Nope. Happens to everybody. It's even probably for the best to just leave that feature alone.

Search much?

I know someone that works for LG, and he said LG phones are great, they just have one problem. Overheating. I just hope it doesn't get too hot during winter, it might crack the back glass.

If it did the same thing with a stock rom, it might be a problem with the phone. I'm using the i605 and I've been on beans build 10 and i have never had a delay problem.
How long is the delay usually?
The delay is almost un noticable. I would guess less than half a second. But there is a slight delay.

It's also well known and been asked a lot. Under display unchecked the auto adjust screen seems to help. Ultimately though it's just how the note 2 is and will (for now) always be there.

It's been talked about on the One x forums with the blame being directed towards jellybean. I don't know if this is true or not but what I was lead to believe.

Well then even if that's the problem I guess we get to live with it. I know it's been talked about a lot here too. Never heard it was JB.
Oh well I'm far from important enough to need my phone so fast that a half second delay is gonna be a problem.

Thanks for your replies. I am not really annoyed by this. It only seems to do it when the phone has been at idle for a while. Its not something I would knock this phone for. This things a beast so I can live with a tiny delay. Haha. Thanks again and hope that maybe itll get fixed in either official 4.2 or maybe key lime

i got rid of the unlock delay by disabling the lock screen...been using my n2 this way for a month now. no pocket dialing or anything random...actually dont think i could go back to using a lock screen.
afaik it's an exynos issue. you can do a few things to get the most out of it, but the processor will always take a second to pull itself out of deep sleep.

Can someone please tell me what they think this is?

I noticed this when I had the screen tilted and it was booting up. Is it dead pixels? It's weird cuz it's only on the edge and can only be seen when the screen is tilted on a bright background.

I think that's the backlight. Might want to compare it to other One's to see if it's universal or a defect.

I don't have an HTC One (yet) but that's what it seems to be.

Mine doesn't seem to have it.

I don't know if I'd call it a defect or not. You can't tell it's there unless you tilt the screen and look for it. I just hope whatever it is it doesn't get worse.

Screen guard

Hello everyone
I didn't have screen guard installed but only the protective covering. Now it is scratched a lot and I wanna change it. Can I simply remove it and then install a new screen guard? And do non-stickey screen guards come for our phone? Even with least amount of sweat, screen gets sticky and its impossible to move finger over it. Any suggestions?
By non sticky I meant kinda ones we have on s3 and iphones
Yeah, You can simply remove it. Xperia x10 has something like plastic screen, so it will always be sticky and will stop responding with water on it

Dont we have some non sticky screen guard? I asked some people but they said no...
I never changed that but I think there's no non sticky protection for our screens. Even on my sgs2 it's still sticky

It becomes very annoying if you are playing game without ac in summers when screen starts sticking. I am a hardcore gamer and whenever ibsit for gaming, 2 hours easily pass
Buy iGloves
Nah, I'm just joking, You can't do anything. Maybe there's some special screen protection without this effect but I don't know. If Google doesn't help You then nothing can

How do you open the phones back?

I got a new vibrator and tried unscrewing the back of the phone (6 screws) but the red back is not coming off easily and I'm afraid I would break something. Any tips on how to remove the back correctly and safely?
Thanks

Where'd you get the new vibrator? I'm in need of one. Mine is almost shot and I can barely feel my phone most of the time.
