Anybody knows how to do it on G3? I am doing a Stock Froyo theme but I need black time/day in status bar. Thanks in advance.
Black color fonts wont be visible on a black background if ur are changing the color of statusbar also then u need to edit services.jar in system/framework....
Google for colorchangev3.jar or search for the same in xda there u will find how to do it...

Just installed CWM7 on my ST15i and I'm loving it, the only disappointment is the lack of customization when it comes to the status bar.
Does anybody know a way in which to manually change the colour of the status bar (pref. to white) and swap the notification pngs to contrast?
I know there's an app (statusbar+) which can "overlay" your old status bar with a new one, but it's sluggish and unresponsive at the best of times.

Not sure if it works only in app but with the 3minit mod you can change the colour and transparency of the notification bar.

I wasn't referring to you, since I'm not familiar with the mod you are talking about. I just thought that OP might have had the status bar in mind. The status bar is the bar on top of the screen with the clock, battery and signal levels and notification icons. The notification bar is the expanded status bar where the notifications are.
OK, my apologies. Thought you were correcting my Noobness! I thought the two were connected but presumed i was missing something or misusing the correct names for them!
With the 3Minit Framework Mod you can change both status bar and notifications bar colour and transparency.

Hello guys, i want to ask about battery color for tinted status bar.
Im using HTC sensation XE with CM11 android 4.4.4
I cant set the battery color to match other icon color on status bar.
Even changing the color manually still not change the white.
Is there any chance to make my battery color changes depend on my setting on TSB(tinted status bar)
I wish there is a way to fix it. ThankyouXDA
