If wifi is not working after first boot just reboot new scriptp will autofix.
If you boot to a blank screen and it stays there more than a minute or so after the kexec vibrate you need to reboot to SafeStrap switch to stock and boot it (optionally uninstall and reinstall recovery from the SafeStrap app). Then reboot and select your ROM slot and it should boot fine.

Has a decent amount of customization

Crap, so did I, and I forgot to load gaps on it before I flashed.
I had downloaded this from a post on twitter from droid life but there wasn't a link for the gaps.

Thank you! I have been using Liquid on my RAZR since RC1, and it is fantastic.

Just loaded this up & it is sweet! Now I'm all kexec in all 3 ROM slots.

Liquid Smooth ROM
Great ROM, truly enjoying all the customized options. I'm only having one problem, I can't get WiFi to work. It will turn on but it won't pick up any networks. Any help with this is greatly appreciated.

Bootloop
Hi,
I installed on rom slot 3..I am on Jb.. The latest ota..
I have ss3.11.. I get only a blank screen after flashing the rom and the gapps on slot 3.
I tried wiping the cache as well.
Should I be on ICS kernel?
Any suggestions?

A ROM that we want it to be. Smooth. The features. Creativity. Without those in the credits in the box, i guess, you won't see this ROM being a combo.
What is Xylon?
A Generally based of many kinds of features around the Android Development and fits into minimal customization. It may act up like AOKP, but totally not at all. Overall, we're still in work in progress state of changing the base to slightly minimal like FNV before. This ROM is built off with GCC 4.7, O3, Linaro Strings enabled. (Galaxy Nexus Kernel, fusion with anarkia's horn, O3 and Linaro GCC 4.7.3 enabled.). Feature list will be available in the 2nd post. Changelogs. We don't usually write up but we will starting builds of 2.2. Again, it's a kang - kang - kang -o-rama ROM! ;D
P.S.S **** off fanboys. We're doing this for fun.

Strange enough, trwp doesn't allow me to flash this. I thought it was a bad download, so I downloaded it twice. Same thing happened. Bad upload?

Any idea when a good zip will be uploaded. I am quite anxious to try this out.
Probably at the end of the day.. He doesn't have a stable internet connection hence the corrupted upload.
Is this rom a go now? or still corrupted download?
Let's just wait for the OP to update us when he is ready.
I can get it to download but it won't copy to my SD card
Hmm.. I read on google+ that dax is Abit busy with school at the moment. So guys, just chill out and wait for him to reupload the rom.
i can download the rom from goo.im and save it to my sdcard
If you guys are impatient, you can google for the ManelScout4Life version. But it will be different from the OP's version.
The rom is a go. I'm using it now and it will not be different from Dax build. After downloading use a md5 checker to make sure download is good before trying to redownload.

Just don't forget to install Superuser and change "Root access" in the developer options else you won't be able to give apps root access

yes, install is always same, wipe data&cache and install zip. every rom zip formats system, so you dont need wipe system too. i also not recommend wipe system.

Some more things that people might wonder/or not..
- GPS does not work (any workarounds?)
- Photosphere: the one posted on the slimroms homepage doesn't work, however this one on xda works http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2116851
- WIFI seems to be dropping quite often in quite irregular intervals. Haven't had that with other custom roms yet.
Tried it and went back to "CARBON-JB-UNOFFICIAL-20131009-1902-serranoltexx.zip" in less than an hour. I simply did not find a reason to chose slim over carbon. Carbon rom is just so perfect :good::good: Setting layout in carbon is hands down 10x more intuitive. Moreover I noticed that battery drained much faster in heavy use with slim rom in comparison to carbon.

Sure man . I meant no harm. I even donated additional amount to arco68 to show my gratitude for supporting S4 mini LTE. I was not even addressing issues that do not work. Carbon just feels more intuitive and easy to me, and this introduces no over the top features that I need, but its just me .

So far I am loving the rom so much. I almost pee'd my myself with how awesome this rom is. Its been awhile and a lot of new features have been added since.
But unfortunately I ran into two issues, and one I can't get by:
-Camera does not work, neither on Slim gapps or PA gapps. I even tried flashing the CM camera and still no go. Any thoughts?
-Camera gesture from off screen is the only gesture that works, double-tap and the others do not work and there is no section in settings for them.

+1 here as well! I am very impressed with the work done here and CAN NOT wait for the Camera function to work to be able to make this my DD!
Thanks again and look forward to the update.
Tried the latest build that just came out.
-Flashed with Slim Gapps
-Flashed with PA Gapps
-Flashed with no gapps
All following the instructions in the opening and camera does not work in all instances.
Not sure what else to try.
Hello,
I tryed to flash this rom, but after 3 full wipe + flash , I have the same problem : Bootloop on the OSE boot animation, the screen go 100% brigthness, and go down, and this in loop
Is there a theme changer in this rom ? I mean slim removed the theme changer .. I like the CM11 theme changer
@xTremePower
Did you wipe system? Are you using PA gapps?
---------- Post added at 04:09 PM ---------- Previous post was at 04:08 PM ----------
Yes, but camera doesn't work yet
DEFINITELY gonna try this as soon as cam works. Does 30th release fix that?
One more question: Does it include Hover (I much prefer over heads up or Halo)
WIP but impressive
Installed this ROM. Ive figured why a lot of folks say it gets stuck on bootloop.
I notice it takes 5-7 minutes to boot this ROM. Not sure why, but wondered why so many init.d tweaks are enabled by default. does zipaligning all apks take the time?
Have to say: AWESOME array of tweaks, and sound mod is just amazing. Kudos to the dev.
Not stable yet. I get random reboots (and yes about 7 minutes to restart each time), and a working camera is a must.
I look forward to bug fixes in updates
I never got and boot loops or random reboots, the only reason I am not running this rom is because of the camera.

Its only on the first boot, right? The camera is the only reason why I am not running it. Is it working for you?

To get double tap to wake to work:
1) download this or the attachment (extract it)
2) using your favorite root browser copy it to /etc/init.d
3) change permissions to rwxr-xr-x
4) change file name --> delete the .bin extension
5) reboot
Saw a note this would be coming the other day, great to have yet another solid rom arriving on this device! Thanks so much!!
Downloading now
giving this another go hopefully i get the double tap to wake going this time.
I don't mean to jump with the thread being so new. Does this rom have standard asop bluetooth and volume issues?
Where do we find the Gapps ?

Nice, never tried/heard of OSE before but can't wait to give it a try. Thanks for bringing it over to our device!

Cool! I've ran OSE before and loved it!
big question: I'm at work and can't download and flash now, however, has anyone tried the BlueTooth calling to see if it works?
That seems to be the biggest hangup with AOSP at the moment, as well as intermittant laser focusing for the camera. Otherwise, can't wait to try it!
:cyclops:
One of my Favs!
Thanks for bringing this to our device. I ran this more than any other ROM on my G2 and was hoping it would come to the G3. Anyone who is not downloading this due to the purple screenshots don't let that put you off as you don't have to use the purple and of course you have theme manager as well. This is one of the most feature rich ROMS there is. Definitely a must try for anyone who hasn't run it before.

that and an upgrade to the camera and i'm all over AOSP. I just got too damn used to getting great photos with stock LG camera. Any ideas on a better 3rd party camera for AOSP? I've tried Zoom FX and Google camera, but just seem to lack something

Don't quote me on this but I thought I've seen someone say that the LG xCam works on aosp ROMS. I would give that a try

I keep hearing that too, but even the OP states that it doesn't work for AOSP as it requires drivers that are not present.
oh-ba-wel-ba, i'll just keep trying other cameras if I want to use AOSP. Thanks anyway!
:cyclops:
@oadam11 big thanks buddy for making this for us...love me some OSE.
Also for other users asking about Gapps, though any kk Gapps can be used, I would recommend using Slim Gapps (the rom uses Slim as a base), and trds will function as it should. And STOP asking if bluetooth calling works (in any thread, not just this one)!! It's broken on all aosp builds. When one rom gets a fix, then let the OP know so that the fix can be implemented. Believe me, you'll know when its fixed - every aosp thread has this question plastered in it about 200 times, there will be no shortage of notifications on this issue.

How about the Cyanogen camera? I can't try it on a stock based rom but OSE is AOSP based so it might work well.

Was running vanir without a hitch and decided what the hay, I'll try it. All I can say is great job, think I'll stick with this for a while. One question tho, does this run on ART?

Stupid question but here it goes lol where do I find the slim gapps
Sent from my VS985 4G using Tapatalk
Couldn't get kk 4.4.x gapps to flash (said failed to flash) so I started up anyway and it still worked fine...its an incredible ROM with infinite options and good speed to boot. My only real problem was not connecting to my WiFi at home....said problem authenticating even though I used wps push button and before that I tried the password. Other than that excellent job...this is my favorite as of now.

Congrats!
By any chance does the kernel support OTG+fast chsrging? I've used Desolation Rom in the past for a different device but don't recall if it did or not.

This certainly looks interesting! Can you have data/cache F2FS, or will that not work?

Thanks. I did see not F2FS, fwiw...just wasn't sure if that meant not all F2FS or none at all. Didn't want that to come off as a stupid question.

This will never be made for all F2FS. F2fs on system has little to no benefit anyway.

Very nice rom! Some cool extra features, good looking boot animation and I especially like that you chose layers. Just briefly looking around, I found that you can't select "none" or "swipe" (startup default is already swipe) for lockscreen in security settings. I never use a lockscreen, so I would definitely like to be able to disable it.
It appears that those 2 options are "disabled by administrator encryption policy or credential storage", which is what the ghosted out message reads under those selections.
As always, thanks for your work.

We've been hard at work backtracking that issue. Enjoy!

Thanks, great to see at least some devs have not ditched this device, which is still OK peace of hardware.
Though appetites have grown, and most users now want 4GB to feel comfortable...
