen when installing apps you can install one by one(install one and check camera sound) and check which causes this problem and remove it
@ taaviu: yes! I've checked everything. I used root explorer to find .ogg files.. And it is still in my system.

Not all neo firmwares have the same settings some don't have click some do but you can turn it of in camera it's self on UK firm w

yo bro... i have the same problem as you.. my live with walkman has the same problem even the unlock and lock sounds doesn't work anymore,,
i'm in the latest firmware.. .62..
im gonna do a full reset and format my sd card.. and see if it works

Settings/sound and tick screen lock sounds,this should get back sounds when unlocking screen

i did my factory reset and my sd card formated...
and everything is back to normal.. i think ur ryt, one of the apps may had been the cause of the problem,, may i know what apps are installed in your android phone..

I dont want to reset my phone again, i already did it ten times.. And the problem is getting back after installing some apps from android market.

Backup with titanium and simply restore it after youve installed new rom.
Dont forget to move your titanium backup folder on sd card to somewhere ex, pc before you format your sd card.

update your pc companion bro... i already had 2 updates,, .52 and .62... i just bought my live with walkman last december,,
but their still no root for .62.. so i suggest that just stay with your rom.. and wait for the root kit for .62.
my build no. is 4.0.2.a.0.62 its the latest firmware in xperia i think.. idon't know if the updates are all the same with the other phones..

hello
i was putting ultimate hd rom onto my neo v.
everything was going fine..
until the 2nd last step
where i have to wipe battery stats clean.. by mistake i chose the frst option n wiped smthin else and the phone rebooted.
now wen i tried entering into recovery again i cudnt start it ...n cannot goto recovery mode too by pressing the volume-down button
plz help me
the phone starts but dsnt go beyong sony logo ..
plz help and advise me how to correct this stff..:crying::crying:
You might have formatted system! Hence you're not able to boot into cwm!
Now you can unbrick your phone through flashtool like how you rooted or try Sus by Sony!

Hello...My Xperia P reboots when I finish recording a video...the camera app freezes and it says Camera is not available...and the phone doesnt respond til it reboots or I force reboot it...The recorded video does get saved though.. any help would b appreciated..btw I'm runnin rooted .54 firmware..

Firstly I would suggest u to update ur xp to the latest 6.1.b.1.75 firmware if problem still stays den lets see wat should b done Coz camera bug was taken care of with dat update however ur problem is strange

He musnt install the newest fw. .75 was region update and it's now necessary to update. But try to clear data app. Or install Cyber Shot mod.

I was on .587 kernel and stock ics rom on my xperia neo v
i unlocked the bootloader sony official method
and flashed fusion 4.5 (480p)
after flashing when i rebooted fusion logo flashed for some time and after some time screen went blank i waited for about half an hour and removed the battery and restarted the phone same thing happened again after 1 hour i removed the battery and restarted the phone again same thing

When fusion logo appears keep pressing the volume down key, now ur phone will boot to cwm
Now do a full wipe (otherwise u will face bootloop)
Flash superjb
Flash fusion wifi modules
Reboot

Fusion takes more time than other kernels to go to recovery.. Keep pressing volume button and do what samak told...

When it is freezing on fusion logo then just wait about 7 minutes then it vibrates and directly press vol- had the same problem xdd

ive install cwm on my xperia neo and it said succesfull...
but when i boot into recovery my phone stucks at black screen any idea or solution...

Press volume down few times.
If you keep getting sony logo, flash new firmware via flashtool.
Flash new firmware if u r getting black screen (bootloop)
for CWM installation download "xParts" from google play and install CWM files from there and then tap on "auto magically boot in CWM"
So , u don't need to do pressing any hardware key , it will do automatically CWM boot !
