1. You have to get CID from your sd card in HTC Mozart or buy one and get CID by gold card helper from android market. Then u can assembly this card into HTC.
2. Make gold card iso by http://psas.revskills.de/?q=goldcard - don't forget about choose Windows Mobile 7
3. Use gold card tool to make gold card
4. Put attachment (Mozadiag.nbh into root of your gold card
5. Turn phone into usb host mode and plug Y-cable with gold card
6. Put phone on desk and press Vol down, when it's done you can restart Mozart.
Bon apetit
Sorry for my english

Is it possible to do that without a goldcard? I have rooted my phone and I'am using deepshining WP7,8 rom. The screen is ****ed up. I cant do nothing. It's very unresponsible... Any help?

Sorry but if you try without gold card you will see only "Not allow" on screen. Trust me i tried. Otherwise You can only give your phone to HTC support (warranty or pay if you don't have warranty)

MY HTC Mozart had terrible problem with freeze / unresponisve. I tried custom Rom, change driver V69 to V63 and change registry value and none of this helped. When i calibrated with this methed- mozart works like a charm.

Nothing will change that U can see. Touch driver will be the same. It's hardware calibrate (some of PCB main don;'t have factory calibrate so people have this problem.)

Help...
The site with goldcard generator is down

I have a problem...where is my mistake
1. add SD card in android device...
2. take CID with GoldCard Helper
3. move card from android to card reader
4. generate goldcard.img with gcard.exe ( gcard -c "CID" -o goldcard.img)
(I`m try with "-r" option too, and have the same problem with that goldcard.img)
5. In GoldCard Tools Load GoldCard.img and Patch MMC
6. Copy MOZADIAG.nbh to SD card
7. Enter usb host mode (Vol-, Camera + Power)
8. Connect card reader to Phone with Y cable.
9. Phone write out three times "Cheking..." and finished with "No Allow"

That's work great, but before flashing be sure to back up everything.
And have a good sd card adpater i bought it, just using the usb dongle : http://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/B003ZL0B3W/ref=oh_details_o03_s01_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
And i used this tutorial to create my gold card
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1597837
With another dongle i had "not allowed".
thanks again!

It seems Multi-Port/USB TTY Vesion 1.11 is usable on XDA2

Multi-Port/USB TTY is a software for HTC's PDA connect to bootloader console mode without a serial cable.
I did test the 1.11a version on my XDA2 and I can enter the Bootloader console mode and dump the rom to the SD Successfully!
It seems we don't need serial cable anymore!
BTW, is it ok to upload this utlity?
HI,
Where can i find it?
THe utility is here.
1. Kill the microsoft activesync beforce use it.
2. Backup your machine before use this utility, because this process will erase all of your data.
3. boot the machine into bootloader mode (hold the Power and directional pad , then push reset)
4. Run the rompdate utility, select the comport as "wceusb001" or something like that as the default comport.
In the terminal windows, you can do whatever you want, such as backup the CE rom to SD Card :
1. Put a useless >32M SDram in your XDA2, all data on the card will be erased.
2. In the terminal windows, enter "d2s" command and wait for your device copy the CE rom to the SD.
You don't need to buy serial cable anymore.

My bootloader is 1.02 probably it's broken. only s2d the command is recognize (but fail to make the actual backup ) the rest of the command give an error. I even try to put the password in but still no luck. Do you mind sharing the 1.01 bootloader ( http://www.xs4all.nl/~itsme/download/savebootloader.exe) ? Any clue on installing/replacing it ?

I found it at http://www.xs4all.nl/~itsme/projects/xda/versions.html
But probably need to ask XDA developer Itsme he is the one who created the apps.
Just out of curiosity, if you don't mind could you check if your bootloader v 1.01 is fully implement. At least on the help level. You could go to bootloader screen (BACKUP first ) and type in:
password BOOTLOADER
h full
It should return the full help screen.
I done it successful.

NOW, I have backup the rom to my SD card and how can i copy it from my SD card to my pc ?
It always said that the card is UNFORMATED..
great works for me 2
How can we extract the rom back-up from the SD card to the Hard Drive in an img file??
cheers,
Yann
use a hex editor
use a hex editor (like winhex) to copy it from sd (tools/disk tools/clone disk - then choose your SD and the target file name)
of course to do this a card reader needed
what should be also considered before making your backup to SD is filling the card with zero bytes (windows formatting won't do the trick - use winhex again)
not doing this means you'll have tons of rubbish on the card following your backup...
and one more comment: are you 100% sure that "d2s" will copy the ENTIRE rom image? on ipaqs you need to give the start address, as "d2s 0"...

how to :
1. copy diskimg and da EXTROM to your SD card
2. press camera + soft reset button and wait for the upgrading complete (should be for 20 - 25 minutes)
it's from Master Helloworld1
enjoy
i dont understand.. coz da external was format .iso. where place that i should put the dimning and externalrom exactly?? can you give som instruction in easy way? huhu please forgive for my bad english.. im javanist huhuhu
when you use activesycn open da storage card and just put da diskimg.iso and ExtendedRom.iso in it (not in a folder) and then do the step 2
done.. but it not work..
the screen just display like this :
MN1 Bootloader bla.. bla..bla..
SD/MMC card detected..
starting download...
SD transfer completed.
i waiting about an hour but nothing change, and i press the soft reset it return to older rom (kumara).. is that my step were wrong?
when you put da two files on SD card and you press da camera + soft reset button as i told u, your atom screen should look like this :

i dont know.. after i press button camera and soft reset in da same time
the screen become like you attach but i said sd transfer complete. it dont mention how percent upgrade it.. is that because my activsncy?
for your information, because im using window seven, my pc cannot support activesny. im using window mobile device center to syncronise my phone, tnrsfer pic, document and other stuff.. if i put the exendrom and diskming in external rom and not in storage card. what could happen??
diskimg.iso or diskimg.nb0?? because after i done download it the extention were .nb0 not .iso..
here it is, da full step for upgrading your atom addean 7469:
1. Copy da files contains diskimg.nb0 and ExtendedRom.img from Helloworld1 to SD card via activesycn,
if u use a card reader that would be great. Just remember to put those two files in da storage card (but not in a folder) like this :
2. Press camera + soft reset button and wait for the upgrading complete (should be for 20 - 25 minutes).
when u see your atom screen like this :
Wait until da process completed and u see da clean boot screen then u have made it.

SDXC card not working in GS3

My friend got a 64gb micro SDXC card, and it won't work in his phone. It says:

He is running CM10.1 23/3 nightly. I put the SD card in my stock 4.1.1 note 2 and it recognised and formatted it fine. Put it back in his and nothing.

Aaaaaaaaand I've got a card reader, tried formatting it to FAT32 via two methods.
guiformat.exe (admin)
fat32format (command line)
The error im getting is GetLastError()=32. This error means that my SD card is being used by some other process but i cant for the life of me find where it's being used...
If you have access to a Windows system, you'd be better using that. I've got a 64Gb card and I had to format it with Win7. It was exfat.
If you don't, you could always take it with you to a local pc store and try to format when no clerks are watching

Holy moly i know all this
Thank you forum but the information I'm trying to obtain is a way to locate and stop the process that is using my card and preventing me from formatting to FAT32 (which btw isnt an option in Windows >right click 'format', hence guiformat.exe)
Use GParted!
For a FAT32 format on a >32GB MicroSD, may I suggest that you run the GParted (Gnome Partition Editor) Live CD? It's free and it's usually the best way to fomat a microsd card (that's how I did it).
I know it's a rather simple operation, but at least with GParted you're formatting it the right way: no size limitations, proper partition table and initial sector layout, etc... Moreover, no pesky processes using your drive.
You don't have to install anything, just make a bootable USB disk, boot it from Startup, and launch GParted. Right-click and format to FAT32 (or whatever you want). It might sound complicated but it's dead simple. You only need:
The GParted LiveCD ISO
Tuxboot, to make the bootable USB
Both available at Sourceforge, quick and easy, and never run into formatting problems again with the crappy windows disk management gui and their useless limitations.
If you absolutely want to use Windows for this, there's one way you can check which process is using your card:
Download Process Explorer from Microsoft's website or Sysinternals
Click the Find menu, and choose Find Handle or DLL...
Type the file name (name of the file which is locked by some process.)
After typing the search phrase, click the Search button

What next my good man.
Run into some kind of problem. :/
read-only file system, also its flagged as boot?
Oh...
Okay, obvious questions first: are you using a USB card reader or a microsS -> SD adapter? If using the latter, careful with that little physical lock on the side of the adapter.
Also, is the card usable on your Note after having showed the error in CM?
But otherwise... well I remember the last time I had this issue, but you're not gonna like it. Usually an SD card reverts to read-only mode when something is really wrong with it, usually so you can pull out your data before it dies completely. But it's weird that a card would die so quickly.
For me it was a 64GB Sandisk SDXC, bought it when it was still pretty expensive, and, well, that read-only crap was kinda the end of it... The same night I got that error message I bought a new one :S
Usually those big 64GB ones have lifetime warranties on them if they're Sandisk, or this other huge brand (Lexar I think?). So even if it's messed up you can get a new one!
Anyways I hope I'm wrong, please do tell if you have found a solution, or if you try anything new !
Eh...
I am using both at the same time. SDXC > SD adapter (not locked on the side) > USB card reader.
The card is perfectly functional in non Cyanogen ROM's.
In Windows Explorer the card reads as 64GB.
In stock ROM's the card reads as 64GB.
There is nothing wrong with the card. So i guess ill be googling and learning about read-only filesystems now.
If its fixed i will report how i got it to work. If i cannot fix it i will be abandoning Cyanogen.
Thanks for all your help, i appreciate it.
:highfive:

*stares intently at my card reader*
*raises eyebrow*
*removes MicroSD from SD adapter*
*inserts MicroSD into conveniently provided port*
Well, i got it to work by taking it out of the adapter. It still claimed it was being used by a process so i did it through Gparted.
Put the card in my phone and its reading properly.
I guess thats the end of that chapter.

Hello everyone. I really need help with this problem and would be very grateful if you helped me.

That is the behavior of sandisk, is of low quality you might not believe this. Your data is corrupted. After bringing back the volume it may corrupt again.
That is the best options I have provided. I had SanDisk recovery tool but my system had crash severally. The best way is to use hirens boot cd.

If you have,
1. digital camera insert it to check storage.
2. Old phone that can read 32gb microsd can repair it.
I use these native methods to recover my staff.

Calling Windows CE geniuses!

I need some help fixing a windows CE based device, can someone please help? The manufacturer no longer supports the device
Basically I have a ancient digital back (sensor module for a camera), it is in 2 parts, there is the sensor with it's own serial number and a e-back (which is the computer part). I've had to change my e-back as mine developed a fault. The eback I use is second hand and not compatible because it has the serial of another sensor.
The eback only has 1 firewire port and 1 CF card slot. The manufacturer was able to perform allsorts of updates using the firewire port with their proprietory software, which they no longer have
I have tried the good old trick of putting total comander on the CF card but it is not detected.
Basically I need to figure out where the serial number is stored on the windows CE part and change it to match the sensor.
Happy to pay for help if I can get it working.
Can you please post pictures of the device. What is brand name? Do you have any pictures of the serial numbers
I can look in my developers tool box once I know more about the device.
Did you test the (cf card) because it sounds kinda like that part is not working. Do you have an adapter for the card it is possible that the card is incorrectly formatted or corrupted.

The device is a Leaf aptus 22 digital back. Leaf as a company no longer exists. The device has 1 cf card slot and 1 firewire port. The base os is windows ce but it boots up in their firmware. I need to access the base ce os to see what is going on. Is there a way? I tried all the variations of creating folders on the cf card corresponding to the cpu type, though I am not sure of the exact cpu, I tried all variants. The screen on the back is touch screen and the interface that loads onto it is custom. No CE interface is shown anywhere.

The Cf card slot works fine for shooting images onto. Just cant get it to boot total commander.
Pop off the battery and under the battery there should be some numbers I Would need to see that plz. The total commandor is most likely not compatible with windows ce.

Wow. Sorry for the late reply. I was looking everywhere in my dev tool box and I couldn't find anything that will help. The one way to access the "rom" is to install net 4.2 with visual studio 2018 on your p.c but that really only grants access to the apps and gives you the option to make your own apps. If you have had "Total Commandor" working before on the device it is most likely you was running an older version of the program wich can be accessed through the archives. Clean the battery terminals with a cue tip I see some general grit. This device is worth a lot of $ so it is of importance to be careful. I see that the device is Bluetooth capable of accessing the memory. I would always recommend using the fire wire port for debugging 1394. What is the computer or device you are using to connect to the leaf? I am wondering if the leaf has a debug mode. Check the manual if you have it sometimes there is a cd with the manual with some drivers on it. Thank you.
Not sure if visual studio will give me access to the part where the serial number is stored the company never provided any software to allow you access to the rom, they used to charge thousands of pounds for simple config changes
The firewire is used to push images to the laptop using their desktop software.
I mainly used it with mac osx and Leaf Capture software.
Bluetooth was also used for sending images to a ipaq device back in the days. Ipaq needed their client software.
The battery contacts are fine.
I was hoping to somehow access the rom or internal storage like you can if you stick a drive in a Linux machine, mount it and browse away.
Thanks for your help though.
