Chromium or chrome.

Would it be possible to get chrome OS to work on or touchpad just like on the nexus 7?, I think it would be super cool if it were possible.

Very true. I'll want to try this when I get myself a nexus 7. Apparently it has been ported to that device.

Isn't it basicly a Linux distro?
Sent from my HTC One X using xda app-developers app
Yes. except it's minimalistic and super quick.
All it really is, is the chrome browser. But it's the only Linux distro that can play Netflix, except for Android that is.

That would be awesome, and I think with the new kernel work Linux OS's should be a lot better with stability.

No clue where to start, I've never tried chroot on any of my devices. But I guess I could take a read tonight after work.

Possible, but I don't see the point since Android already has Chrome and many more apps than ChromeOS which is made for webapps only.

Im wondering what everyone's using kernel wise, for there 4.2.2 ROMs I've tried MAC kernel but was wondering if there's more and where to find them. Should be a sticky for this?

If I was to start the porting process to get it to our device, would anybody care to help and/or test the device?

While I have your attention. Why is the default browser so slow!?
Sent from my HTC One using xda app-developers app
The hell? You make an xda account and do not know the basics? How is the browser slow? It is faster than others.
Sent from my HTC One using xda app-developers app
I traded my s4 for the one. The default browser is slow as **** or I got a defective phone.
