First question: No, and 2.1 can't play flash anyway, Google only added support for that from 2.2 onwards
Second question: MiniCM7Pro won't hard-brick your phone to the point that you have to JTAG it again, only changing kernels may do that, but not a different ROM.
Third question: Gapps are included in that ROM, so don't worry about it.
It is a bit sluggish though, but that can be fixed. I can't remember what i did to improve performance but I'll have a look into it.

thank you guys, it works like a charm. I couldn't find the way to install flash player yet but it's gonna be ok, thanks again

Download these Modules, put them on your sd-card and flash them with cwm, wipe cache afterwards and reboot.
Let me know if it fails or not.
It should speed up the ROM a bit.

I have "always" been using BPouls flash-pack in all later ROMs I have been using.
It includes a plugin for the browser to fullscreen just about any flash content.
Somehow I can't find it anywhere anymore, so here is links:
FlashPlayer.apk (install like any APK, I donøt know what flash version it is, but it works) http://www.mediafire.com/?x0q2zvq1b4ignij
FlashPlayerAddon.zip (install with CWM) http://www.mediafire.com/?8oi6ih5t5cpaiqi

thank you so much guys, under the system/app folder flash player.apk , I solved the problem. Now I can install feedly and watch flash player movies without any trouble. This rom is really great.

Gynger DX v13

Hi all, yesterday following all the steps to update the rom in my mini X10 Pro v13 Gynger DX, and after the restart came the letters of Sony Ericson, and then I got the dx Gynger Android, but it does not leave , makes loading and until it reaches a point that stands still and I can not turn it off or do anything if you do not remove the battery.
I tried to get into recovery and do not and will not let me do if I could say that to appreciate it.
My steps to install are as follows:
1 .- Root
2.-titanium back up
3 .- install recovery
4 .- I back up the phone
5 .- Install dalvic room before cleaning cache battery and the other
Do not know if this might influence something under the previous step fix got permission, and by mistake instead of giving back I gave the square button and run me.
6 .- installed room
reboot and after that I caught the screen is in the dx gynger v13 Android and will not let me enter Xrecovery.
Well, I do not understand much about it but I use this rom and never had that problem. I will try to help you. If you can not enter to xrec, you would have to use SEUS and install the official rom, and try again from the beginning. I recommend you use cwm to install the rom, not xrec. After installing the rom make a wipe data / factory reset.
Hope this helps! Sorry my English.
1) What is the baseband on your phone
2) Did you install with Xrecovery or CWM?
3) Do you have an x10 mini pro or mini (I.e do you have a slide out keyboard)?
@ Kunaguero
I try to use SEUS and hopefully that works, and for installing it again proves safely from CWM. Do not worry about your English I'm not too loose, use google to translate lol. Thanks
@ Timmyhate:
1 .- 2.1.1.A.0.6 and M76XX-version-53404015 TSNCJOLYM
2 .- XRecovery
3 .- I have a mini pro
Solved
I repaired with Pc Companion and I have my mini pro x10 2.1.1.A.0.6-in version
Thanks for the advice and help, I thought I had it loaded and I already had a brick jejeje
Good for you!

I´ve heard so many good things about GingerDX, right now i´m using MiniCM7 Pro - V9, is a good rom very stable, the only thing about this rom that i don´t like is the camera i´m not able to record high quality.
Here are my questions, What improvement ginger dx can offer me? Does it have a better camera app than MiniCM7 Pro - V9? assuming that i want to give it a try, Can I install this rom using CMW instead xrecovery? and my last question, Do I need to make a backup or is up to me?
Thanks for the guide
Camera is fully working with GingerDX. And i recommend install via CMW, no xrec.

Hey amigo, Do you know if i need to do some adjustments to the rom, after i install the rom and the hotfix?
I'm asking you this because of my experience with minicm7 pro v9 from paul_xx, I had to do some things to fix the rom.
Thanks for the links amigo
you don't have to do anything, the only thing is after you flash the hotfix, you will not be able to control the brightness. There is a solution for it. You can edit the hw_config.sh file in /system/etc replace some of the lines in the beginning with this in the link

Man sorry for that, that occurred because when I did that post (I copied from other post I did) I was using xrec, but CWM is much better. And kunaguero, I want to correct you: until D4 or slade don't do a new kernel that can do that, we can't record in HD. But let's wait to see what happens

[Q] some doubts about cm7.1 by grif_07

I wanted to install cm7.1 by grif_07 but had to clear some doubts before trying it coz my primary reason for trying a custom rom is to enable apps2sd. otherwise I am happy with the samsung stock rom.
1. is every feature in the stock rom working perfecly especially like camera and video recording?
2. is apps2sd included in this rom? (important)
3. will I loose swype keyboard? but I believe I can restore it from my titanium backup. correct me if I am wrong.
and also I wanted to know is there some easy way to enable apps2sd in stock rom? without using a pc coz I dont have my pc working now
1) If you're looking for stock abilities , stick to stock .
2) No , but can be downloaded
Sent from my GT-S5830 using XDA App
Install manager by Alfred Neumayer from market is the perfect solution for app2sd on stock rom.
Swype needs some library files if I'm not wrong.

isnt it just like the link2sd app which I use now but I think that kind of apps dont move all the app data to sd something remains in the phone memory.

so it cant be restired with titanium backup?
You can try that. But if it doesn't work, download the beta. There was a huge update and I don't think you'll like to stick to the old stock version.
For a2sd functions for cm7 try s2e
Just register in the beta.swype.com site and the swype installer will be sent to your email account so you can download it with your phone, just install it and swype will be downloaded.

swype beta is working fine in cm7 grif (dont forget it's still beta and RC )
at last I figured out how to correctly use link2sd huh...
dont think I need a custom rom now. next step would be some kind of ram optimization script then it will b a perfect droid...
What i have currently:
1.) Stock ROM
2.) CF Root
3.) CF Root dtapp2sd.zip
4.) V6 Supercharger (Memory optimiser)
Everything working beautifully.
Anywhere to get RAM cleaner ?
Hi, umm,
I flashed my ace to cm 7.1 this morning. It runs quite smooth. Although there's 1 thing from the stock ROM i seriously miss - RAM cleaner. I just can't live without it and no application can replace it. I managed to overclock it successfully to 902 MHz (stable) . I'd say CM 7 is awesome, it just needs the Clean RAM option. And if it is somewhere out there, can please some1 tell me where can I find it.
EDIT: 902 MHz isnt stable, just rebooted

i setup falsh 10.3 ,good for the rom.
Download the lates version of the flash player (Attached) and put these files in /data/data/com.adobe.flashplayer/lib/. Change permissions of all files to 644, reboot and see that flash works perfectly.
@Ianis G. Vasilev: how to cook your rom used effectively? Because it is used for stock rom.
Sorry, but I don't understand what are you trying to ask me.
I mean your tips for stock rom, but gingercrust cook a rom. If you do so effectively?
It applies to all ROMs, not only stock.
Thank you very much
The problem for me is that when I install these files, they get deleted on reboot. I'm on stock rom with Optimus S.
i have said it before i will say iit once agin, the flash player 10.3 is already included, you dont need to reinstall it.
actually "flash 3.10" is not installed in gingercrust 1.3, but the app file of "flash 3.10" located in system / app, just use explorer to root and install it.
p / s: in system / app is: "Adobe flash for ARMv6 10.3" and FlashLitePlugin_fix, install both.
update 1.4 now
v1.3, v1.4 as the "whatismyflash.com" were reported as: none (or disable).
How to have Flash? Please help people. Thank you very much.

Hi,
I read up on the Omega v5.2 ROM and it looks very good. I just want to know from those who are already using it, how much better performance is it using the recommended version whcih I think is called the "Default" vs the stock firmware? It is that much smoother and better battery performance?

No its far to early to be better by anything but a very small margin .
Battery performance is down to the user not the firmware .

Tried Omega 4.2 and 5.2 briefly. Both times it broke Navigon and the camera hung on me. Don't see any benefit of the Hyperx mod. 5.2 caused my phone to warm up noticably.
So you wouldn't recommend 5.2? Also, if I do decide to flash it, do I need to do a full wipe in CWM before I flash it or can I just flash it from stock in CWM?

A full wipe is the recommend, because then you have a clean installation and you beware of strange failures.
An instruction how you should flash Omega ROM is in the development thread (4th post) --> Installation Guide
I don't know if your phone is rootet yet, if so skip the first step and start with booting in CWM recovery.
Had used Omega on my SGS II, now using Omega on SGS III since 3.0. Works great for me, no errors whatsoever.
Omega 5.2 is flawless ok but hyper x mod is useless. It creates noise in video recording. No need to use 30mbps bit rate but if in future 60fps recording come true it will be a charm!!

Looking at the tutorial video where it shows Omega 3 being installed on a stock rom where it says "no wipe necessary"

[ROM][ICS]MIUIv4 2.7.13 for Locked Bootloader (Not OTA Update)

MIUIv4 for Un/Locked Bootloader
Hi Guys.. This rom was made for both Unlocked and Locked bootloader.
UPDATE!! MIUIv4 2.7.13 - Changelog

4. Tap into "Backup & Restore" choose restore and restore the backed up rom.
5. Wait till it done.

How to get rooted??
Check LBE Guard app and tap manage root permission>enable root permission
Screenshot see attachment.. Special thanks to xparanoidx
Thanks to MIUIandroid(for providing wonderful miui rom) and jjdoctor (for the awesome guides).
***I'm not a developer so don't ask me how to fix bugs***
ADD-ON(S)
Xperia S ICS Keyboard: here -- Just flash this via CWM
(screenshot see attachment below)
I install it and work perfect.. just change for JJ rom and you will find this ROM is so laggy but, so eye candy,,, everything work well!.. SS is the same as MIUI SS in the others thread.. I hope it will contiuned to update with the latest MIUI ROM.
happy flashing
At first, thanks that more and more devs make roms for locked bootloaders
Just few questions:
Where is the original version? Where can I see the screenshots?
Is it rooted?
After restore cwm must install again?
I'm on JJ Hybrid 3.1 with locked bootloader.

I use original file from here and ported myself. For screenshot you could see from iriijo's or other miuiv4 threads, it's basically same.
Yes, it is rooted. Check the LBE Guard app and tap manage root permission and enable root.
I don't know about reinstalling cwm, but i suppose it's same with other locked bootloader rom.
Sorry, i'm at work, i can't test it.
Does anybody have installed it yet?
I can't do it actually, i'm not at home...
OK I've just flashed it this afternoon on top of a nearly stock rooted ICS4.0.4 install. SO FAR, everything I've tested seems to work... the only issues I've had is learning to use MIUI ;-)
I'm keeping my old backup in case I want to go back, but so far looks good - only FC I have had was Google Account Manager when I ignored a permissions request but a quick reboot soon fixed that....
SO far, so good
Well, installed it, works good ! Thanks !
Maybe I should give it a try lol.
I try this.... I just install it..
working perfectly for me so far, even FM radio works
Downloading right now. Honestly, JJ's Hybrid 3.1 is sweet, but let's give a try on this one, 'cause MIUI is great.
Please, can someone post some screenshots?

Maybe you could flash xperia keyboard from jjhybrid thread (addon section). Someone confirm to me it's working.
Edited: someone else confirm to me it's bootlooping.. so make a backup first.
I will be the hero *o* i'm going to test this rom and tomorrow y put my conclusion and if it works for me i'll put screenshot c:
Thanks for your time to do the work n,n we need more rom's for bl locked :fingers-crossed:
Edit: ok i install it & run perfectly now as i promise here are the screenshot's, i notice a difference and it come's from camera i don't know why but... i see camera better than anyone it doesn't show noise and the quality is amazing. anyway my respects to miui creators but i love JJ's hybryd rom.
Wow, I have been testing this ROM for the last 15 hours and no problems at all. It runs smooth, great, and fast. I only got a problem with circle lockscreen, some delaying. But nothing else in the ROM was wrong.
But the most shocking thing is that the consumption of battery while I was sleeping (8 hours of sleep time) was... 0%!!
With stock and other ROMs, battery drained 5 to 10%, but not with MIUI!
If everything goes OK, I think I'll stick with MIUI for a while.
I'll leave some more screenshots:
Got a question: How do I mount as USB storage? I haven't realized on this ROM.
Im gonna try it when im @ home, but I hope its a good rom for me with locked bl
