AOToolbox changes the format of Apps when you 'backup apps' which does not make sense; we want to be able to use backup apps without any tool to restore. Because of this Android Assistant is my preferred app. Othewise it would be your AOToolbox. They are both very good apps and thank you.

You can do 0-click batch & scheduled backups. Backups will operate without closing any apps (with Pro). You can move any app (or app data) to/from the SD card. 4.Link2sd
Link2SD is an application that makes it easy for Android 1.6+ users with root privileges on their phone to move applications to the SD card.
The idea behind is same with apps2sd scripts, linking applications to SD card's second partition but differs in two ways.
One, instead of linking /data/app folder (that means moving all applications), you can select applications that you want to move.
Two, it's an application which means has a user interface. You can manage your applications with few clicks.
It also provides native apps2sd features on Android 2.2 and higher. It can move any non-protected user apps to SD card (force move), with batch moving capability.
That feature uses Android's standard SD-card installation feature and does not require a second partition. It can break some apps if they are not meant to be moved to the SD card (Such as Widgets).

Hi everyone,
I came here to ask some question with you guys. I have my S2 for a year now and I notice that my internal memory is getting low and low and low. So I downloaded airdroid just to see my files detail on where my memory is going.

It's probably used by programs you installed. If you don't care for those programs, try to uninstall them. That will free up some space.

"Others" is just the collection of all not video, not picture and not music files on your sd card.
It could be downloads, backups, system/cache files, app data (e.g. local maps, offline information, etc.), emails, messages, contacts, calendar entries, etc.
So, "Others" gives you nearly no additional information about what it is really.
You should have a closer look at your sd card content with a file explorer, such as ES File Explorer (free app from Google Play store).
Then browse your files.
Some suggestions:
1. Maybe you can remove all unused apps in menu "Settings" > "Applications" first. Some apps need much storage on your sd card - especially those with local/offline data.
2. And check your email/messages. Maybe you can remove all old entries to get more free space on your internal storage.
3. Check your download/browser folder(s). Maybe there is a high internet "cache". In most browsers you can set an option to remove the internet cache.
Good luck !

[rom][unofficial][5.0lollipop]

The users of HTC Amaze 4g can now update their handsets to Android 5.0 Lollipop using custom ROM. The new Android 5.0 Lollipop comes with many new features :
- Up to 4x performance improvements.
- A battery saver feature which extends device use by up to 90 mins.
- It has a faster, smoother and more powerful computing experience.
- Support for 64-bit SoCs using ARM, x86, and MIPS-based cores.
- OpenGL ES 3.1 and Android extension pack brings Android to the forefront of mobile graphics putting it on par with desktop and console class performance.
- Responsive, natural motion, realistic lighting and shadows, and familiar visual elements make it easier to navigate your device.
- More intelligent ranking of notifications based on who they’re from and the type of communication. See all your notifications in one place by tapping the top of the screen.
- New devices come with encryption automatically turned on to help protect data on lost or stolen devices.
- SELinux enforcing for all applications means even better protection against vulnerabilities and malware.
- State of the art video technology with support for HEVC main profile to allow for UHD 4K 10-bit video playback, tunneled hardware video decoding to save power and improved HLS support for streaming.
- and other cool features.
Here are some more aspects that users should know before trying out the custom ROM :
- Users need to have proper back-up for their personal data on the device.
- The handset should have at least 80 percent of battery power.
- The users also need to ensure that USB Debugging is enabled on the device.
- During the installation, if the device gets stuck on booting, users can perform wipe cache partition and wipe dalvik before rebooting the device.
1. Download Android 5.0 Lollipop ROM for HTC Amaze 4g from link below :
The ROM File size is big, so I split the file into 3 parts :
ROM Part 1 : MOD EDIT - LINK REMOVED
ROM Part 2 : MOD EDIT - LINK REMOVED
ROM Part 3 : MOD EDIT - LINK REMOVED
To combine 3 parts files : put all the parts into the same folder, then double click on ROM-Part1.rar, all the other parts will unpack and combine automatically. If any problem with the ROM, maybe because the ROM have corrupted during the download process, you can try to re-download the ROM.
2. Install the ROM Manager on your HTC Amaze 4g . Get it from Google Play Store, then install the clockwork mod recovery. You also can use ROM Installer application from JRummy Apps Inc.(Get it from Google Play Store).
3. Connect your HTC Amaze 4g to your PC employing the USB information cable. Copy the “ROM.zip” file you downloaded to the SD memory card.
4. Restart your device in the recovery mode using ROM Manager. As soon as in Recovery Mode, go to ROM Manager and select backup/restore to back-up your information.
5. From the Recovery Menu do a total data erase (including Delvik Cache). When completed, go back to Recovery Principal Menu and choose Flash ROM from SD Card. Navigate the location you copied the ”ROM.zip” file and follow the directions for installing Android 5.0 Lollipop on your HTC Amaze 4g . As soon as the installation is over, just reboot your HTC Amaze 4g device, and here you go, you’ve just upgraded it to the new Android 5.0 Lollipop.

That is about the same as I found. It seems that besides that one has to make it device owner, not just profile owner, or whatever.
Android Device Owner
In our previous blog post called Implementing Kiosk Mode in Android: Part 3, we briefly explored the Device Owner concept that was introduced in Android 5.0, Lollipop. In this article, we will provide a more in-depth look at the Android Device Owner, device policy controllers and what these mean...

Development WSA-pacman: Windows Subsystem for Android package installer

Greetings my fellow geeks
I would like to share my small part-time project I've been working on on the last few weeks.
I would've liked to post it in the Windows 11 dedicated thread, but well... there isn't any at the time of writing this
That said, this project is still in a very early stage of development, as of yet barebones (but I have many plans to expand it), and I even was too lazy to remove the default Flutter logo and icon... so consider it a pre-alpha; but hey, it works!
This may not sound like a "few weeks in development" project, but I had to implement a way to read an Android apk icon from scratch and that's what I spent most of my time with.
At the moment the application allows you to install any .apk package on WSA (by associating .apk files to the executable), as well as providing a convenient shortcut to the Android settings and the "Manage Applications" section (otherwise only accessible via console commands). It also has a few options (android port and light/dark theme).
More features are on the way, and I plan to show way more information on the installer (eg. app permissions, option to downgrade a package etc...)
The app is open source and available to download here

It most likely means WSA is shut off, try opening an Android app (eg. Amazon Appstore) to boot it up, or set it to never shut down automatically in WSA options (not recommended)
You must also make sure to enable Android developer mode (also in WSA settings)
EDIT: now that I'm reading your comment again, you said you have Windows 10, did you manage to install WSA there?

It requires WSA, so I guess it's not strictly Win11 as long as you manage to install WSA on Windows 10 (I have no idea whether you can and how)
This app just provides a GUI for apk installation, but depends on the Android subsystem

thank you.i think its need win11.
Thank you very much for translating the app into Hebrew.
For some reason all the time it disconnects from me and gives the wrong port impression.
How could it not register it for me.
And is it possible to give support in APKS
Thank you.
