Anybody else find it curious that neither ATT nor HTC will comment on this color? It seems like you would earn the respect of more people if you provided an ETA or something to at least let people know where, and when this color will be available...
I keep seeing everyone talk about and get their Silver, and while the Silver is nice, I'd rather not have an Android Book Pro phone. Stealth Black is so crazy, and the idea of having a B-2 Bomber or F-117a in my pants is highly enticing.
That said, who else is holding out for Black, and how long will you wait, or have you heard anything about availability?

Yeah, don't trust it though. If I don't see something from ATT/HTC, I'm not going to trust Costco. I love Costco, don't get me wrong. But even Best Buy pulled down their Stealth Black for ATT...

Mike S.: AT&T customers will be able to preorder the Silver HTC One on April 4, 2013.* The 32GB model will be $199.99 with a two-year commitment and the 64GB model will be $299.99 with a two-year commitment. The Silver model will be available in store on April 19th and availability on the Black model is still TBD. Customers who pre-order an HTC One are eligible to get a Free** Media Link HD wireless HDMI adaptor.Note: Due to supply constraints the Black HTC One will not be available for preorder.

Att corporate stores do not, yet I went to three in Houston , their Samsung reps have brought one in for demo and testing but thats it I'm sure the closer to the 17th they will be there

I held the Carbon Blue mock up at BB. Couldn't believe they didn't have a white one.
After all the hype and reviews about how gargantuan this thing was, when I saw it I was like, "that's not that big, WTH!". After having a Skyrocket for a month it really didn't seem overly huge to me.
Ok so it seems like all best buys have dummies. Good to know, does anyone know when to the last to preorder to get it by the 17th is?

Yes I tried the dummy version at Bestbuy and compared it to my dell streak. Not much difference in size but thickness for the Note was much thinner.

$170 at Walmart on contract seems pretty good if you don't have the Best Buy $50 deal. The "Accessory Kit" from Costco I'm sure is just garbage-y... pic is too low res to even see what's in it.
Keep in mind, activation is waived at Costco. $36.00 savings, so it's basically the same price as Walmart (+3 dollars)

That said, I just pre-ordered Stealth Black from Walmart as they are 1 of the 2 vendors doing it. Hoping something from ATT pops before the shipdate though, so I can scrap this order and get it from them as they have a far superior return policy.
Costco link doesn't work. When I add the phone to my cart, it works, but when I checkout, it says my cart is empty. Anyone else having this issue?

Just a heads up to those with grandfathered unlimited data, I tried to upgrade a year ago with Costco but they were unable to retain my plan so I didn't go through with it. Hopefully, they are able to now.

Well, walmart let me pre-order today. Costco was one of the other few places that kept their Stealth Black orders open. It's possible that they were only allotted a certain amount, that or they fudged up. Regardless, I placed my order with walmart. Going to see how things turn out on the official release date, and if there is no traction on it, I'll be cancelling and waiting for ATT.
Are there any employees of any wireless carrier that can comment on the availability of the black version? Anyone seen a memo or shipment allotment for their particular employer? I was hoping to get a black one but might have to go with silver

Wait dude. If you honestly want silver, then do it. But if you are excited about black, and want that more, then go for it. Otherwise wait, you'll be happier.

i just saw a link for the wal-mart pre-order and was wondering if you got information on the capacity of the one you ordered? i didnt see any mention of capacity in the wal-mart description. however, im assuming its 32GB since they have it for $169.99!

Just the 169 Stealth Black they offered. Haven't received an update email yet. I'll see what happens. Will give them til the 20th to update.
I have been dying to get this phone, especially because I am waiting to switch to ATT from Sprint to get this phone. I want the Glacial Silver but none of the stores have gotten any stock or know anything about it and the website still only has the Gunmetal. Bestbuy has the silver for ATT as "coming soon" but I have no idea if I should trust best buys website. Anyone heard anything about the silver ATT branded one?
Im suprised no one has heard anything at all. It seems like the Gunmetal is so popular no one is concerned with the SIlver for the small minority of us who prefer it.

I am considering this but the upfront cost is a bit much to stomach as a broke grad student.

How did you get them to tell you this? I have been talked to a couple store managers and a telesales manager and they all have no idea and say they won't know it's coming in until a day or two before it launches which could be months away they seem to think. The 25th is a bit far away but it's better than not knowing at all when it's coming so I hope it's true.

I just told her I was planning to port my numbers from Verizon to AT&T and wanted to see if there way any way to get it sooner. She said no. 4/25 is when it will be released on all channels. Who knows if she really had that information but that is what she told me.

It's hard to say. I saw someone over on androidcentral forums posted ATT reps gave him exact same date, so unless that was you posting over there as well under a different name then 2 different people have been told by ATT it's coming on the 25th. I don't know why some reps have this info and others have literally no idea when it is coming, so your guess is as good as mine at this point.
I just got an email back from an AT&T executive manager in sales planning. They do not have details on the silver M8. This means there is no release date set.

I bought the unlocked glacial si;ver directly from HTC and received it but I started reading posts about how AT&T Visual Voice Mail doesn't work on the unlocked device so I decided to return it. I know I could use Google Voice for Voicemail but I tried it on my current phone and it seems flaky. Plus, I don't want to go back and forth between HTC and AT&T if I have problems with the unlocked device on ATT. I can see ATT blaming the fact that I have an unlocked phone causing any netowrk problems. I don't need that headache. I guess I'll wait for the Silver One on AT&T whenever that may be. I did stop by a corporate store today and the sales rep said there is currently no SIlver One in their system. Nothing we already didn't know.

Yea there has only been 1 HTC One M8 for ATT gone through and it doesn't specify the color, so since Grey and Gold are both out then that doesn't really give any information. If there isn't any info at all about release does that mean it is pretty far out? Like if it were coming out in the next week there would be some information available? Or is it possible it can just launch without any indication so theoretically it could be out by this Friday or next week sometime?

That totally crossed my mind when I saw it on both but I hoped it wasn't you since that means it is just slightly more evidence to a specific date. I would definitely take that reps comment with a grain of salt since no one else at ATT seems to have access to any dates, I can't imagine one rep has something that not everyone has access too.
Does anyone know anything about the S6 Edge coming to the USA in green emerald? I've done some searching on the web and it seems like it's a huge question mark. It may or may not come, and if it does, it may or may not be carrier-specific.
I have not pre-ordered this phone through best buy to get the free charger because I am waiting to hear news about the Green version that is so far, not being offered. I really can care less about getting the free wireless charger, when it may be worth it to wait an extra month or two, to get the color that I want.

US markets are only getting black, and white versions with the exception of at&t, and T-Mobile that are getting the gold/platinum version as well. As for other colors, it just doesn't look good for any time soon.
What country will be receiving the green version?

I personally preordered in the martian green with the silver spine. I placed the order shortly after pre-sale went live, while watching GoT. I can't wait to get my hands on new tech, i have been very impressed with my s10+ and hope to have a better experience with the fold.

I got Martian Green with the gold spine. I figure a futuristic phone would look cool in a funky color. I specifically wanted the gold spine and it's only available with blue and green. The carriers are only selling black and silver with a grey and silver spine so I figure those will be the most common combinations. CNET just posted 70 hands-on pics and a lot of them are green. I don't regret my choice..

Gotta pay to play....and the crease is likely a result of first gen tech, I'm sure it will improve. That said, most reviewers are saying it fades out of sight as you continue to use it...much like a notch.

Seems like there was more demand than everyone expected. I just so happen to check my email on a whim and saw the Pre-orders now open link. It was an hour after they sent them out too. Once I saw that some colors were already gone I figured they were selling fast. Didn't expects those numbers though

Right now its only AT&T and Tmobile. It's possible they will release the phone to other carriers later on with the 5g variant. They still haven't said much about that model

I'm planning on buying a pre-paid T-Mobile SIM, load it up with $100 worth of minutes/data, and then request an official unlock code from T-Mobile, as per their unlocking policy. Then I'll test out my Verizon SIM. Verizon is shutting down it's CDMA network at the end of the year, so as long as the Fold can handle LTE bands 2/4/5/13/66, it should hopefully be able to work on Verizon. If it ends up not working, I guess I'll be getting a refund from Samsung.

You can get a refund from Samsung if the device is returned to them within 15 days, as long as it's in like-new condition. https://www.samsung.com/us/mobile/phones/standard-device-trial-policy/
But if for some reason they won't accept the return, I'll just sell it on eBay.
I also ordered a Martian Green with a Gold Hinge. I know that there will be many shortcomings with the Fold but I just couldn't resist. I do love being an early adopter and with that being said if I am totally dissatisfied with the Fold, I'll return it and just use my Note 9 until the N10 comes out. I think that I'm going to really like this phone and I'm so anxious to get it and hopefully won't want to return it.
On another note, when I ordered on Samsung.com, I took screenshots of each page as I ordered. Only the final confirmation page **did not** state the Martian Green color, only the gold hinge color. Also, my confirmation emails didn't show the Martian green color either (and the Shop Samsung app doesn't).
Did anyone else have this same experience? I chatted with two different Samsung Agents (one today, one yesterday) and they were worthless. Coldn't find any information. The one tonight said to wait until they are in stock to verify. WTH?!?

Yeah i believe evryones is like this who ordered from Samsung . On mine it just shows hinge color as well. Ive even seen screenshots of others preorder and its the same. So no need to freak :good:
Anyone cancelling there pre order work all these fold units problems? I'm wondering whether to cancel it or if becomes big if Samsung going to hault the fold

I'm hoping these are isolated cases. I did read it has a protective film on the inside that is Not to be removed but you better damn well tell the public about it FIRST!
