Hamster Beat applications - Your Portfolio

Hey, guys!
Let me introduce myself. I'm a founder of Hamster Beat team, which is focused on personalization apps development for Android. Most of our apps are live wallpapers, but unlike other live wallpapers, we are trying to implement only the most original ideas and not cloning existing apps like many others.
We're looking for promotions partners in US, Europe and all the world. Cross-promotion is also very interesting for us
So, if you have any idea we can work together in any way, you're welcome to contact me here on xda.
And here is some info about our work.
We started to work together with my friend on May 2012. Our first work was Metaballs Liquid HD. The idea come from PC machine graphics, and it was really hard to get it work on smartphones because of a complex computations. But we did it, spent a couple of month for coding and optimization research. The fate was not on our side, and application got banned on Play Store after a while due to sexual content violation, although there were completely no such a content inside the app. The discussion with Google Support team did not help, so we had to republish it with a higher maturity rating.
Here is how this app looks right now:
Then, we thought we can create an app that would be useful for those people who do not actually use live wallpapers. We started to work on a completely free app called Panoramic Screen which turns any regular 2D image into 3D panorama (not 360, of course, it's impossible).
This app is already featured on XDA main page. It was chosen to be included in top10 hottest apps on appbrain twice and few days ago we received information from Google Editors that they suggest Panoramic Screen to get featured on Google Play.
Panoramic Screen is free and you're welcome to try it. Here is how it looks:
Next time we focused on even more complicated idea. We wanted to create an application that can modify any other wallpaper and can animate something over any image picked from the gallery. Several months of coding leads us to Coloring Screen and Coloring Weather Screen applications. Coloring Screen was featured on xda and appbrain too. App allows to apply well-known photo filters and colors effects to change the entire look of any image. The full version is trying to animate current weather conditions, seasons and time of the day over ANY custom background. Although that was an extremely great idea, i can't tell we implemented it quite well. We had risen too high in India and received a very low percentage of active application installs compared to our other apps. So, i'm not actually sure if we can help it right now, but anyway we will merge Panoramic Screen with Coloring Screen into one app in the nearest future.
Our other apps you can always find on Google Play.
You're welcome to ask any questions if you want to know more about our experience.
Have a good weekend!

i once saw the review of PanoramicScreen on a blog and i tried it...very good app! Since then I have looked for information on how to create live wallpaper but with no luck
Anyway keep up the good work! ;D

What's going wrong? It seems quite simple to create basic lwp. Actually, lwp creation process is more about design, art and promotion instead of coding.

just want to drop in and say good luck in your endeavours! I absolutely loved panoramic screen as it was so simple yet customisable

Metaballs
Hi -- just thought I'd say how much I like Metaballs.

Thanks, since last update, Coloring Screen includes the same panoramic effect in addition to color and photo filters.

Notification center customization

Hi, as we all know androids notification is quite great. Apple however took this concept and in my opinion improved it. Many developer also seemd to like it and there are many apps on cydia that offers some customization.
What I'm looking for is an app or any way really that lets you customize the drop down window.
I'd like to b able to change wallpaper, change color of text, add widgets and info for fast updates.
I have spent many hours googling but I cant find anything like this. Is there any way to do this or does someone have thw ability to make souch an app?
I hope
I'm pretty sure access to the android notification can not be done through an app. Its like a core system process that probably can't be edited in real time. You would have to embed some sort of "notification drop down settings" into the OS.
But he is right Apple should not be ahead of us in any way..
Has no one left with common computer skills?
There's many topics on this here one just for you http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1363528
Google and search button's seems to be extra these days
Good stuff I'll have to try. I don't know about everyone else about the search function, but I like to use my phone as a PC so the search does not work all that great through the android browser. Then filtering through the results.on this smaller than PC screen will give anyone a headache. Maybe the xda app is better idk..

[APP] Ubuntu Blackjack

I just started working on a series of card games for Ubuntu Touch. I think these will be great additions to the platform's app ecosystem. You can view some screenshots of my progress here: https://plus.google.com/110587021591787005452/posts/9yRiPbRxSFJ
Please let me know if you have suggestions
Is it possible to change the background color? All Ubuntu Touch applications have this ugly purple.
Maybe green would look good.
But great work!

Yeah, that can easily be changed. Green could look like a nice card table. I'll experiment. But, form follows function!

Highlights include
-Device Convergence: Different layouts for different screen sizes
-Improved Game Play Features
-High Scores
Source code available: https://code.launchpad.net/~brad-4/ubuntu-blackjack/main
Can you add this to a ppa?, I use my Nexus 7 as my primary computer which is running Ubuntu Touch and would rather download a built package instead of compiling.
Thanks for the hard work by the way!!!

I wanted to share a few screenshots highlighting the progress of the Ubuntu Blackjack app. The app has seen a number of significant improvements since I last provided an update here:
When I began, I intended to include several card games in one app, but somebody suggested that I focus on one game and try to make it really enjoyable to play. The idea was that the game would be the experience that other developers see and want to emulate. I heeded this advice, and focused on blackjack. Initially, the game was very simple. A deck was generated, and the player simply drew cards, but there was no real motivation to continue playing. I implemented additional gameplay features so the game would involve a fair amount of strategy, rather than sheer luck. Still, the game needed an objective, so I devised a system for keeping score, with increased stakes as the rounds progress. Naturally, I had to add a database to store the top 10 scores! Later, I realized it would be nice to share high scores with friends, so I utilized the Online Accounts and Friends APIs to allow sharing of scores on social media networks. Hopefully this publicity will draw more users to the Ubuntu Touch platform.
Next, I focused on audio/visual improvements. I incorporated feedback from the Ubuntu community, including an Ubuntu design clinic, to implement designs that are simple and functional, yet visually appealing. I included realistic animations and textures. It was important that the design be convergent so it will look good on all screen sizes and take advantage of the available screen real estate as it scales up. Consequently, blackjack is a great way to pass a few minutes on phone, tablet, or desktop! Next, I packaged a rich set of free audio and added a toggle to the settings page, so the user can choose to play with sound for a more immersive experience.
I want the user experience to be pleasant from start to finish, not just while the game is loaded. To balance all these new features, I had to make changes to improve load time. I also decided to add a splash screen, so the user has visual feedback while loading is in progress. A splash screen is much more pleasant to look at than a blank white screen.
Download the app today from the click store on your Ubuntu Touch device and let me know what can be improved!

[Q] What is the theme builder application?

How does a person create a theme and then use it? I'd like to have very specific things on my theme but other than adding to an existing theme, i can't seem to take away from an existing theme, how do I create a new one from scratch?
I know they say watch the vid but if you are like me you need to see it in writing,it makes more sense to me that way.Anyway the easiest way is to grab a theme and change it around/edit,get a feel for the program then create your own by changing wallpapers, icons, weather etc.A lot of themes now won't let you edit them I have found, however download any of mine and edit away they are all editable,as are a few more posted here but names don't spring to mind, none in my opinion are any better or worse than each other they just have their own little attributes that makes them unique in their own way.So go on and play around m8,it will be fun.

Thanks, I cannot stand those youtube videos that "show" you how to do things. I find them tedious and unusable. I'd rather just get some instructions, an application and let me do it. Yet, so many seem to post "youtube instructions" i write this stuff for a living and have never found a video more useful than written instructions. However, that's my bias.
I'll go check out some of yours.
I agree with your assessment that NONE of the themes I've downloaded have been editable. I don't want to ADD more widgets and icons to a theme. I just want to start with a blank canvas and let me do it.
Yet, if all these themes exist, HOW were they created? I'm really not going to watch a youtube video. There has to be a building application somewhere. Not re-engineer something already there.
One question, when you say "download mine" where do I find yours. None of the ones I've seen through the application say who created them.
mine and others are in the screenshots and themes forum beneath the general discussion.I agree fully with the video and much prefer to read it as I find it more followable, but again I suppose that is my bias too.You can start almost fresh, grab a theme as posted earlier, then delete everything,if the theme uses everything widget this is simple to do,just press screen and choose remove, then change the wallpaper by selecting your own then simply add you own widgets etc via the inbuilt everything widget (although this isn't as stable as it could be) or download widgets from playstore etc then add them, hope this helps apologies if I seem to waffle on.

Hi sanjsrik,
I'm the one who made the YouTube tutorial videos, so I apologize if they weren't that informative. Those were created in the beginning just to give people a basic understanding of what Themer was about.
Alldroid is correct in saying that starting with a fresh blank theme is the best, then just seeing what works and what doesn't. My advice would be learn more about Zooper Widget, as a lot of the newer themes use it, and it's brilliant. That's all Themer is essentially, a wallpaper, some widgets, and maybe some icons if you're feeling brave. We do recommend making the grid size quite large, in order to make the widget resizing easier. you might also notice that the new themes include incredibly detailed icons, these are in fact Zooper fonts, so as mentioned play around with the Zooper widgets found in the new themes.
If you need help/ideas feel free to ask, I'm always here to help!

Marco,
I would definitely go for it... though I am more of a "hands on" student and for learning I need to hear the stuff (that's how I learned all the stuff during college - my wife reading the material and me laying down and just listening - damn, she was so furious when I got the same grades as she did... ;o]]]), the text might help you gain more audience among those "give-me-a-manual-and-shut-up" types.
You have created a superb product for the tinkerers so a step further in the direction of a superb customer/user support would be a definitive nod in the right direction.
I personally would like more short video tutorials on specific features, how they work, what is their purpose and the mechanics (Yeah, you guessed it, I am not that familiar with design and graphics;o]) and maybe a tut on the 'codes' for custom formats of zooper widget.
well and maybe few more videos with theme designers like the one you guys did with GeriArts would also be inspiring... ;o]]]
another definate yes here too thanks, would make it a more better product in my opinion.

I promise I am NOT complaining. I promise I am NOT criticizing. I am just asking the question, WHAT is Themer?
from everything I understand, it's not a true "application", it's a wallpaper that then people can add widgets that "do" things.
if this is the case, HOW are these widgets "locked" where they can't be changed in a lot of the wallpapers I've downloaded.
THAT is my only question.
Oh, and how come there's not a "builder" application for Themer?

No worries we weren't offended by your comments, we're just trying to make everyone's theming experience as easy possible.
Themer is a launcher. Just like TouchWiz, Nova, Apex, ssLauncher, etc. It's a link between the hardware and software, you could think of it as the body/shell of a car. The car can have a different shell, and with Themer, it's shell can be customized in seconds.
Calling it a wallpaper with widgets doesn't really do it justice, as a launcher incorporates your app drawer as well, and maybe some more features arriving soon.
One thing to remember is that Themer, once stripped to its core, it a launcher, just like the rest. By that we mean you're able to edit/add/remove widgets, change wallpapers, change the icons (icon pack support arriving soon), etc. To unlock widgets, hold down on the homescreen - Advanced - Unlock Widgets. Repeat the process to lock them, or alternatively you can go into the main Themer settings - Advanced - Desktop - enable Lock Desktop Widgets.
Whenever the widgets/icons are unlocked, this can be called the "builder" mode, as you can add/remove/edit widgets and icons.
Hope this helps!

Thank you for the constructive email.
I think the biggest confusion anyone has with your "application" is that it doesn't seem like an application. It really does sound like a wallpaper with widgets. For example:
* Is there the ability to add groups for grouping together like kinds of applications?
* Can I add my own icons for applications?
Think GoLauncher or some other such "launcher" application that exists.

1. With Themer, you can add in Smart Category folders. For example the Games Category, when you install a new game, it will show up in this category and then whichever theme has a games folder, this new game will automatically appear. This saves a lot of time, but you can also manually add in your own categories or manually add in your own apps to a category.
2. Icon pack support is still limited. If you have icons on the homescreen, these can be edited manually. Some icon packs are supported, but you can also set them to other images in your gallery.

YES! I watched many of the videos and I'm still very much confused. I have specific ideas for what I want, and although I can figure some things out on my own by trial and error, reinventing the wheel is both time-intensive and tiresome.
Also, I am glad to hear that icon pack support is on the list. Although my plans include heavy use off the app drawer, I'd like to have the icons in there be pleasing to my eye as well as the ones on my home screen.
It's a great product, one that I've already suggested to several friends. I just am more demanding than the "average bear".

most icon packs by default don't work with themer, but there is a way round this although you will need to manually change the icons you want to use.
Download apk extractor from Playstore
download the icon packs you want to your device
using apk extractor extract the apk of the icon pack you downloaded, this file will be stored on your device main storage in the apk extrat folder.
Attach your device to your laptop etc, then drag the extracted apk icon pack to it
rename the icon.apk and change the apk extension to zip
open with your favourite zip program
then simply extract the icon file images

Too Much Music not enough Calendar?

First of all, I absolutely love this app. It's so easy to use yet powerful and the variety is just incredible. I remember a few years ago when I still had a jailbroken iPhone 3GS, it took me a whole afternoon just to make my phone look like one of these themes, now it's just a press of a button.
I just want to voice a little suggestion for the designers out there and if anyone disagrees with me, please send it right back. I think one of the coolest things about Android compared to iOS is the widgets and one widget that many people use often around me is the calendar. Unfortunately, even though there are so many amazing themes made for this app, very few of them actually dedicate enough space to a calendar widget (and often not at all).
Every theme though seems to dedicate a whole page to a music app. From my experience, this isn't really necessary since when a song is playing, i can see it in the notifications shade or when I want to start a new session to listen to music, I probably want to go into the app and choose which song to start with.
So I'm just making a suggestion to include more calendar widgets in future themes because at the moment, there's not enough themes with them but there are too many themes with music widgets. What do you guys think?
or better yet, make a theme yourself and include whatever you want =)

I plan to eventually but I don't have the time right now so I thought I'd make a suggestion for those who do.
A good way to start finding your work-life balance is to challenge yourself to identify one behavior that you can change. What makes you happiest? What stresses you out the most? Determine your answers, then focus on a few areas in which you can improve, whether it's socializing more at work or planning out your day better. Soon you’ll be living happier, too!

well that sorted my life out !!!! seriously how is this helping anyone !!!!!
I understand what you mean that many do try and have more music apps etc and as you mention are not always useful,I am guilty of this myself in some respects, but when I create a style I create them because I want to not because they may or not become popular,as this doesn't concern me.It is all down to personal taste I suppose.
I maybe give this a try in a future theme,to be honest it is a good suggestion in my opinion

Yeah, right now it is the shades of green the only really good theme, if you want events on the home screen. I also feel that all the themes go in a direction of fun and design, and there are only very few, that at least add basic organizer options.
More work related themes would be welcome
I have to second the request for a calendar widget in more of the themes.
I LOVE themer and it's my default launcher now. I use the agenda view of the calendar all the time which gives me the option to scroll through my appointments and meeting times. Unfortunately, there are only a handful of themes that present this option, such as 'Series', 'Silver lining', 'Coordinate' and 'Violet'.
I usually just end up inserting an agenda widget in one of the unused whitespaces in the screen.
I would make my own themes, but I don't have a creative bone in my body. I couldn't hope to come up with anything half as nice as what you guys do on a regular basis.
Thank you for all your hard work. I will certainly be paying for this launcher when it comes out of beta. :good:

I would make my own themes, but I don't have a creative bone in my body. I couldn't hope to come up with anything half as nice as what you guys do on a regular basis.
Thank you for all your hard work. I will certainly be paying for this launcher when it comes out of beta. :good:

Thanks for your response! We've passed this message onto the team and will look into including more agenda-focused themes

G Theme 3
Click me for Video Promo
t's back!!! This is G Theme 3. Why G Theme you ask? Well I think you can figure that out when you use it what it's all about. This theme is a premium quality theme like no other Home theme+. What you see is what you get and that is quality and attention to details! G Theme 3 is a dark theme with beautiful colors and designs throughout it. The Dark Notifications compliment the ui and battery life! This theme supports adaptive icons and I recommended choosing circle which is unlocked as a feature and can be accessed from going into the settings application and then going into display, home and choose the icon shape. Due to this the music app does have a light overlay at the bottom which is a bug that LG should address!!! For real LG fix that will ya.
Now this is the important part. This theme is only for LG devices running UX 6, Android 8.0 Oreo. If you are running a different LG UX or android version this will not work and if you upgrade from the above this theme may not work properly. It is presented on an "as is basis". I do my best to try and update to allow for the theme to function on all devices as best I can and as soon as I can. However due to LG's interesting update cycle sometimes one device may update prior to others.
To apply the theme simply go into settings/display and select themes. From there select Twilight, and push apply! then reboot and then reapply the theme again. It's a bit more in depth than other themes but given the complexity of this premium theme it is required for all elements to be themed properly.
That's it! Simple, easy and quick.
The theme comes with a coral wallpaper but if you'd like to have it animated simply grab this add on and set it as a live wallpaper and you'll be all set. Since most Lg Devices don't support seamless wallpapers just download this and install it and set as your live wall and enjoy!
Live Wallpaper right Here!!!
Please note that refunds will not be given for installations on non UX 6 (running Oreo) Devices. As the title of the theme clearly indicates which device this is for and this app description does specify which OS version is supported..
This theme is also meant to run at the highest resolution, with the lowest stock setting for the actual display size. Larger sizes may cause some elements to look slightly off. If this happens please lower the display sizes of the iconography.
If you run into any issues please send me an email directly instead of leaving a poor rating. Often I am very quick to reply and great to solve any issues. The review system is not meant to be a support channel!
Thank you so much for your support and I hope you enjoy this theme. I've worked extremely hard on this and by far it was the most challenging and time consuming project I've ever made!
Twilight
See bottom of description for Quick Settings and Dialer Add-on Patches!
This is Twilight an LG Home+ theme for your LG V20, G6, V30, G5 running Oreo only (Pie is not yet supported!!!) This theme is a premium quality theme like no other Home theme+. What you see is what you get and that is quality and attention to details! Twilight is a dark theme with bright gradient accents throughout. This theme does not support adaptive icons as some of the key features of this theme are blocked by enabling the adaptive icons. If you'd prefer adaptive you will need to use a 3rd party launcher like Hyperion.
3rd party Quick Settings Icons:
Some apps allow the user to add a shortcut activity to the quick settings panel. This is not supported by this theme whatsoever. If you decided to add any icons to your quick settings panel they will not show up. They will be 100% transparent. They cannot be added. If this bothers you then in a future update I will make an add-on quick settings patch that will add usability back for them, however it will sacrifice the creativity of the current structure of both styles of available quick settings icons. It will be more minimal and all the icons will be the same color like how most themes are. Due to the complexity and advanced nature of this theme this is something that I am aware of and have embraced 100%.
To apply the theme simply go into settings/display and select themes. From there select Twilight, and push apply!
Please note that refunds will not be given for installations on non LG V20, G6, V30, G5 Oreo Devices. The title of the theme clearly indicates which device this is for and the description also specify which OS version is supported..
This theme is also meant to run at the highest resolution, with the lowest stock setting for the actual display size. Larger sizes may cause some elements to look slightly off. If this happens please lower the display sizes of the iconography.
If you run into any issues please send me an email directly instead of leaving a poor rating. Often I am very quick to reply (unless I'm sleeping and you're in a different time zone) and great to solve any issues. The review system is not a direct support channel!
Quick tip... Search and install the app "Quick Shortcut Maker" on google play. Install, then set a 1x1 quick shortcut maker widget and drag it on your home screen. Then in the activities tab, scroll down to "Themes", expand it. touch 1st option at the top of the list that doesn't have and upwards arrow. Hit Create" button at the bottom and now you have a themes app shortcut.
This theme as you can see from the screen previews shows two different styles of Quick Settings icons. This is because I designed both styles and had a tough time deciding on which ones to go with so I decided to make them both. Minimum are default. If you wish to change them simply install the corresponding patch to the style that you want. After you've installed the patch, apply the default LG theme. Then reboot and reapply the theme. If you wish to change back the original style you can repeat the above process using the other patch. I've uploaded and clearly labeled both patches. They can be found here: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=288986
There is also a patch for the V20/G5 and G6/V30 for the dialer. Because these devices have a different screen resolution I could not make a universal round dialer app. I had to make it just plain black by default but you can install a patch for it as well. These are in the same folder as the quick settings add-ons in the above link. To apply them follow the same steps. V20/G6 Dialer: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=288982
V30/G6 Dialer: ttps://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=288984
Thank you so much for your support and I hope you enjoy this theme. I've worked extremely hard on this and by far it was the most challenging and time consuming project I've ever made!
Pixel Experience Dark
Welcome to the dark side. This is Pixel Experience Dark! Including dark notifications! I'm really proud of this and how it turned out! Please take the time to read the app description as there is some important information in there for your benefit which will help you get the best experience out of this theme! Also in the description are optional patches which are theme specific!
So go get it and please drop me a quick rating and if you'd also be so kind to give this a quick share too that would be great!

Hey Guys, It's me again. I figured it would be easiest and more organized if I made my own thread here so that I can offer support and obtain user feedback on my themes. I am not here to sell my work whatsoever and that is not the purpose of this thread. Posts regarding updates are strictly for the purposes of obtaining feedback on what I do. and to see if users are pleased with said changes. I will never post a direct link to anything I make that is paid as that is not allowed
First things first to any mods who may be peeping it is important to note that I am complying with xda rules and there are zero paid direct links posted anywhere in this thread by me. So there are no rules being violated. Rule 11 states that I can use xda to get user feedback on paid applications and that is what this thread is for so I am well within rule 11 which can be found here:
11. Don?t post with the intention of selling something.
Don?t use XDA to advertise your product or service. Proprietors of for-pay products or services, may use XDA to get feedback, provide beta access, or a free version of their product for XDA users and to offer support, but not to post with the intention of selling. This includes promoting sites similar / substantially similar to XDA-Developers.com.
Do not post press releases, announcements, links to trial software or commercial services, unless you?re posting an exclusive release for XDA-Developers.com.
Encouraging members to participate in forum activities on other phone related sites is prohibited.
Off-site downloads are permitted if the site is non-commercial and does not require registration.
Off-site downloads from sites requiring registration are NOT encouraged but may be permitted if both of the following conditions are met:
A) The site belongs to a member of XDA-Developers with at least 1500 posts and 2 years membership, who actively maintains an XDA-Developers support thread(s) / posts, related to the download.
B) The site is a relatively small, personal website without commercial advertising / links (i.e. not a competitor forum-based site with purposes and aims similar to those of XDA-Developers.com.)
Be sure to follow me on google plus to stay up to date and get additional theme information regarding updates and other testing and feedback.
So this thread is for all those who are using any of my themes where we can come discuss things, give feedback and post screens etc of what I've been working on. I will continue to add new themes and post screens of my work here and interact with all of you. I ask that you be civil to myself and other members and keep any feedback constructive.
nXt
Welcome to the nXt experience. This is unlike any other theme with designs no other designer has even attempted. You will notice that with this experience you have the illusion of a slightly rounded edge screen running from the top to bottom. You'll notice that not even the navigation or status bar interferes with this. This is an in your face theme with dark tones and rich blue accents. It is accompanied by rich icons with an exaggerated material edging and shading yet it still remains clean and in your face.
I have included an overlay for the LG stock Calculator app. However there are a few hoops to jump through should you wish it to be themed. If you're using a version of the LG Calculator please uninstall it and then install this one here: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=817550096634796912
On stock theme this will not be affected but if you use nXt then you'll have the app icon themed as well as the text color for history corrected. Please note that LG does not normally allow this application to be themed.
Aurora
Aurora is the follow up to G Theme (see below!!!). I was inspired by watching a show on Netflix in which every so often the camera would pan to show the Northern lights and that gave way to this idea. The results is my interpretation via theme design. I hope you like it!
G Theme
G Theme Dark
G theme is a Googley style theme with some added flair and bright icons! You will experience some fun animations and lots of visually stimulating elements

Rain
This is Rain, an LG Home+ theme for your LG G8, LG V40, LG V50 running Android 9. This theme is a premium quality theme like no other Home theme+. What you see is what you get and that is quality and attention to details! Rain is a dark theme with some bright gradient accents throughout. The Dark Notifications compliment the ui and battery life! The app icons have a slight gradient to them, with some more noticeable than others. This theme does not support adaptive icons as some of the key features of this theme are blocked by enabling the adaptive icons. If you'd prefer adaptive you will need to use a third party launcher like Hyperion or Nova.
No need to run a third party theme system any more, just use the system theme chooser and you can enjoy all the benefits of an advanced theme system.
To apply the theme simply go into settings/display and select themes. From there select Rain, and push apply! then reboot and then reapply the theme again. It's a bit more in depth than other themes but given the complexity of this premium theme it is required for all elements to be themed properly. Also it is not recommended to "Hide the second screen/notch"'. This may cause some system apps to look odd.
That's it! Simple, easy and quick.
This theme is also meant to run at the highest resolution, with the lowest stock setting for the actual display size. Larger sizes may cause some elements to look slightly off. If this happens please lower the display sizes of the iconography.
Now for the only part that real matters!!!! Screenshot all the thingies!
Enjoy!!!

Instructional video on how to apply Alpha, see below
You will need ADB installed on your pc: Right here
You will also need the substratum app as well as the Andromeda app and the Desktop client for Andromeda
This thread is for support and feedback for my LG Substratum themes and legacy LG themes. with the update to 8.0 Oreo substratum is now supported without rooting your device. Due to the capabilities with Substratum all previous LG themes will be referred to as "Legacy themes" and the primary focus has shifted to Substratum. Since substratum can provide everything that an LG theme can provide and more it makes the most sense to evolve and transcend into the more advanced theming system.
So this is my first theme "Alpha". It has a double meaning and I feel is appropriate for this theme. Let's stop with the chit chat and post a few screenshots and if you're looking for a way to pass the time then keep reading! I promise you the literature doesn't get any better, but have at it!

Oh hey everyone! Again, I didn't see ya there. You just snuck right up on me now didn't ya bud. Well it's that time again. Another new beautiful LG device is upon us and I had to get it. So it must mean it's time for another fun theme discussion and feedback thread. Now I must get this next bit out of the way to make it clear what the purpose of this thread is. 1: I am not here to sell my work whatsoever and that is not the purpose of this thread. Posts regarding updates, screenshots or other communication are strictly for the purposes of obtaining feedback on what I do. and to see if users are pleased with said changes. 2: I will never post a direct link to anything I make that is paid as that is not allowed and I expect that as users you will not post links either.
My V20 and G6 threads are absolutely fantastic and I encourage you all to check it out at some point if you wish to see how I interact with people. I cannot thank you all enough who have supported me and given me feedback and interacted with me in any way to discuss things theme related. Don't be shy about commenting or giving suggestions or feedback provided it is constructive and is done in a mature and professional manner. Feel free to joke around a bit and have some fun. That's what it's all about anyway. It's a very positive and fairly active thread. Users often give me feedback which is incredibly valuable and also post pics of any bug fixes. That allows me to quickly address issues.
First things first to any mods who may be peeping it is important to note that I am complying with xda rules and there are zero paid direct links posted anywhere in this thread by me. PixTerial
This is PixTerial. This theme is what happens when you combine Pixel Ui with some Material Design and add in some darkness! It's a very clean theme with subtle animations, with an inverted ui of the Pixel Ui. Now throw in some fresh and fun iconography and you have a beautiful theme to enjoy.
Remix Theme And Vector Theme
Remix was the very first theme by a third party non LG employee and I am very happy with the response it's received.[/SIZE]
I made Remix without even having the device which is pretty cool. I essentially worked completely blind on it and it turned out great I think. Remix isn't just a color flip hex change of stock theme. Hell anyone can do that! Remix is a dark theme with rich blue accents and tones throughout with a strong attention to the details that matter the most while still holding a minimal and clean look. It has hand drawn icons which were meticulously thought out to go great with your existing icons. No other theme has done this. With Remix you get quality and consistent updates and quick fixes when needed. Remix is fun, unique and original.
Here's some screen shots of the theme.

Vector Theme
Vector is a dark theme with red accents, tones and shadows throughout. Vector is a pixel perfect theme built with a strong emphasis on the vector drawable system. This means that all glyphs will look stunning and the attention to detail is exceptional. The highest quality of originally drawn images can only be found in Vector. You will not find anything like it anywhere else. Like Remix, Vector is the only other theme that has original hand drawn iconography throughout it with a material feel to it that can easily blend in with your regular icons. The details are like eye candy and something to show off to your friends. It is a premium theme that is bold, clean and unique. Vector pushes the envelope and experiments with things you simply won't find from other designers. Original concepts and ideas start here.

A theme that makes you feel relaxed and enjoy the light side of things. Remix light utilizes code based glyphs for a pixel perfect style that is of the highest resolution. More hand crafted iconography throughout the overlays make for a pleasant user experience. Remix light give you that total perfection you've come to know from other projects. Remix light continues where Vector left off and pushes the envelope on what can be done in a theme and builds on new original ideas and unheard of concepts that has yet to be done by anyone else. You will be introduced to some of the most intricate, dynamic and challenging code based images that have ever been done or attempted.

Crush
I'm going to tell you a story. Close your eyes because you're about to embark on a journey of the senses that everyone will be talking about. Let your eyes guide you through the zest from the freshly grated oranges as you dabble into a marriage where darkness dances with the brightness of the fire. A premium theme aged to perfection with no added preservatives or gluten. You will find that only the freshest, high quality colors and elements have been meticulously chosen in order to provide you with the most dazzling experience. Open your eyes and take a trip like no other. This theme has been inspired by a long time friend and mentor Darryl Dillon. Pixel Ui
Need a new theme??? ...............Like new new?
The world's first LG theme with true material keyboard new?
Welcome to Pixel Ui. This is my take on the Pixel color pallet. What you will find is the high standards and attention to the small details that you have come to expect from my designs. I believe I have preserved the look quite nicely in a soothing and all familiar style that deep down you have longed for. So let's transform your phone into something new.
This is not a 100% complete replica of every element of the Pixel as there are limitations to what can be done in a light theme. There are a few elements such as the quick settings that must remain light. I have pushed this theme as far as it can be pushed and no other designer would even attempt such a difficult style. You will also see the first ever material style keyboard on presented via LG keyboard. Many have attempted but not achieved the correct look. These high standards are what I set for myself to give you the best possible experience and the highest quality of themes and support.
Here's some screen shots of the theme.

Dark Nougat
Welcome to Dark Nougat. A crisp, dark nougat style theme with teal accents that is simply stunning. You will find exceptional attention to detail and just the right amount of darkness to be able to take in the shadows and depth of material design.
This is a dark material style theme for The LG system apps accented in a teal ensemble. You will find an incredibly refreshing crisp, clean look with a familiar material tone and stock nougat style icons to enhance your user experience. You can expect to see dark tones with subtle dark material accents throughout . Please keep in mind that this is only for LG System apps and does not support third party apps. If you wish to have third party apps themed you will need to use alternative methods.
Stock LG launcher is recommended for best results! Third party launchers may present issues with applying the icons.

You seem to be planning on a lot of themes
I can't wait to see what's to come!
(and I really need to set up my Google Play payment method again so I can actually buy some of these)

I use XDA Labs (using it right now). But I'm a little confused what you mean. (guess XDA doesn't like strike through. I figured it out)
I used to have PayPal, and that was my payment method, but they decided to shut down student accounts, so i need to figure something else out.

I would love something as simple as colorizing the emoji icon subjects that are ontop the Google keyboard. Nevermind the red circles.
I prefer the clean/crisp looking themes, not the red/green/blued out themes. However, I still did purchase all of your themes.
