Headset button controllers? - 7" Kindle Fire HD Themes and Apps

Hey guys, Has anyone been able to get an app like Headset Button Controller to work on the KFHD?
If you don't know what that is, It's an app that lets you control the music player using the headphone's button, Like:
* Single press: play / pause
* Double press: next track
* Double press and Hold: previous track
etc...
I have tried everything to get these apps to function but none of them seem to be able to override the KFHD's default configuration which is long press: play/pause and that's it.
Can anyone help?

Mine sort of works without that app. Long press (3 seconds or so) will play/pause. That's about it though. I might add that I am using Player Pro.

[Q] Get headset button controls to work.

Hey all, I'm a long time reader 1st time poster.
I was wondering if there was a way to get single button headset controls to work on apps like poweramp.
I'm running superclean 2.9.2 if that helps any.

I'd like a reply to this too. I'm also running SC 2.9.2 and when I use a wired headset pressing the button once does nothing but a long press or double or triple press will cause whatever app I'm in to Force Close.

[Q] Headphone Media Button Reassignment

Does anyone know how to disable the functionality where double tapping the music play button (in line buttons) calls back the most recent number? I'm used to the galaxy nexus where 2 taps would skip songs. A market app would be great as well if anyone knows of such an app. Thanks!

[Q] Config Headphone Remote - Double Tap

I was wondering if it's possible to change the controls of the headphones that came with the phone? I'm sure all of you are aware that holding the pause button, makes it switch to the next song. Is it possible to make it so that double tap of the pause button will switch songs?
I assume it's likely not possible but if it's possible please feel free to share
I don't know about you but mine switches on double tap, not on hold.
Nvm, problem solved. I was using poweramp and didn't change the settings in it for double/tripple tap. Seems to work default double tap for skip song on the galaxy player tho.
On the same subject, can you use the volume rocker to long press to different tracks? Thanks.

[REQUEST] Headset button control

I wanna change my headset default button action from pause/play to next track.
I used the app JAYS headset control and it helped but it didnt work for me when i assigned play/pause to single long click.
Although i dont wanna use an app for this.
Is there any settings that can be modified for this?
PS: If there is no other option than to use an app, please tell me which app would be the best!!!

double click the pause/play button. it will play the next song
some players feature previous song by 3 clicks also !
i didnt know that
will try
but is there any way to reverse these options
i mean single click next track and double click play/pause?
because next track is used more than pause/play!

Use players other than stock, it doesnt support it!
I can advise you to install xposed and tweakbox. There you can list tracks by volume buttons (only work rooted phone and when screen is off).

I use player pro. It allows me to play/pause on one click, goto next song on double click & previous song on triple click. You can also use long press instead of double click.

[Q] Headphone fast forward double tap not working

Hi,
can anyone tell me how to fast forward when using the headphones when i double tap all it does is call the last dialled number.
I have installed headset button control trial and double tap works but not all the time.
Having same issue, guess that's just how sense is. I don't like.
Sent from my HTC One using xda app-developers app
I just got my phone yesterday, coming from Galaxy S3, and am having the same issue.
If no music program is running and I press the button on the remote, it starts the music program (google music) and plays a song.
If I press the button while music is playing, it pauses/resumes the song.
If i double press the button while music is playing, it stops the song and dials the last number.
If I i plug my 3 button Galaxy S3 headphones with 3 button remote into the HTC one, all 3 buttons (Previous, Next, Middle button) work.
How do I get the stock headphones to be able to skip to the next track?
I was having the same kind of issue, when double pressing the button to skip to the next track it will dial the last number called (when you end the call it does skip the track)
After researching I found this: which then made me believe the One has the same issue

I've been using the app "Headset Button Controller" and it's been working fine since
