XThemeEngine - Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note II

Not my work but just was looking around and found it in the android themes and apps section and realized it definitely needs more attention. Its basically a theme engine using the xposed framework and works quite well on the note 2. Pretty awesome for those who want the theme engine but don't want to run aosp

Nice find. Thanks for sharing.

Has anybody found working themes for this. The ones I downloaded from the Market haven't worked yet

It's definitely still a WIP. There are themes available in the app thread but not themes I personally like

Is this possible?

Is it somehow possible to have a compatible tmobile theme chooser to work with touchwiz? If not, is it possible to have something similar to it or even flashable? Im not asking for it to be done, rather, just out of curiosity.

Im guessin this is the same thing it asks for in rom manager whenever your trying to port over a theme? I was wondering what this was.

The problem would be that the themes are all built for aosp source Roms. They wouldn't be able to apply to a touch wiz or any other carrier rom

Except you can build tw themes. Obviously you couldn't use the AOSP, but say the black glass and other themes that are compatable from the themes and apps section could potentially be used in a type of theme chooser. I'm sure it's a lot of coding, but could be doable.
On my droid charge they had a set up where from terminal emulator you could apply tweaks and themes. What it did was download the theme you wanted bit into cwm and apply it, but it was all automated.

I know that they can make themes, but I was going on the assumption that the op wanted to use some of the hundreds of aosp themes out there

You may be right. If that's the case then like you stated no it can't be done.
I was thinking he meant something like the theme chooser that you picked TW themes from.

I know Scotts cleanrom has those mini themes available. You are correct that I was holding out hope for the ability to one day be able to use the T-Mobile aosp themes on a two ROM. The idea of porting hem over or making a port is actually a cool idea. Thanks for the feedback!

Xtheme engine

Saw it on the front page. In theory this should work with any rom? Link http://www.xda-developers.com/android/theme-all-the-rooted-phones-with-xthemeengine/

Yes it should and many themes are also developed for the above post: visit the thread to get themes:

This has worked well on the Rezound for me. Only problem is no one is working on porting themes specifically for the Rez, so some themes don't fully come through. But never the less this is an awesome addition to Sense and descended roms in regards to theme changer.
Going to try the clock mod and see how that works. Thanks to the devs who developed this for us.

Oh yeah. I do have some themes that work. But I was reading somewhere that if not ported specifically for the Rez it might not come out like it is supposed to. Either it works pretty well. I'm using Hawk's Eclipse.

Working on Sacs rom
These themes are real close to being done and will work on sacs rom. I am just finishing up renaming bat images and adding new flame/orb lockscreen mods. Also adding trans weather widgets and more as well. Soon guys I promise. Ive been super busy pumping these out. They should work on clean rom for the most part. Tested on my girls phone anyway. L8tr

Unfortunately these will not work for the sprint variant without modifications. I have already had a team member try and a no go. There is a Team Noc member who is working on some themes for the sprint s4 I believe. For dodges rom that may work. Good luck.
Some things may stick but being a previous sprint owner I can tell ya verizon is much different
I tried the Deep Blue v 6.1 and 6.2 on a fresh clean install of Sacs Rom v4.. it would not boot past Samsung screen.
It did flash and boot on Dark Slide, but it completely borked the phone and android process.
Theme looks awesome. Cant wait til its working properly.

So I have basically planned to flash these themes on hyperdrive 7 and post what works and doesnt. Hopefully this helps out Kdizzleh as well. 5 themes and Team Nocturnal stuff...you the man bro!!!
Theme is "Bobcat Universal Theme."
Bugs: Contacts and Phone not completely themed..see pics.
Pros.. Freaking the whole theme is bad A$$.!! See for yourself.
I dont wanna post 10 pics so the last pic shows the icons of all the themed apps.
Working really smoothly.

So I decided to flash cobalt to darken my dialer and contacts. I then flashed Bobs again.
Very cool combo!!
Sent from my SCH-I545 using Xparent BlueTapatalk 2
I have added to bobcats so that is is as complete as his s4 thread. There is different files involved and the theme need modified. Deep blue with a bunch of added ui and apks is uploading now. It will be up before the night is through. Bobcats and alexander is next

Sent from my SCH-I545 using Xparent BlueTapatalk 2
So lets see I flashed cobalt theme to darken the dialer and contacts, flashed Bobs theme and then the new Deep Blue. This is reminding me of Goodness on my S3.
All on hyperdrive 7 with stock kernel. Everything is working fantastic for the last 4 hours.
The first screenshot is not a homescreen setup. It just showing you all the apps that get themed.

How to theme your Tablet!

Hi,
I noticed that there ain't any themes for this tablet so here is an easy way to theme your tablet.
And of course you will need to be rooted to do this.
Also use common sense when messing around the modules. If you end up in boot loops from wrongly setting up the modules then there is always a Xposed disabler zip file in the root of our sdcard that you will have to flash in recovery to remove the bootloops.
First Install Xposed app.
Second Install xTheme Engine.
Here is a collection of xThemes i have collected and uploaded in one place to easier access them.
Fourth if you want to further mod you Tablet then try the modules here.
The Xposed Framework and xTheme Engine works on all roms. The themes will only do basic theming so do not expect to move mountains with it.
Happy Theming
I was wondering if you had any pics of the specific themes. Would help a lot to see which ones would suit my taste.

Sorry i dont have that as i dont use this at the moment.
I got a Note 3 and there are some awesome themes for that but i am ether gonna buy a Note 10.1 or a Note 8 tablet and was browsing the forums to see what roms was available and noticed you guys don't have any themes.
So i just made a post but when i get my tablet i will be posting the screens of the themes i try out.
If you try any of the themes then you could help the community by uploading some screen shots for others to see

Oh man I can't wait
I just ordered my Note 10.1 4G 2014 and it will be here in a week or so.
Once I receive my Note 10.1 I will try out all the themes and delete those not compatible with this device.
If I get the time I will make as many screen shots of the themes I try out.
Please if you guys can do the same and upload your screen shots of the themes you try then you will help out the community.
Screenshots
I am a bit disappointed or maybe I did something wrong? I tried royal theme and miui sony theme and the only thing that changed was wifi icons and some stuff in the notification are. If anyone knows some full themes that would be great. Screenshots attached, first two are royal elegance and the last one is sony miui. I only took screen shots of what was themed because nothing else changed for me
I would suggest The guy who did True Icon (keygenSVK)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2286137) I believe gave up on it at 4.2.2
There is a post later that had this Link hidden...

There was someone that Ported that specific Theme to 4.3 OMEGA Rom. I've Personally Flashed it but only a few things changed, mainly App Icons. Nothing on status Bar Changed which is what Iooking for.
I've Used Wanam Exposed to change Colors at least.
