Going to start a ROM bounty here.
Plain and simple i love the idea of the ROM and would like to see a stable build for us.
Bounty will be played upon dev completing a stable build with no major bugs (ie. cell/data/3g,late working/MMS,GPS etc)
I know this can be done and would love to do it if i had the skill sets or the time.
Here's an idea for anyone interested or would like to know specifically what I'm talking about

They can flame all they want. Doesn't bother me. I'd like to see some new stuff in the community and am willing to fork out some money to see it. There may or may not be others that feel the same way but hey that's their opinion.

Yeah I've tries it as well as a few other ppl here phone FCS along with contact storage.
I manages to get data working with some edits but no one can get cell service ie. Phone calls to work even when using an alternate dialer like exdialer. Simply says dialing and never goes through.
I also tried the porting tool same issues

it can still be sdcard swaped using the method on http://galaxynote2root.com/ it worked for me when the beta port i made worked on 2.1.1 and 2.3 dont know about 2.4 yet still working on getting it to boot should have a working version tonight i hope

Okay so I been testing it for about an hour or two. GPS is fine. Data is fine. Everything is smooth. Volume rocker skip works with the different music apps I use. The samsumg keyboard doesnt have auto correct tho. I dont own anything blue tooth so maybe some other testers can confirm if it works but I dont see why it wouldnt. Also there was no boot anination. It might have been because I chose to install the Saber kernel. I will continue my testing throughout the day. Everything seems perfect so far

Okay so I had the increased system volume installed and the ringtones sounded horrible so I took it off. I tried the stock kernel n still no boot animation. One request would be if you can add the option to remove the AM/PM from the status bar.

Have you gotten mms to work because we havent seemed to work out that problem yet we are trying to though. and the boot animation does not work nomater what kernal you use. the bluetooth does work on all devices

When I tried installing this ROM I encountered an encryption error on first boot and it asked me to do a factory reset. After resetting I still got the error. Did you encounter this at all?

I got this when I tried with the stock kernel. I switched to the perseus kernel and no issues. I can receive mms but can't send them. Shows invalid destination.

Yea that happened to me too. I had installed the volume increase n I disliked it. So I reflashed the ROM without wiping and then I got that encryption error. I don't know why. I flashed again n it flashed just fine

Another thing I've noticed is my signal is stronger. Not sure how that happened but went from low-100db to low -90db

Let me begin with stating my admiration for all devs. I can't do it. I have neither the knowledge nor the patience.
That being said, it seems all the new ROMs have to have three or more ROMs combined. Sometimes bigger is not better.
I would love to see an updated pure AOKP ROM for our device. We haven't had one since DAGr8 left for the Note II. AOKPs Ribbons are kick ass! I like them much better than PIE. You can set the ribbons to stay open and they don't disappear as soon as you lift your finger......and the long swipe to open the app drawer is great.

I like this ROM is super fast and never i got a single problem with that is like pure AOKP with some love
Been on Carbon for close to 24 hours without a single glitch. Not the first random reboot. Data reception has been perfect.
The more I use the ribbons, the better I like them! Has just the right amount of customization without being confusing to this old man.

+1 the ribbons are great I don't really like pie I think these are better less complicated serves the same purpose no issues other then the ones i mentioned but when I woke up it fixed it self. think its a keeper as well
Pockets, I am using AOKP on my N7 since its an official device. It gives me the long swipe to open the app drawer and Steven Spears says there should be a nightlie either tonight or tomorrow that gives the ability to ad toggles to the ribbons. Now, if we can talk Jamie into maintaining this ROM....it will be perfect!!!!

d1 that sounds awesome gotta say i'm loving this rom I hope jamie does decide to keep doing this rom I think it will be well received by the masses. On anther note you are like a rom bloodhound just sniffing them out, gotta say I've learned to keep an eye on you because your always one step ahead of the game.

Most settings work. And iirc I didn't ever say I was done with the project. I said I was done with the 3vo but I meant on xda (I hate xda). School is out, and I have some more free time on my hands.

So, I'm thinking about trying to port a stock ROM for the Verizon s4 to the DNA. Why you guys think? Just an idea.

I assume it will be hard and take lots of time and testing. More so than an HTC port since it's a Samsung device and they run different hardware. Some stuff may not ever work. The s4 has many features one would miss out on if ported to a DNA. Touchwiz would be nice to see because of it's fluidity and snapiness. That's something that sense has always lacked in my eyes.

Yeah you are right, it will be difficult. And some stuff may not work I'm not sure. I used to have the s3 and there was actually a dude working on a sense 5 port. I didn't keep the phone long enough to see if everything worked though, so I'll just play around with it and see what I can do. Also don't anyone get their hopes up about it being available like now because I have to fit this into my schedule, I'll keep you guys updated!!

It would be extremely difficult. I've been working on the sense 5 for s3 for a while now and its very difficult. Porting tw would be a pain.

Yeah you are actually the member I was referring to! Lol small world I guess. The guide that I am using says I need to install ubuntu on my computer and that has me at a stand still right now. I have a windows 8 pc and for some reason it's not wanting to install right. But I'm gonna keep working on it! How is your sense 5 port coming anyway?

I no longer have the og Note. I gave it to my wife and she doesn't want any ROM flashed to it, got her on stock 4.1.2 with root. I hate to drop support but with out the device I can't test let alone attempt any more ports for y'all. Hopefully she gets another phone soon and I can make a come back one of these days. Y'all are in great hands with the devs that are currently working on ROMs still. Happy flashing everybody wish y'all nothing but the best...
