Bluetooth problems - Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi all,
I'm having major BT issues with my S3 which I hope you can help me to resolve.
I have problems connecting and staying connected using the following devices:
Parrot Asteroid car stereo
Nexus 7 tablet
Intempo BT speaker
The Wife's S2 works perfectly with all of these devices.
The car stereo is the most annoying, as it just seems to disconnect at random, even mid-call. The phone sits in a proper Samsung windscreen mount and is well within BT range.
I just want it to automatically connect to these devices when in range, and share its internet connection with them as well.
Here is the 'about' screen from my phone:

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your reply, but I thought I was on the latest version for my phone? I got it through 3, and as far as Samfirmware.com is concerned 4.1.2 is the latest version. Or are you talking about something else?

Right, made some changes. Is this any better:
Will see how I get on.

We've just tested this headset with San Francisco, the quality with this in-ear earphones are generally better than the original ones (but not as good as the one bundled from Galaxy S), answering button is working properly too.

belek1979, I think it is safer to get RF keyboard than BT as there is connectivity issues some of us encounter.

can you pls advise if with the logitec touch pad also working with xperia S?
thx n brgrds
See this : http://www.motioncomputing.com/choose/spec_wirelesskybd.htm
Keyboard and mouse all in one and BT. But ...where buy it?.
I have a mini keyboard and mouse that worked correctly in my GalaxyS with ICS but in my XperiaS dont work.....always say when connect it : Paired but not connected. What is the problem?. I have .73 but no root.

[Q] unstable wi-fi connection

I'm really hoping this is an issue with my router but .. is anybody else having trouble staying connected to wifi? It connects and shows excellent signal strength, then it will disconnect for about 10 seconds before reconnecting. I haven't been able to test it with any other wifi sources, so I'm wondering if anyone else had a similar experience?
Yes happens to me as well. When it's connected it works well but then it will randomly disconnect then reconnect right after. Kinda annoying.
I read in another thread that this may have something to do with the antenna placement and the way I'm holding the phone
If that's the case then I must say that's pretty disappointing..

If holding the phone in landscape mode to watch youtube is doing it wrong, why have front facing stereo speakers? I really hope this isn't serious and that I either have a defective unit or my router is having issues.

[Q] Cannot get bluetooth audio to work on Note 2

I've used the blue tooth audio function on my car stereo with multiple Android phones but this one just refuses. The phone function works but audio will not. I can click the check box but nothing ever happens. Fyi the stereo is an Eclipse cd 5030. Thanks in advance!

Try unpairing and removing the device from your note 2. Put the device into discovery mode and pair it again with your note 2.
Tried that. The media audio box is still disabled. I'm guessing the blue tooth version on the phone is newer than what the radio is compatible with. Any way to roll back the bluetooth version without root?

No. The only way, that I know of, would be to restore to previous stock ROM.

[Q] Windows 8/Note 2 Bluetooth connection trouble?

Okay so I know with Bluetooth and can be a LARGE variety of issues going on with connection. But I do not believe it is <Connection> problems that I'm talking about/having issues with.
Anyways, I have a Qualcomm Atheros AR3011 Bluetooth 3.0 dongle in the back of my computer.
When I go to pair my phone to the computer, it works perfectly. (See screenshot below...)

So as you can see, it is paired, and in Device Manager it shows, along with the adapter, and my S160 headset (Which is disconnected.)
Now my problem being is when I go to Devices and Printers in Control Panel, I see my phone (SCH-i650) But all I see are these options when right clicked...
Now I know my adapter supports Music Streaming, AND headset support etc. etc. because it worked back in Windows 7... Is there any way of getting this support back??? And/Or does anyone know perhaps as to why I am not getting the options for listening to phones audio etc...?
And would anyone be willing to help me figure this out/trouble shoot it? I have no idea where to start.
I would also like to know if it's due to my phone or not.
This is kind of like the options that I would like to see:
On another note, I just tried using the "Send file/Receive file" options, which work perfectly fine... So where is the listen to audio and make phone call options?
