I have XU 4.0.4 ICS 6.1.1.c.1.0 and i need best launcher . What do you think ? Nova or Apex ? Maybe other ??

Stock is my fav
U may try trebuchet bt it needs to b installed as a system app to include widgets
Next launcher is buttery smooth bt transitions take to long...
Apex n nova r identical
Apex supports tablet ui and useful if u r using xposed framework
Best Laucher [ Xperia U ]
Hmm.. I will try trebuchet but is there any guide how to install it as a system app to include widgets ?

you need to be rooted to do so.....

Copy the trebuchet apk to /system/app
Fix permissions as rw-r-r
Restart
Nova launcher was pretty snappy for me

actually for me: Zeam laucher, Xperia active Stock mod , Nemus laucher and LewaOS Laucher
Which rom are you using?When I was on GingerDx and GingerJHv5 Launcher Pro Plus was the best for me (free version is pretty good too, you don't need to buy it ) and now on ICS I use Apex Launcher, it's very fast, but it works only on ICS.
The worst for me on GB were ADW Launcher and on ICS Trebuchet Launcher.

if u re talking to me. now im using xperia active walkman mod with xperia active laucher stock mod and i kidna modified it too so it has better look for me now., before i was using lewaos v4 on stock kernel and this laucher is great for me LPP when i had any rom with it. it always FC's on start for me. It;s the worst laucher ever imo. same GO ex and ADW.

i've did and u know what? fc on start . so no it's not. i had it with old Fde
I'm using sslauncher. It's free, fast, versatile. You can go as far as your imagination can with customization. And it's fast (did i say that?) and frequently updated (once every 2weeks i think). Try it. I can't go back to other launchers since i found this one...it's just too...perfect.

Trebuchet is the stock launcher of ICS so this is the right mod for it

but i did use it flashing with CWM but it doesnt work, it has to be a simple wallpaper and it doesnt work with animated ones? i still see tha black background. i have to install something first? busybox or something like that? thanks in advance,

by the way when u open the app drawer , the wallpaper with app shortcuts/appdrawer button/ clock will still be shown? im looking something like the launcher in jb on samsung s3/mini or xperia launcher
Which ROM did you try because some ROMs don't have trebuchet. Also you can look in the x10 mini forums for an ICS xperia launcher for ICS. Also look in the galaxy mini forums for an ICS touchwiz launcher as both of these phones are ldpi.

Hi guys was wonderig if can change my grid to 5x6 without flashing a rom which has 5x6 by default.atm I am using the revolution hd rom and I rly enjoy it so I dont wanna change it.thanks for your help I advance!

Yeah you can use any launcher replacement such as -
Nova, Apex, Go Launcher EX.
There are many to choose from.

touchwizz's one
2 solutions :
- a modded touchwizz launcher
- a third party launcher (nova is the best one for me)

you cant change the no. of homescreens on stock launcher...
bt u can do it if u put a third party launcher or a different rom based on touchwiz or xperia based roms..

You can't change but if you want than mod the launcher apk and arrange as many screen you wants but if you want to change arrangement to 6x4 I can help with stock launcher
Try nova launcher its very smooth and also gives a kitkat like feel to our canvas hd..
