Need a wallpaper created! - Nexus 10 Themes and Apps

I am looking for a very generous person to make me a custom wallpaper since I have no idea how to make them.
I am looking for something very simple. (I think it's simple anyway)
I want a very simple, dark, holo (blue), maybe even with the Nexus logo involved with it, background.
On the left most screen, I want, in 4.2.2 font and holo blue colour "OTHER"
Second left most screen I want, once again in the same font and colour "GOOGLE"
Middle/Home screen, same font, colour and style "SOCIAL"
Second right most screen, same font, colour and size "GAMES"
And finally, the right most screen, same font, colour and size "UTILITIES"
If anybody could do this for me it would be grat!

Why don't you download an abstract wallpaper with the colours you want and make the rest with minimalistic text?

How stupid/forgetful (please select one) of me!
Do you know any good wallpaper sites? I've tried Zedge and I can't find what I'm looking for, or at least nothing that is high enough resolution, and if possible I want something that doesn't scroll when you change screens. Or is that a setting?

Yes, this is a setting. Have you tried google images and changing resolution to 2560x1600? There are some nic abstract wallpapers. You can also try with 1920x1080.

I just go to Google images and type in 2560x1600...get tons of images

changing color

Is it possible to change the color of the letters in TF3D? For instance on the home screen my current letters are white, and if i use a lite colored wallpaper i cant see the letters.
I too wish to know how to do this. I know it is possible since I see all these fantastic themes out there, but all I want is to make the text a diferent color.
Thank you all!

Start bar clock color

I've done searching and didn't find anything about changing the start bar clock color. Is there a way to change it to black so I can use a white wallpaper? I looked in Co0kies 1.8.5. but it doesn't have and choice for the start bar color. is there a cab or program? Can it been done even? Thanks!

The Text color is set by the Them, Start Menu>Settings>Home , so you can change the theme, but you could also find a theme making app and make your own ...
Thank you for your replies! but i think i asked the question wrong ,,, What I want to do is change the color of the clock in the top bar itself from white to maybe black or dark blue. i have transparent/skinned bars using co0kie 1.8.5 and if I use a wallpaper that is white i can't see the clock as it is white also. So is it possible to change the color of the clock?
I think i no what you mean mate, as far as im aware right now the clock cant be touched, because i wanted to remove the clock and the only way i could do it was use a white wallpaper,

HTC eReader

Hey guys. Before the HTC Flyer, I use to use Aldiko and what I really loved about Aldiko was that I can change the margin size and font sizes more liberally than the HTC eReader. What I find annoying is that the eReader's margins are way too big, however I like the widget and the some of the other features, such as background page color. I was wondering if it is at all possible to decrease the margins so you can fit more text on screen.
If not, is there another eBook reader that provides a widget like HTC's?
Thanks in advance.
Looks like you can change font size, background color(white, light orange, light yellow, and night which is black with white text). I don't see a setting for margins, but the text size might be what you're looking for.
I know of those color page options and everything. I'm just looking for something that will change the margins. The font size, even when set to smallest, leaves quite a bit of margin-space and I feel I can fit more text in if I was able to modify that.
One of the benefits of the wider margins is that you can tap on links in e-books without turning pages. I run into that problem with some textbooks in other e-book readers (especially on my phone, but also on the Flyer.)
I agree, though, they are quite wide in HTC's reader. I haven't found a suitable alternative, either.

Why don't you continue to use aldiko? I know I do...
I like the widget for htc eReader. And with Aldiko, you can't change the the background color (or can you?)
I might end up having to use Aldiko, though.

You can change bg color in aldiko. No widget, though it has a shelf view.

Wallpaper Cropping

Can anyone recommend a application that you can use in place of setting a wallpaper the stock way. I have tried Wallpaper Wizardrii which allows me to crop the picture the way I would like, but I still get a black bar on the bottom and the wallpaper doesn't extend behind the notification bar. Any help is appreciated as this is incredibly annoying.
The big thing is to make sure your wallpaper is the right dimensions
Slithered from my HTC One X+
This is incredibly annoying on HTC Sense. It doesn't support scrollable wallpapers, it doesn't rotate into landscape mode (without a mod) so then why does it insist that I need to crop a perfectly fine 720x1280 image that should otherwise fit the screen just fine?
What apps do you use to force such an image as a wallpaper, without any gratuitous cropping? I just want a static image on all the screens, no scrolling, I don't care for landscape.
What about a fancier setup with a different static image on each screen? Possible with Sense, without using a different launcher?
I've tired multiple apps but none of them seem to work long term. The "solution" I've come up in the mean is making a Photoshop file with the dimensions of the phone in landscape mode and putting the image I would like add the wall paper in the center. Then save the file as a jpeg and download it to your phone. I don't really consider this as a "solution" as it should not take this much work to apply a simple wallpaper. For now this is the best I could come up with.

Try "Simple Image Wallpaper Free".
It works great for me.

What I use to apply images as wallpaper is an app called image 2 wallpaper. It's a free app and it's pretty good I hate how the stock wallpaper app does this weird zoom and splits the wallpaper 3 ways. Idk it's weird so I use that app and I'm pretty much happy with it

I played with it a bit and it seems the key here is that at least when using Sense, the required wallpaper size is 1440x1280. Yes, that's 2 x 720 (the screen width). I'm guessing that's to allow for scrolling across screens and for landscape mode for launchers that support it. I looked at the stock Jelly Bean wallpapers and they are also exactly 1440x1280. Note that other launchers may have other size requirements and they have their own options to allow scrolling the wallpaper or not. The stock Sense launcher does not scroll the wallpaper or allow landscape and it has no preference to enable it.
So if you have an image that's exactly 720x1280 (as I tried to initially use), what apps such as Image2Wallpaper do is turn it into 1440x1280 by padding it with a solid color (border). You can play with the options and set a white border color for example and then save the image from Image2Wallpaper and look at it, it will be obvious what is going on. Of course, you can do all this yourself in a photo editing application and then set the wallpaper via the stock Gallery, making sure the crop rectangle is fully expanded.
I haven't tried "Simple Image Wallpaper" yet, that may work in a different way as it's implemented as a live wallpaper. I wonder if there's any impact on CPU and battery with using such an app as opposed to a static image.
There's also MultiPicture Live Wallpaper which allows cycling through an album and has plugin for some online services such as Picasa.
Bottom line is that the native wallpaper format is 1440x1280. Here are some nice ones in this size to get you started:

Image2Wallpaper is also valuable to see what the wallpaper and true screen size a device claims to have. Hit the "Info" option in the menu. E.g.:
HOX+:
Wallpaper size: 1440x1280 (with HTC Sense launcher)
Screen: 720x1280
Nexus 7:
Wallpaper size: 1406x1280 (with stock JB 4.2.2 launcher)
Screen: 800x1205
Weird numbers for the N7, I'm guessing because of the soft buttons menu bar.
Landscape Wallpaper is decent if you want to get scrolling wallpapers with the stock Sense launcher.
Here's what I settled on after playing with wallpapers for a couple of days:
Image2Wallpaper: the best app I found for dealing with static images. It has just the right options and lets you save a correct size image that you can later on set via a different app.
Landscape Wallpaper: great if you want scrollable wallpapers with HTC Sense launcher. Not perfect because of the Sense limitations, but good enough if you must have scrollable wallpapers.
MultiPicture Live Wallpaper: great app if you have a bunch of wallpapers and want to switch between them quickly to see what they look like (all you have to do is double-tap the screen in an empty area while your device is "live"). Also nice because you can set it to automatically change your wallpapers if you like that style of random wallpapers every few hours.
Every other app I've seen mentioned and I tried was not worth keeping installed.
I hope this helps someone. Unfortunately the only way to really understand how wallpapers work is to play with them for a bit.

What about SHAPES on theme screens?

I was wondering if themer can allow us to put small pieces of images, or shapes into a screen, to make screens more eye-catching.
Why i´m asking this?
Some themes (like SKY theme) are just GREAT on images, but they uses dividers, ribbons, trays, or boxes, all drawed together with the wallpaper. Some guys, like me can be free to change just the picture, but keep the other graphic elements, shapes and lines that make the theme so interesting.
Other lack of funcionality is that sometimes I try to add a new page to a theme, and we have problems to make it 'similar' to the other ones existent on the theme, due to wallpaper differences and other things... One-click theming is awesome, but some guys cant stand it and go ahead with customizations :cyclops:
Do you themer guys think this might be a good idea or this can be a problem for memory comsumption point.

Have fun, once Zooper Widget also becomes integrated you'll be able to create shapes there too
