[Sola] Smooth Rom? - Sony Xperia P, U, Sola, Go

Hey, Guys,
So I wanted to speed up my Sola because sometimes it's laggy especially when I'm in the browser. I tested many browsers and I think it's the Ram why my Sola starts crashing or freezing sometimes. My last Custom Rom was Ultimate Sola, but now I'm on the Stock Rom. I hope you can tell me some Rom or App how I can have more Ram and be faster/smoother. There are so many Roms and I don't know which one of them is the best for me. I don't need anything other things like Walkman, or Notification Bar or Bootscreen because I installed already a few on my stock rom. Just a good Rom which helps my Sola to get smooth and without any crashings or freezings. (Just one question: Does the new Custom Rom erases all my installed things like a new bootscreen, Notification Bar etc.?)
Sorry for my bad English, hopefully you can help me anyway, :highfive:

Yes.

What is the difference between Kernel and Rom? It can also have a longer battery.
Other Suggestions are also recommended

Kernel:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Linux_kernel
in short....system core.
Rom - whole operating OS, with UI, system libraries and other stuff, also contains kernel but later you can flash other compatible kernel (there is compatibility requirment between ROM and Kernel).

Okay, the author of the kernel says, I need an unlocked Bootloader. I don't know which i have. I have the one you have on the Ultimate Sola Rom with the recovery Menu. Can you say me which one i got and where the difference is?
And what is the difference between Stock and CM ? Is CM Cynageon Mod?

Yes cm is cyanogenmod and is for unlocked bootloader, but you can use atis patch for locked bootloader i think. Im using stock, debloated and sliding kernel. The kernel did a huge performance difference and battery life. Very good combination...
Sent from my MT27i using xda app-developers app

Can you link it and tell it step by step, please ? I'm a noob .

Well there are guides for noobs, just search for them... I recommend using enwmo's kernel and the gx gaming rom(the one i am using)
Cyanogen is also a good idea, but some mods do not work on it... If u are fine with that then go ahead and flash it is the best

This is sliding kernel

but is only for unlocked bootloader...
Performance is flawless, no lags on phone...There is quide in the OP in the thread so read, decide and enjoy.

Yes thank you, i know, but is there a method how it works without an unlocked bootloader? I only rooted my device....
Do all Kernels must have a unlocked Bootloader?
If I can't use it because of the unlocked bootloader, can you say me other Roms/Kernerl which doesn't need an unlocked Bootloader?
EDIT: Does the kernel works with this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2134440 ?

Let's make something clear: there is no way that u can flash a kernel without unlocked bootloader... But u CAN flash certain roms with locked bootloader

Hi, for Feralab V20, 2 versions are available:
1) for LB (Locked bootloader esp those who are newbie and don't want to void their warranty)Everything is set if your phone is rooted Official 2.3.3Gingerbread, just flash the ROM via recovery. And Done, Enjoy
2)for UL (Unlocked Bootloader for intermediate and daring experienced flasher)Need more steps like unlocking bootloader, flashing kernels, wifi fixes)
ROM Link Here
If you're newcomer and not so used to XDA yet, i recommend you try locked bootloader version first.
Comprehensive Installation Guide by FeraVolt: Click Here , find for Locked bootloader Section because the guide got 2 versions
About HDgames, i'm not sure. So far best ROm for gaming is DiXperia8 by DiKeJ Gaming Rom for Premium Users

JAF 2.3.7 is last development ROM version 2.3.7 by Retiring FeraVolt as you can see. JAF ROM is very stable and smooth ROM for daily Use in your life activites like listening XLoud-music and HTC Beat-Audio support (double louder than 2.3.3GB Stock ever can do with its speaker) And Enhance video/photo capturing quality + Nice Tweaks in its speed, function and so on It will be at its peak status if accompanied along its FeraKernel specially made for itself by senior FeraVolt
Many features i coud'nt explained but these are best things in JAF ROM For more features, read this:

Good morning again,
I tested Ferav19 not 20 Locked (smooth and stable), but not JAF cos i kinda sticked to DonutHD ICS-ish look. LOL No Both Different ROM. you just have to choose one of them as your Custom ROM. Feravolt said before in the title, ''Just Another FeraLab Rom"
Hmm, i think you're confused before because of maybe seeing 3ROMs (ICS, FeralabV20, and JAF) combined somehow in thread
To make your life easy, here's link for threee ROMs:
FeraVolt's Original Posted Thread Which Have Links of 3ROMs, just click one of them

FeraLab v20 ~Final~ (26/05/2012)
Stock based ROM. Fast. Stable. Good Battery Life. Best for everyday use. Very Customizable. Final Release. With FeraKernel and Customization Pack available for both bootloaders

Seriously, which part is confusion?
For feralab v20:
Installation:
- Download Rom, Kernel and if you want Customization pack from HERE
***
UB For Unlocked bootloaders
LB For Locked bootloaders
Customization pack for both bootloaders
p.s.
Kernel for LB will be integrated with rom.
Kernel for UB have to be flashed through Flashtool and includes .71 Baseband
Kernels works fully only on v20 Rom..
if you want to use different kernel - don't forget to flash wifi modules)
***
- Format SYSTEM, CACHE, SD-EXT (If you have partition on SDcard (do it from CWM recovery))(and Format DATA if you want to clear your data)
- Mount SYSTEM, CACHE, DATA
- Install ROM
- After it boots first time, wait 2 min. and reboot
- After you configured ROM Wipe Cache and Dalvik-cache
- UB version users..flash this fix in xRecovery
The steps are so simple. This sentence "Customization pack for both bootloaders
" means that the customization pack is suitable for 1) locked bootloader x10 and 2) unlocked bootloader x10. That's why you would only see one download link for the customization pack.
Since you claimed that you are newbie, I recommend you to ignore the customization pack.
Just install the v20 rom, the rom itself is good enough. The customization pack is for advance player ( take it this way).
Regards
Oh

Oh right? Mediafire one right? Don't worry, if it doesn't say for Unlocked or Locked, Means compatible to both bootloaders. About its function, i'm not sure, probably helps in Installation/Customization Wizard thing. Original Non-Overclock value for x10i is 998MHz (~1GHz). If you see the value is higher than that, Yes it's overclocked. You can check by using apps like SetCPU or ROMToolbox to observe Kernel's overclock Value. And also set governor to optimize your performance/enhancing battery lifespan. All the Best

You can add Custom ICS kernel (not stock anymore) + CWM Touch v5.5.0.4 Full-Working-Stable
I still have no idea why these post is not in your index? There is 2 links: first link is rom and seccond link is recovery... you can just add recovery (its stable and full working release including mass storage mode working(internal/extenal), some tools specially created for Xperia devices...etc - V8) if you not like rom! If you allready opened "things colection thread", why you don't colect everything for Xperia Go?

[Drivers] JB ADRENO 205 LIBS for ICS

Hi Guys.. i looked around and the only thing i found similar to this is another post about adreno 205 .. but this time the libs are a bit newer.. these libs are from jb to ics.. and i think the another thread are just new ics libs..
well.. by flashing this libs you get faster gaming (less lag), more quality, better gpu speed.. but dont forget to tick GPU acceleration at developer options in phone
just flash them via CWM : http://www.mediafire.com/?r7ttrjbcknb6shm
PD. i dont really know if these libs are better than the another ones already posted, but i can guarantee they are diferent libs, since these are 1.66 MB and another ones are 2.2 MB.. you will need to try it by yourself..i used these libs in mi rom and it got rlly fast..i can play games like dead trigger (cpu at 1024~1024) with no much lag ..

Q) Official Version or ROM

Greetings! I have my xperia mini pro (SK17i)
with Android version 2.3.4 and the build is
4.0.2.A.0.62, what I have root, I wonder
if it is advisable to update you on ICS official
version or put a ROM for locked bootloader...
I can unlock the bootloader by the method of
Sony but for the moment I do not have a PC
compatible ... I hope I can help! thanks
Do not know if it's better official version ICS or ROM ICS or some Jelly bean, if
any ROM that is better than the official
version would I recommend, I look to be
smooth, fast and has a good battery
duration, not much use my xperia gaming so
much that does not interest me, not to open
another topic if you can help me with tips,
applications, tweaks or other to optimize my
xperia, thank you!

also wondering if you can recommend a ROM
for locked bootloader ....? and other tweaks
to optimize my xperia, I can unlock the
bootloader but now I have a PC with all the
necessary tools to do so, so I want to try
ROMs good and useful for locked bootloader,
thanks!

Sir, as the rules, you shouldn't ask for best Rom, try yourself
