Hi guys. All of you know that the JB update for 4.1.2 has been released for the Xperia P and Go. This thread is for discussion to port 4.1.2 for the Xperia U.

The only difference beetween xgo and xu are touch drivers!
I think that, maybe, we just need to repack xgo ramdisk with xu zimage in order to get it almost booting. Isn't it true?

yup...it can damage touchscreen...i have already port lww ics for xperia mini..and my touchscreen damage..
but it fixed already

I was someone who could run a rom JB in the U, with touchscreen working properly, I tested your AOSP rom, but can not remember his name...

It´s not the same kernel per se, just Sony used the same version of linux kernel 3.08.

The date that the kernel was compiled is at March which means a new kernel!
