When you unlock, does a boot image or warning pop up every reboot? - AT&T HTC One (M7)

On phones I've had in the past, when I officially unlock the bootloader, it shows some warning or boot image saying that the bootloader has been unlocked every time I boot the phone.
Does the AT&T HTC One do this? I ask because I'm concerned about buying one, unlocking it, and then needing to return/exchange it.
If you unlock the bootloader and it does show the boot image or warning, can you make it go away by simply relocking the bootloader?

Many Questions

Phone: Live with walkman
For a while i have wanted to unlock my bootloader but i cant.
I have found a thread where you can unlock your phone using the test point method.
Using this tutorial - HERE
I have some questions
Can i use this method if unlocking the bootloader is not allowed?
Is there such thing as bricking? If i do it wrong will it brick my phone?
Will it effect my INSURANCE (not warranty)?
I have no experience over unlocking via test point method, so I am unable to help with it.
There is no such thing as bricking, although you can get your phone bricked, if you try to update your phone firmware over the air(3G or WiFi), while having unlocked bootloader.
But don't worry about that, chance to make it completely bricked is quite low, if you know, what you are doing.
About the insurance, check your contract details, can't help with that.

About the bootloader:
The s1tool method might work even if the phone is branded but if you want to unlock the boot loader to flash custom kernels and roms you will need to enter to fast boot mode which is disabled in all the branded phones that I know of, you can try to enter the phone in fastboot mode turning it of and connecting the USB cable to the PC and the phone holding down the volume up key, if the notification led turn on blue then you can flash custom kernels and rooms once the bootloader is unlocked if not then you will need to pay to unlock it if that is what you want.
About the brick and the insurance the answer was given in the previous post.
Cheers!!
If i get unlocked will it also allow me to unlock the bootloader?
After some searching.
If your phone has SIM-lock(locked to a specific network), you cannot unlock the bootloader. The only way currently is to pay some money and it will remove SIM-lock and unlock bootloader also.
Can't remember the provider exactly.

[Q] Bricked bootloader. How to factory reset it?

Like 6 months ago i unlocked the bootloader and unlocked the simlock too.
But now I wanted a custom rom that required locked bootloader, so i locked it.
That's where my problems start. It isn't in fact locked, but it cannot be unlocked again, because s1tool now doesn't recognize my bootloader, therefore cannot unlock it (Flashtool doesn't help either). And the worst part: now it doesn't accept any SIM.
How can I reset this phone now to a state, where it becomes usable again?

Is my bootloader unlocked? Rooting status: UNAVAILABLE in service menu

Unlocking bootloader wasn't allowed on my phone, but I decided to give it a try anyways. Flashtool reported that the unlocking process was finished, but the progress bar was stuck somewhere at the half-way point for 10 minutes or so. After this, rooting status in the service menu changed to Unavailable, and I can't tell whether my bootloader is unlocked or not, or somewhere in between.
I tried flashing a custom rom, it gets stuck indefinitely on the animated boot screen, but I don't get any errors, crashes, or warnings while installing the zip in TWRP.
I noticed that after the "unlocking" procedure, my phone takes significantly less time to boot and the interface seems to lag less.
So what is going on here? Have I really somehow unlocked my bootloader?
Try relock bootloader, and unlock bootloader again
I have the same issue
I want to unlock my bootloader and in status it says available no or when i tried to unlock it it says unavailable
Please help
Mine too.
I can only use my Sim slot 2 (slot 1 is not working)
I need help.
I tried installing the new marshmallows from Xperifirm but still not working.
Rooting status: UNAVAILABLE

Question regarding bootloader unlock

From what i understand, we have to use the mi unlock tool to unlock the bootloader, and doing so factory resets the phone and erases all data. When we first click on the unlock button, it gives an error saying try again after 7 days. What i want to know is, does the phone's data get erased on the first attempt to unlock the bootloader, or does it get erased after 7 days on the second attempt in which the bootloader actually unlocks?
I found the answer to my question. It gets erased on the second attempt.
