This rom was built to satisfy the need for a stock-based rom with all its bloatware removed and a much faster UI for daily use. To bring such a rom to all the Xperia 2012 phones, This was the aim of the Xperiance Lite Project. After the extremely succesful launch of v1 of Xperiance Lite for the U, v2 Arrived in the new year with me and Chukudu's hard work. It went on to be the most downloaded rom for the Xperia U with 1861 downloads I took a brief sojourn from Rom Making & Chukudu left for work. Now, after repeated requests for a new version, me & M4ST3R-V have delivered It took alot longer and alot more hardwork than we initially calculated to get it to the stage it is in now but we did it and we are proud to present to you our work :

If running Stock-Based Rom, skip to Next Step. Else, if you are using a Custom CM Kernel, flash CWM for Locked Bootloader by Atis, then install Stock or Stock-based Kernel.
Reboot into CWM
Flash the Zip. Do NOT make any wipes. Dont format system, dont wipe cache, or battery stats or even dalvik-cache
Select the Options you want to have in your installed rom. Be aware that you ought not to Add Governors if you plan to use a Custom Kernel !
Apply the Hotfix Pack attached below
Reboot
Press Thanks Button and Rate The Rom

I just noticed that I included a few unoptimized apks and as a result, there was a huge memory leak causing wastage of RAM Quite unacceptable for a Performance Rom So, here's a fix Also removed my LagFree Script as even though it could reduce loading lag, it filled up RAM too quickly. WIll look into readding it after increasing zram and comparing performance Huge Thanks to Deigonnc for pointing out the high RAM usage to me else I wouldnt have bothered to check Please hit Thanks button to him in 4th page Cheers

Hints for Better Performance
Go to Settings>Development Options and Change Animation and Transition Speed to 0.5x
If you added Governors, Open NoFrills CPU Control and change Governor to Lulzactiveq and Scheduler to SIO. Tick the 'Set On Boot' Option.
Bugs & Fixes
1) Install QuickPanelSettings from systemui/4 in data folder of zip and then untick all the Options if System Preferences crashes in the 3rd tab
2) If you get an FC in Settings, when you try to open CPU Control, it means NoFrills wasnt installed ( My bad ) Just install it from Play Store and it will work fine Or apply my Hotfix #1
3) If you are using Munjeni's kernel and not getting wifi, reinstall the Memtweaks package made by Munjeni and it will start working again
Corrigendum
It was brought to my notice that Ive been wrongly attributing the CWM Touch Recovery used by my roms to Atis112, when the actual Developer was Munjeni. However, due praise is needed for Atis too for having modified Chargemon to get recovery working for Locked Bootloaders. @Munjeni :My sincere appologies to Munjeni for my oversight and hope I didnt offend you by not giving you the praise you rightly deserve Thanks again for bringing us CWM Touch and also for not having my rom taken down for the matter as a few others might have done

However, we'd love to see users of our work and also appreciate the awareness raised for this rom by using some sigs we have Its totally at your convenience and choice Nothing motivates devs more than seeing people happy with their work and we are no different. So seeing people wearing our colours really gives us a boost and inspires us to make newer releases in future [ Plus, Im a greedy bugger who wants to see how many fans our work has ]

hey bro i very glad for this very hard work and very happy for this great V3, just flash this and when i try change the cps settings via Xperiance settings this say me " desafortunely settings has stoped" ... will try change with nofrills CPU .

How we did that?
We have developed a Auto-Magic installation script that will work on any Xperia device by customising system files appropriately during flashing.
Some of the many new and unique features of the upcoming TEAM ROM:
1. Quick sound profiles integrated into the ROM -forget any 3rd party apps, now it's all accessible from the power menu
2. Brightness toggle control with a neat popup you can bring up any time from your statusbar
3. TEAM Tweaks (customise your clock/date/battery/signal text color/size/font, integrated battery bar)
4. Transparency everywhere you look!
5. Elegant TEAM theme
6. New Clock and Calendar from leaked Xperia S GB ROM
7. Tweaks for ambient sensor, minfree and more
8. Enhanced power menu with reboot options: Reboot, Reboot in Recovery, Reboot in Fastboot. If you choose the latter, you will be prompted to insert your USB cable and the procedure will complete only after you have! As convenient as it gets
9. Compatible with any 2.3.4 ROM, any kernel, any current setup. It will not wipe your data or intefere with the way you have been using the phone so far. It will only make it MUCH better

HOW TO INSTALL:
REQUIREMENTS
HAVE AT LEAST 50% BATTERY BEFORE STARTING!
You must also me on a 2.3.4 Stock Firmware
( This is not a Stock based ROM, it is a Sony Stock Firmware )
You will also need Root and CWM
This will work on either Locked or unlocked bootlaoders that meat the above requiments
NO DATA WILL BE WIPED DURING INSTALLATION!
1. Boot into Recovery and make a NANDROID BACKUP ( This is really IMPORTANT, as we can't recover your data! If the fan gets soiled )
2. Flash the "TEAM_ROM_v0001_HDPI.zip" via Recovery.
3. Reboot and let the phone do it's thing as it will be rebuilding caches and settling.
First boot can take up to 10 minutes so be patient!
If you want to use your own custom Clock font:
1. You should place your custom font in folder /system/TEAM/font and it should be a .ttf file named clock_font.ttf.
2. Go to Settings > Tweaks and check the option Custom Font for whatever element you wish (clock, battery, signal, date).
You can now also tweak the text size to your liking!!

Q: Where is AppMan?
A: AppMan will suffer a full rewrite and will be ready for a future update!
Q: Can I use this or that kernel for unlock or locked bootloader?
A: ALL kernels built for stock ROMs WILL WORK on this rom. We have tested all of them so take our word for it. ( yes we are flash junkies )
Q: Can I use this or that theme?
A: Short answer, no. Unless of course it is built of our framework. We have made MASSIVE mods to the framework so most themes will disable most, if not all, options in the Tweaks app.
( unfortunatly themers dont like our framework as it changes too often )
Q: I am getting a FC on this or that, can you help me!
A: NO. We can't help you. Because what you just said means nothing to us.

it doesn't stop there, full bloat / debloat as well as automagical flashing of any addons we add

First of all, AMAZING rom, I've been using it the whole day and not only is it incredibly fast, I haven't had a single reboot or freeze up of any kind.
Now on to the bugs!! (I'm on stock .42 using Night-Elf kernel V9)
1) I got an FC when selecting reboot options, I've attached a logcat that reproduces the error twice, so you might see a lot of repeated info, the procedure to reproduce the FC is the following:

1) Bring up the Power Options Menu
2) Select Reboot
3) Press the Back button
2) In the call screen, the contact info (name & number) is overlapping over the contact picture, I've attached a picture showing the problem
Finally I've got a few questions:
1) Is is possible to enlarge the contact picture a bit??, 'cause it's awfully small
2) Is there a way to change the quick options icon color??, I'd like to be able to choose the color.
3) I have zeppelinrox's V6Supercharger installed, however it seems that the minfree values you tweaked will be overwritten by that script, is it compatible with your ROM??

This Rom must be flashed over a stock 2.3.4 firmware. It will not work over fxp

This rom combines the style of the Xperia UI while removing the bloat that Sony shovels along with it to provide an experience unmatched! Only the best of Xperia features have survived in my purge of Sony's firmware This rom is to be installed on STOCK Sony F/w Only ! Mods will work fine but due to the large no. of tweaks I added, some Performance scripts might clash with them, reducing performance or even causing system instability.. So I suggest asking me first if a script might clash before installing it
Installation Instructions
Stock ICS Rom (With no Rooted edits/Mods) : Flash zip via CWM ( Factory Reset.etc is automatically taken care of ) then Wipe Cache
Stock ICS Rom With Mods or Custom Rom : Flash Stock FTF, and then flash with CWM and wipe Cache
For Devices running a custom Kernel, Please flash CustomKernelSupport.zip via CWM before booting! Note: This zip file only makes sure there is no clashes,etc and doesnt allow running a Custom Kernel On a Bootloader-Locked Device Also, Install the Kernel & the stock FTF first, before you flash the ROM & CustomKernelSupport else you might lose Root access.Im looking into a fix for this now, but till then, I believe you can just reroot it with Bin4ry method ( or alternatively, reinstall again in the order I just gave)

There isnt much to post here since I already included most of them in the rom itself But here goes!
1) Go to Settings>Development Options and Change Animation and Transition Speed to 0.5x
2) Download NoFrills CPU Control and change Governor to Lulzactiveq and Scheduler to SIO. Tick the 'Set On Boot' Option

Sorry about that mate I thought it's alot easier to just flash this after stock than making everyone download the entire Rom (200+ mb each time ) Ill do that in future for people with other roms though Thanks for the advice

Yup That pretty much sums it up Yeah enough to improve battery by noticeable amounts Plus Custom Governors.. I suggest you switch to lulzactiveq with SIO immediately

I think AnDyX's thread explains it far better than I could Just check out the links in his first post about What Governors are and how they affect Performance.etc
Simple explanation though : Governor and Scheduler control the speed and functioning of the Processor and I/O Cycles respectively. To control those is to control the entire processing speed and battery usage in one go You get the picture

Stock doesn't have cwm in it...

its for locked bootloaders, and i have unlocked bootloader...

Mods will work fine but due to the large no. of tweaks I added, some Performance scripts might clash with them, reducing performance or even causing system instability.. So I suggest asking me first if a script might clash before installing it

I have not experienced any problem except for one random reboot today morning, could be unrelated... anyway will report if anything significant comes up...
I did Antutu benchmark with lulzactiveq + sio configuration, got 2821 score.
The ROM is overall smooth and light :highfive:

Ps : Quadrant scores wont work correctly because some edits interfere with Quadrant's tests so the score wont be accurate..

maybe some people will asking this, how do we install ROM using CWM if we must flash the STOCK one first?? because CWM must be gone along with CWM and root...

Well it was Antutu score but I think my phone must have been sleepy (see screenshot) !! Because my scores now are :-
6962 - performance+vr
7128 - ondemandAX+cfq
7053 - lulzactiveq+sio
I would have expected performance governor to be higher, but I have a feeling the governors I set on SetCPU are changing after I exit the app... Also, these scores are on ROM without addons...
Regarding today's usage, I had 1 hour of voice calls, 2 hours of screen time, 1 hour use of wifi (mostly reddit), 15-20 min of data use (mostly email). By the end of the day I had around 50% battery remaining.
But I faced problems in the morning with one random reboot and quite a few freezes when waking phone from deep sleep. I changed the governer+io scheduler from lulzactiveq+sio to ondemandAX+cfq and all problems ceased :good: (see screenshot on battery time, the region before 80% was lost due to reboots) I think the problem is with lulzactiveq governor delaying the scaling up of frequency from deep sleep or not switching on the second cpu on time...
To be fair, The governors were originally built for Xperia U so it might be an issue with that. Other users reported it worked with P so I added them ;P I guess i should have had them benchmarked first lol
Just compared it with stock Antutu scores and a few from Sliding Kernel OC'd and gotta say the score is quite awesome if I say so myself

Ok Thanx! Those are actually the best I have got in any ROM-kernel config And I am loving it!! :laugh:
I will try lulzactiveq later and see if freezing problem is recurring

Yesterday I experienced a lot of Xperia Home app random crashes. Has anyone else got that?
Also, I went to bed with 54% battery remaining, usually there is a drop of 2 or 3 percentages, but when I woke up today the phone was dead!!

Thats a sudden spike in battery and FCs also ? Did you install any new mod or try another governor ? That might be the issue

Actually no, I haven't added anything else, not even a new app! From the time we spoke last till yesterday I did not have any FC or crashes... Since yesterday morning Xperia Home has been acting up and sapping battery... Anyway, I'll try the new launcher tonight and see how it goes

This rom was built to satisfy the need for a stock-based rom with all its bloatware removed and a much faster UI for daily use. To bring such a rom to all the Xperia 2012 phones, This was the aim of the Xperiance Lite Project. After the extremely succesful launch of v1 of Xperiance Lite for the U, the next version had to be something so great it convinced existing users to shift to the new rom And Delivered we have The Number of Changes in the ROM combined with the fact that the original Dev has turned to 3 jusitifed getting a new thread.
And since many people asked for it, this rom is now a complete package which can be installed over any other ROM (Stock or Custom based on stock.) If you run an AOKP or CM9 rom, please wait as I am preparing a file to set up the Sony Services and without it, you might get random errors. So for the best performance i recommend everyone to flash it on a fresh latest firmware.

Bugfixes
In case you cant open the 3rd setting of Toggles, copy QuickPanelSettings.apk from data/custom/systemui/3 to system/app and set permissions 644.
Then reboot and unselect all the toggles from QuickPanelSettings. Afterwards, Remove with Root Explorer
Installing S3 Rosemary font sometimes causes bootloop. Not sure why.. Im looking into it.
In case your LED lights don't work, try installing without the Governors
If you find any bug, please reply here or PM us with your f/w, which mods you used.etc

And that kinda error isnt likely to happen I tried out all the settings myself ( Slept at in the 5 in the morning after tests started at 2 lol ) and It worked fine for me I think you had an issue somewhere along the way
AROMA isnt fully working with our device. Latest version wont work at all. This one, I got working but the touchscreen hangs sometimes if you use multiple fingers at same time.. So I think aroma might have messed up somewhere But I only an error 1 of 30+ tries so I didnt think its a major issue

U can flash it over Spawk ROM .. :good: Incase u need a clean fresh device then flash it with c.1.0 firmware and then flash any custom Rooted kernel image with cwm in fastboot mode.. And install the zip..

Yup You can flash it But will have to reinstall the addon packs (music player , cybershot etc )
Requesting you to share the following MODS so that users can download and apply it on their own phones (I'm using Xperia Sola btw).
1. Charging Animation V2 (.png files)
2. Lockscreen ICS (UpNxtLockscreen.apk)
3. Incoming Call Mod (the sliding animation has been replaced from stock, it's fresh and new)

I have tried many ROMS, and by many i mean literally every ROM on XDA on my XPERIA U but i am sticking with your V1.0 for some time now... Extremely fast and stable... V2.0 is on download but i am pretty sure that its going to be even better... Thanks gor all the hard work bro...
About ROM
After Successfully developing & porting so many ROMS many respective members of this forum always requested to make a lite version of a ROM. But I always overlooked your request not to avoid your request guys, it is because I have to give you this surprise as a gift. And hence, Fluorescent Feather ICS ROM is Born. This ROM is completely based on stock ICS for our devices so no NXT/JB Libs or frameworks will be found here. It is highly themed to give the best look & some features of Xperia 2012 & 2013 were added later. Thus, makes this ROM a complete ROM with the stability & performance of original Stock ROM.

**Note- You may find that this ROM lacks in feature in terms of Apps, I didn't include many features because the main purpose of this ROM is keeping it lite but in a way so that it can be used as a daily driver. So please think before you suggest me something to be added whether it will make the ROM heavier or you can simply add it later from various threads**

Instrcutions | Download Link
Intructions to Install
You have to be in the same stock 4.1.B.0.587 before installing this ROM
If you are not in the same base then flash stock ftf of 4.1.B.0.587,can be found here
Copy Fluorescent Feather.zip to your SD card
Reboot into CWM (locked bootloader make sure you have rooted on 4.1.B.0.587 with CWM installed)
Wipe Data/Factory Reset
Wipe Cache Partition
Wipe Dalvik Cache
Go to Mounts & Storage
Format Data
Format Cache
Format System
Install zip from sd card
Choose your Bootloader, device & other options in Aroma
Reboot your device from CWM when Installation Finishes
1st boot needs atleast 2 mins
When ROM boots up Finish setup wizard & give your phone full charge
Don't use your phone for 30 mins & the reboot device & enjoy
* In setup wizard & in keyboard setup the radio buttons are over texts that is just a Small Glitch

Notes to keep in Mind
If you find camera is inverted then flash fix from Addon section
SystemUI has 15 toggles it may not show all the toggles after the 1st boot. Go to quick panel Settings & tick/untick the toggles you want them to be shown
If download music info doesn't get downloaded altogether, there's might be a corrupt music info in your list. So, download one by one.
Reboot your device once in a day to keep the performance better.
Before reporting about any bug or problem make sure you have followed proper steps.

finally a super stock ICS rom....this may just be the one I've been waiting for!(im a stock rom lover!)
This rom is fantastic! Couple of days ago i said i'm sticking with Revolution 8 cause is very good and stable rom, and very good looking, but this looks almost as good, and performances are way better! So, now i must say it again - i'm sticking with this rom . It is really lite and fast and all the features i want is there, so nothing important is missing. I just download LED control app from Google Play and that's it
I highly recommend to everyone this rom! Try it, you will be pleasantly surprised! It feels very lite!

I have a problem when i try to flash serajr's v10.1 systemui. After restart, there is no wallpaper and notification bar is missing. I tried also to manually replace systemui.apk with proper permissions, but i get same error...
Can u provide a fix for this, please? Other than that, it's a great rom. :good:

One more thing, gtalk FCs all the time...
Yes, you're right. I don't use this app, but tried it now and i get constant FC. I update it to Hangouts, but then app needs google services which can't be instaled because of some compatibility issues.
Since this is first version of this rom, it's normal to have a few problems. Good thing is that Saqib will fix that, i'm sure
