Linux on android - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi evr1
Linux over android is the latest hot topic.
Chroot provides a good solution for it but it dosent provide the necesary customization coz it takes a long time and effort to port a linux os to arm.
Another possible solution is the app limbo pc emulator.have tested it today on my tab (1 ghz pro,300 mb ram).with it we can emulate any linux os regardless of the type.
I am currently using dsl linux on it.this app requires no root and can be run easy.it is availaible on google play and also it provides support for keyboard and mice.
Try it out guys....it will get ur heart pumping for more.

I've tried it with the SD-card version of the android, but it doesn’t support loop devices.
May be with the other version or with some fixes in the kernel will work...
Did anyone of u tried it on wave 2..or wave 1?? And did u got it functional??
Will it be laggy? Since ubuntu is for desktop?

If you figure out how to dev. on your phone please let me know lol Not trying to be a smart a$$. You can use a root file manager and do a lot of things to change the rom you are on.
Technically its possible if you chroot linux on your phone, but most dev programs will most likely have problems, and phones typically dont have much memory. Might work to an extent on a tablet, but until you get a windows 8 tablet, and get dev programs and virtual machines to worm, youre stuck on a pc for now.

Spoofing App Lollipop. Emulator KitKat?

Hi guys,
I tested my security with droidsheep or faceniff but these apps don't work with Lollipop.
I tried zAnti but when I try to use mitm attack, it doesn't capture sessions. And when I scan network it finds hosts without description(it doesn't say me if host is android, smartphone, PC, windows.... Nothing of this)
Why?
I tried network spoofer but when I try to use mitm attack it gives me this output :
{

"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

}
I thought I have to emulate kitkat on my HTC with Lollipop(rooted with rom)..is this the only method? If yes, how can I emulate kitkat?
Thanks guys
Use cSploit.
Has all thoses features and many more , and it has a built-in Metasploit
