From what all I have read and from what I understand, the answer is no, not until the official JB is released will there be a working TW for any JB roms

There is a tw launcher floating around for download ........maybe in the theme and apps section

The jellybam 7.3.0 version allows you to flash TW full, and xperia exoerience !
I am using it and is very stable. Flappjaxx 3.1.2 kernel also works fine with OC.

thanks for your response, I guess this bring me to the second question, it will really be an update for Jb for AT&T note, guess that been ask several times but really appreciated you response guys :cyclops:

Exactly... cm10.1 with just a touch wiz launcher
Is far from having a stock jelly bean firmware built for the note.
Fully functioning built in S-pen features?
Nope
No random reboots because we can finally build a jb kernel from source?
Nope

Chanses of Jelly Beans on LG P500

Till now we all know that Android 4.1 Jellybeans is in slot now. Even SDK is out. Sources are not on-line though. But I believe it will be very soon.
Now it's a big question whether LG P500 can hold Jellybeans or not? As fas as information on net concern Yes we can see JellyBeans on our beloved LG P500 As drivers are almost same so it wont be a big problem to port it in our phone. With only 5-6 major changes JB is almost same as ICS. Some new features are there in JB like Google NOW, Off-line voice text is very cool about JB.
So in short we will see JB as soon as they release source codes.
If you find anything interesting you guys can post here so that we can have faith that LG P500 will have JB.
Happy Hacking.
JB on P500
Of course me and every O1 owner will more than glad to see Jelly Bean to be ported to it.We have stable ICS on our device and if JB is ported then our device will become the most worthy phone of all.
"COME ON DEVS"!!!:good:
Hope we can see Jelly Bean in our device, hope devs can do it as they ported ICS
Sources should be out by mid July according to Google.
Sent from my LG-P500 using xda premium
I think that without sources no one could tell you if it is possible or not. Let's wait for sources to be available.
Woots, that would be brilliant.

I do not think porting will help in case of P500. So many things will be broken. We have only CM9 libs and binaries so it won't help that much. But build from sources will be a great option.
I think google now and offline voice will be in the next gapps, which I am sure will work on ICS

[Q]Noob 4.2.1 port from N4

I would have to say no; otherwise it would have been done by now. Kernels are incompatible, can't use an ICS kernel with JB and vice versa. Pretty sure the kernel is the only hold up for us getting a whole bunch of new ROMs.

Let me know if you try other ones and get them to work. Maybe we can start a new thread directing people where to get them.
Edit: inverted ES file explorer works and looks awesome!

What he meant is that the Nexus 4's kernel is incompatible. We have a booting JB kernel for the Korean leaks that works fine. Problem is, we don't have source yet, so devs are limited in the resources for either porting the Nexus 4 kernel, or building JB roms until we have source, then it will be a lot easier.
And basically that won't happen until we get JB for stock? Damn all these terms are so confusing lol

Nope. Here. So right now we have the Korean JB leaks, and they boot. Devs can try using that kernel and what else we have to build JB, but that is hard. We can also try and port the Nexus 4 stuff, but once the source for Korean JB comes out we can work on JB and build it much easier. We don't actually need JB on our phones, or any phone, just JB source from Korea, US, or whatever comes first.

Like nygfan said above me, we could get the update and still not have the source. The source is the raw, unencrypted file(s) that the kernel was built from. Without that, it is tough to do much with the kernel because we can't read it.
(somebody correct me if I am wrong, that is how I have always understood it.)
So here's a questions I've been thinking about. I want to root and install Nocturnal so I can get de-bloated, Google Now, etc. However, I don't want to be stuck on ICS if JB is officially released in the U.S. prior to a CM or other JB based custom ROM (I know sometimes allowing an OTA can mess up your root, or at least I think I know that). So here's the question: Should I go ahead and root / install Nocturnal? Or is there a possibility that we will get a JB OTA prior to a custom development? Grassy Ass!

I would suggest rooting.
You can enjoy all there is for now in Noc and we do not know when the JB update is coming out.
Any OTA's will probably break root, but usually a dev can take it and root it before it is installed and make a .zip.
Most likely we will actually see JB sooner on rooted devices than stock ones (assuming there is a leak that will work on ours).
If the OTA DOES come out sooner, I give it a week before a .zip is posted... and that seems too long to me.

Right, without kernel source it's just basically changing values based on guesses with a few bricked devices in between. We could probably get JB without JB software source if we just had a good JB kernel for our device. We could always port JB, much harder to port a kernel.

Whether it's by means of malicious intent, excessive trolling, a lack of memory, or just plain old not caring enough to pay attention...you just happen to be wrong. This, or something like this was all the rage back in the day....because it not only allowed for the Touchwiz launcher, and all the extra S3 goodies, but it also enabled access to all the stock touchwiz widgets, including obscure ones like the AccuWeather, digital clock, days, meetings, task list, and other ones. To my knowledge, this not be the exact .zip to flash, and it hasn't been tested outright with things like Crayon Physics, SMemo, and SNote. But It'd definitely be worth the effort.
So here it is: Touchwiz for AOSP ROMs. (Jellybean only, as far as I know...however, I can't see a reason it wouldn't work on 4.2. I also can't see a reason why it would.
http://rootzwiki.com/topic/32894-s3-touchwiz-jelly-bean-addon/
Because they seem to have proliferated, you'll have to spend some time with our favorite pal Google The Search Engine. Don't even bother here, however. Since your clueless, and all, I'll tell you right away...the XDA search function is so hairy, it's unlikely to help you find anything unless you know EXACTLY what you're looking for. Simple topic and keyword searches will net you a cute case of tendonitis, and a days with the Carp O' Tunnel.
Here's another link to check out, it should give you the additional information that you're looking for. Just make sure you find a MOD, and not a ROM. Because if you flash a ROM, I can almost guarantee you'll soft brick your device. Your much more likely to find stuff for the International Note than find a mod for our Note specifically. Just remember , there were no ROMs like this made for our device, ever....so your looking for "MOD"s. And our device begins with the numbers/letters SGH-i717, also known as the ATT Galaxy Note.

CM vs. Stock Android = two completely different roms. I want to use the CM 10.1 roms, but they don't have working BT audio yet. Maybe this phone's rom will help them get it working? The GPE rom will get tweaked and modded by the htc one community and hopefully those will be easily ported to the dna. Sense is cool and all, but I would like to free up some space on my stupid 16gb of non-expandable storage more than anything. Heck it might even get better battery life without all that htc stuff running in the background? Keeping my fingers crossed. :good:
There are plenty of stock roms. Not necessarily pure aosp, but there's cm amongst many other roms. And they are all about 99% working.

Right, but isn't that still just a developmental progress? I would love CM as well but I don't think they have a stable release yet.

Ravike is working on the sense 4.5 and I'm working on sense 5.
The kernel is taking longer than expected, mostly beacuse he has taught himself how to work on the kernel, and has had a lot of help from sebastianfm, but repeated attempts to get help from well known other kernel devs have ignored his questions.
Hey!

Is miui based on aosp?
You might be able to use cm or Jeepers stuff to help get data.

[QUOTE=_Le0.
You need to add your RIL to telephony-common.jar. So decompile your base telephony-common take all smali with RIL and phonefactory.smali and add to MIUIs then recompile
