1. No u dont post update. There will be an official jellybean update. No, there is not any Jellybean custom ROM yet.
2. No, the phone wont be routed.
3. Kernel is the code which links the OS with the hardware.

Hmmm,I should have been more careful next time
I kinda ported jelly bean from the nexus but the only changes i see is the performance, still can't run jb apps
I pushed app,data,bin,etc and then
adb shell rm /partition/*.odex
and then fix permissions in recovery
Hope it helps anyone

s5830i roms work on your model but even with this information I don't find any ICS rom too :crying:

Learning how to port a rom but I don't have enough knowloedge to help you more.
Nevertheless some threads are available on XDA if you are interested.
