How to cover up a scratch on the screen - Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey guys today I bought a Galaxy S3, but it has a small scratch on the screen. It does not annoy me that much, but it draws my attention to it quite often. Would a screen protector suffice to cover up the scratch and make it invisible? Any suggestions for a screen protector?
Thanks

Anyone got some recommendations for a screen protector?

Why would you even post this and wait for a reply?! U can get the answer in less than a minute if you use a bit of common sense....

Just because it's made out of gorillas, and doesn't mean it's not scratch proof. It's actually pretty bad if you ask me, and I've already got a ton kf scratches (not that I care though really)
Get a 1$ screen protector and 10$ case for your 600$ smartphone and you should be fine :fingers-crossed:

Display Scratch

Hey guys,
I have the S3 now for about 3 weeks, and I'm realizing that I've got a big scratch on the display, you can just feel it with your finger nails, but I think it's about 1, 5mm deep, and on the side a few little scratches. Do you have scratches either? How can I remove them without investing much money? Thx for answers! )

I do, but they're too small to notice. You can't remove them.
PS You have no idea what you're talking about when you say 1.5mm...That's HUGE
Then 0, 5mm
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
maybe, probably less.
So yeah, you can't remove them
You cannot remove them but you can prevent them. Invest 10$ and purchase a really good screen guard..

A screen guard may well cover and hide your scratch .

Can you recommend a screen guard ?

cheapest anti glare mat one's on ebay. Just ordered 5 peaces for 2.60$ US.

Where can I get a black shield/glass overlay

I'd like to use my s3 with black glass rather than opening it up and losing warranty

Is the s pen bad for the screen?

Sorry for the noob question but I'm curious if there are any long term affects on the screen when using the S pen a lot.
This is my first Note so I'm not used to using a stylus with a tip.
Thanks!

This pen was made to be used with the phone so I would say no. Also, all the marketing for this phone highlights all the features used in conjunction with the Spen. Now if you used some cheap knockoff you may have an issue

The only problems you might run into is dirt on the screen. The s-pen could scratch the screen if the pen picks up the dirt then travels along the glass. A simple screen protector will prevent that from ever happening. Spigen makes glass protectors if you don't like the feel of the plastic ones.

Thanks! Yeah I'm not a fan of plastic screen protectors, but I just ordered a glass one from Spigen. I'm curious if I'll like that better.

It adds a little thickness but you only notice it around the home button. Spigen included a riser sticker for the home button but I actually prefer going without it.
