I would like add a special thanks to the following teams as I have used some of their work as an outline:
AOKP
Carbon
Cyanogenmod

Can it be configured to look more or less like the Nexus 10 (stock UI in landscape mode with the nice Google search bar on top)?

Nice and fast with a lot of customizable options.
Keep up the good work!

What if you change the dpi to 160. You will have real tablet ui. Search xda also for multidpi play store and you are ready

Lets check this bad boy out, mainly to see if it works with my theme or if I need to tweak it a little. Nice job buddy! I will report any issues but I'm sure it's rock solid!
Thanks!
DJ

@ng33
Tablet UI provides the tile toggles at the bottom with the navbar. I am not a big fan of that.
And changing the DPI doesn't produce the desired result either.
Thanks though for trying to help.

Running great!!!! Thank you so much for this!

Is it just me, or is the link down?

This is awesome on the T989, and awesome on my N7. Thanks a ton 0xD34D.
it appears to be based off MIUI. they're homepage says the entire framework of ChaOS has been modified around the theme engine, which is MIUI's. what does this offer that MIUI doesn't?
downloaded about a week ago, and was having random system ui fc. I'll try to get a logcat, but the pc is being a real pain atm.
I've been using this rom for a few days and it is smooth and fast. Have not noticed any bugs. Really like it. The Angl theme is gorgeous!

No, it's got expanded desktop and you can install tablet UI using Tabletizer. I did it and it works great!

It's based of CyanogenMod 10.1 not based off MIUI.
It's 4.2.2 while MIUI is 4.1.2.
Thanks for this rom, it is excellent!

It is a very smooth rom.

Nexus 7 Running JellyBam v7
Sorry, but this is just a vanilla cm with a few MiUi themes thrown in. And after running full MiUi for a while, doesn't seem to have a lot of themes available. This ROM is going to get better and I will probably revisit after a bit.
Doesn't allow for a lot of customization.

The point of this is to fuse both MIUI and CM together. The point isn't mainly customization but the CM UI coupled with an MIUI theme engine. Over time it will get better as you said but this ROM is of its own kind.

Normally, the purpose of a hybrid ROM is to give you the best features of each of the ROMs used. This ROM does not do that......yet.

[Xposed] [v1.1] XBatteries - Switch to a different Theme in a Snap

Hello Friends,
Here is another xposed module I want to share with you. I call it XBatteries because there is more than one theme in it. I am inspired by the battery mods of dr.ketan that I thought I would put most of it in one package and just switch from one theme to another in a snap according to your moods. Aside from the built-in themes, it gives you the ability to choose your custom color (any color you want) from a choice of several popular battery icons. I guess the pictures below would help explain the features of this mod.
10 August 2013: XBatteries version 1.1
Changelog:
- Fixed Icon spacing on statusbar
- Fixed Sensetube theme
- Added option to hide battery icon
- Added option to hide full battery notification alert
- Added option to replace battery text with custom text and change its color

How to install:
1. Requires that you have Xposed Framework installed.
2. Download and Install like any app.
3. Open Xposed installer and enable it. Make sure to disable other battery modules you may be using as that would conflict with this module.
4. Reboot.
5. Open XBatteries app and choose your themes or your colors. No need to reboot device. Just restart systemui when changing from one theme to another or when changing from one color to another or from one icon to another.
6. Enjoy.

Can't get it to work? I'll try again in the morning...after I grab 4hrs of sleep ...tired now...lol.
=====================
Edit: Works for me now ! ! ! . Amazing what a little sleep can do for your thought process... Got up this morning, ran some errands, mowed the grass and then started playing "phone". The spacing between the Signal Strength/Battery/Clock is about twice as wide as just applying the mods as a single apk though. I can get used to it I guess. Also mine works and I have the Xquick Settings Toggle Themer installed...

i got problem with the pre-made "Sensetube" theme.. the battery icon cannot be loaded..
Only Sensetube icon doesn't work, everything else works just fine. Thanks a lot xperiacle
I'm having a slight hiccup with the icons while it's doing the charge animation I did a full reboot to see if that would fix it but it didn't... otherwise great app saves me time from switching icons and not rebooting.
Great module, but i had to go back to an other Xposed battery module because there is a lot of space between your battery icons and other icons in the notification bar, nearly the double. To much! Any way great idea and work.

Done, check first post. The screenshots are what you see immediately after you hit the power button to turn on the screen.

Does it just expand the widgets or will the unlock "button" be kept?
Usually on AOSP-ish ROMs the login "button" gets really small and you will have to long-press it to unlock instead of swiping it,
not working on nexus 4, PA 3.92 ROM
tested on htc one sense rom with aosp lockscreen / disabled htc lockscreen...
widgets are expanded, but lockring doesnt unlock phone, he re-scales the widgets to small view
Im on Vanilla root box. Cyanogenmod. Installed the apk but nothing happens.
If I understand this right the lock icon should be there even if the widget is maximized? also that I can directly drag the lock icon to unlock the phone even if the widget is maximized? I think u should wright a better description because i don't get it
This would be even better if our shortcuts could show up on the bottom.
Working good on AT&T S4 Goldeneye ROM, only thing is the unlock ring animation that shows up for a few seconds after locking partially overlays the unlock ring at the bottom of the screen and it looks kinda funky, other than that works great.
Didn't work for me on stock TW rom with S4. When i hit power button i see lockscreen in edit mode...
Do i have to install other mod for that? My clock (stock) on lockscreen is different, i dont have option by default for that widgets there....
I dont understand anything from first post. Install and use...
I have installed Wanam Xposed, installed this apk, but nothing happened.

Edit: Working great for me. Phone: Samsung Galaxy S4 (SGH M919) Rom: Infamous 3.6
:good::good: Mucho thanks for this one. :good::good:
Failed on Nexus 4 AOSP 4.3
Works as described on Omega v46.1 (4.2.2) on the Galaxy S3.
Not to be nitpicky, but the only issue is that on waking the phone, I see the dashclock expanded view take a second or so to load up. This happens everytime I wake the phone, just like it would when I would expand normally.
Awesome mod! I love how easy the Xposed framework is.

[MODS][KK][TW][4.4.2] SystemUI Mods

Alrighty here we got some simple SystemUI mods to hokd you over until the guys at Nebula get this all pimped out for ya.
POTATO GESTURES MOD
First, what this mod does is allow you to use gestures within your status bar. JUST SWIPE AND DOUBLE TAP ON THE CENTER OF THE STATUSBAR. ONLY FUNCTIONS THAT WORK ARE MUSIC GESTURES. SET DOUBLE TAP TO PLAY/STOP, AND SWIPE ACTIONS TO SWITCH TRACKS IN THE POTATO STATUSBAR GESTURE APP IN YOUR APP DRAWER. DO NOT REPORT SYSTEMUI FORCE CLOSES IF USING ANY OTHER FUNCTIONS. NOTE YOU WILL ALSO NEED TO SET STATUSBAR COLOR TO TRANSPARENT FOR THE GRADIENT APP TO WORK PROPERLY.
WHAT DOES NOT WORK:
CUSTOM STATUSBAR COLOR
SHOW AVAILABLE MEMORY
SLEEP
POTATO STATUSBAR GRADIENT MOD
What this mod does is allow you to select up to 4 colors for your stausbar. Transparencey is supported, and you can choose which direction the gradient goes
POTATO STATUSBAR CLOCK/DATE MOD
This mod allows you to put the clock and date wherever you want in the statusbar. You can choose multiple different formats including text clock. If you know java you can create you own display style! NOTE: IF YOU USE CENTER CLOCK THE TICKER TEXT WILL OVERLAP THE CLOCK. UNFORTUNATELY THERE'S NOTHING I CAN DO ABOUT IT.
CPU SPIED
Yet another great mod from Potato Inc. This mod shows your CPU load as well as governor in your statusbar dropdown. Use the control app to toggle on/off and toggle governor.
MIUI BATTERY BAR
Yep, its an MIUI battery bar. Select different colors for different battery levels or go one solid color. Adjustable width, and animations.
NETWORK SPEED IN STATUSBAR
Sorry this one has no controls. Its purdy though
DIRECTIONSOWNLOAD BOTH FILES. FLASH KITKATMODS.ZIP IN RECOVERY. THEN EXTRACT
KITKATMODSCONTROLS.ZIP AND INSTALL ALL THE APPS (SORRY MY UPDATER SCRIPT DOESN'T SUPPORT INSTALLING APPS INTO DATA/APP)

Can you make a mod to change the uggly 4.4 smart stay icon to the one from 4.3 (like the s4 and note 3 has) and make it visible all the time like in 4.3?
Thanks in advance.

Ditto. .... still rocking the note 2. I'm good for an upgrade but haven't found a phone i like add good as this one yet. The newer note phones aren't an option for me unless i switch carriers because i won't get a phone that i can't flash custom roms and kernels. The Nexus 6 is looking pretty good.
