not that it is ugly keyboard is that you are not accustomed to using
Keyboard is great, but in my LWW don't working gesture typing, and I don't know why.

This is X8 stock keyboard. I am using Gdx 012. Works fine on GDX and also FroyoBread. You might need to uninstall other keyboard to use this.

is it possible to grab the original keyboard from eclair? i mean through this method:
revert to stock 2.1
use root explorer then copy the keyboard's apk from system/app
paste the apk to sd card
flash gdx.
install the apk from eclair.
i downloaded the keyboard from the link, no option for setting it as keyboard. not working.
That's the best keyboard human beings have ever seen! After long search i'm enjoing it in Gingercrutz. Thanks to Master Frogy! He sure understood that SE appearance is the most elegant and usable interface.

when you are typing (during sms etc.) long press the settings button and choose chinese keyboard.
When I bought my X8 there is 2 keyboard already installed. The stock and Chinese Keyboard. I don't know if we can call it stock because when I factory reset via Settings the Chinese Keyboard disappears.

i have not tried language other than english because i dont understand them.. but it supports all the languages that are supported by ur phone..

i havent tested it on GB i think it wont work on GB.. because it is made for ICS...!!
Support for physical keyboard on XMP SK17
I tested it om above device. It does not support language change via dedicated settings key. In fact, I couldn't even make it type Hebrew language with physical keyboard (only virtual one) although it was defined in its settings.

I voted up for this problem. And addition for mine:
'sym' key (on physical keyboard) working? Is there any icon in status bar indicating what char that we're using (capital/symbol lock)?
This keyboard is really great, although it's swype function needs some improvement!
I want to ask if anybody knows where I can find a holo like skin for this..

Hey Everyone, i recently installed the amazing CM10 JB Alpha from FreeXperia team on my Xperia S for the first time ever using a CyanogenMod rom . I am loving this rom so far its amazingly smooth and fast despite the alpha bugs. However, i was missing the on screen buttons that i had on the ICS rom. I looked everywhere for a framework that includes the soft buttons for CM10 but unfortunately i couldnt find any. I was so desperate for the soft buttons that i couldnt wait untill someone post them so i had to learn how to do it my self, and after a long night of researching and trying and after i ran into some issues that took me the whole night to fix, i finally figure out how to do it so i thought of sharing the framework here with whoever prefer the soft buttons.
Anyways, i attached the file and BTW the good news for people who want to launch Google Now by swiping up from home button like on JB Galaxy Nexus, with this framework, you can. Also i decreased the height of the buttons a little bit i hope you like
you can push it via adb with command: adb push "framework-res.apk" /system/framework/
or you can just copy it to /system/framework/ and change the permissions

oh yea its actually working! but i don't know how? i only edited the framework by setting "config_showNavigationBar" to true in and resized the "navigation_bar_height" a little smaller thats it!!!!

Yes we can have normal gestures and floating getures in one framrwork but i dont know how to compile apks in eiclipse coz it is compiling with normal framework and this will give some errors
EDIT:i will uplpuad it to Git when i will be 100% sure about bugs

this app is working correct, i mean "flying touch" function on JB:highfive:
but 5000 points countdown it too much for my patience :silly::silly::silly:

Have been using it for 2 days and it works fine. Launch fast.
I just hope it changes accent color as you change your theme.
