Thanks for posting this up here. I went to one of your other threads in the att side to grab the files I needed to unlock the bootloader. After that it was cake to get root

Going to the Tmo store today to decide if I want the HTC One or not, but glad this toolkit is ready. Used your toolkit for my girlfriends HTC One S, which worked perfect! Keep up the great work!

Thanks! I was going to track you down and ask if you would post your tool here. Awesome.

What is the difference between this version (V1.0[4-24-2013...) and the one I downloaded either yesterday or the day before (One_M7_All_In_One_Kit_v1.2??). That one also had clockwork Mod. I am confused!!

Haha. It isn't really easy to do this. I am trying to find a way where a user can select to add the boot.img and the modules but since many people are new to this, I just provide the kernels I find so nobody can accidentally mess up and forget to add the modules or whatever.
Any chance if some ics kernels man? I don't consider myself newbish, but gonna download this just because of how well its built!

Looks nice. Maybe look into adding mainver fix? I am pretty sure everyone's misc image is the same so you could backup the users' misc then flash a pre hex edited one with the shipped mainver
Wasn't aware we had a touch version of Amon Ra. Is it stable and official or someone's mod?

Really though, thanks for this tool. It'll be nice to have one place to flash Amon-RA and Clockwork.

Sorry for the questions.
I'm more confused now. With My Incredible 2 we needed S-Off to be fully rooted. So this no longer applies?

S-Off takes time. HTC has been adding tougher security so it isn't easy to get S-Off right away. It took over half a year to get S-Off on my Amaze.

You no longer need S-Off to be fully rooted. S-Off makes it easier to flash radios and return to stock without Verizon or HTC knowing that you unlocked your phone, but S-Off isn't mandatory at this point for permanent root.

I understand Verizon, but didn't HTC start the unlocking bootloader? Why would they care about S-Off? I have to learn more about S-Off vs Unlocked
S-OFF actually has nothing to do with root access on your phone. If you have root access at all, technically you are "fully rooted" or whatever term that comes out next
Will this work on HTC Incredible 2? :fingers-crossed:
If not any chance of supporting the Incredible 2.

My phone bootlooped after flashing this. Please avoid this!!!!
Beware until the dev fixes this! Not sure if this is a real Rom but my phone soft bricked!!
I would advise using the roms from trusted devs in the International HTC One forum such as Android Revolution HD and TrickDroid for now.

So because your phone bootlooped....the Rom is no good. Way to start the thread off. I think you probably didn't do something right.

just so you guys know, this guy is just a troll he is my friend in real life just being a troll.
here's some proof:
he claims to have downloaded the rom and flashed it.
only one problem since i just posted the rom a few minutes ago no one had downloaded it. theres no way he could have downloaded it and flashed it that fast! and according to androidfilehost the ROM has 0 downloads . heres a screenshot http://gyazo.com/4c1ec80543fe13194caeb9e0f0e5836e
Thanks and please ignore him. I need real testers
Wow already? Sounds like it has the extras I want. I may have to unlock and get rooted here. Thanks for the ROM...and making my decision to run stock for a couple of days most likely impossible now
I never understood why HTC doesn't at least give the 1% battery option in settings. I can think of a few init.d scripts I would like to try too. I guess it's time to shut up and get started...

AndroidFileHost updates once every 30 minutes or so with download count...
Also it takes about 3 minutes to download and a a minute to flash. Then a following minute of bootlooping to realize the ROM isn't functional.

.290 System Files - Create some custom ROM's [C6802 & C6806]

Here is the framework from the .290 update from Sony. (4.3)
It’s for anyone and everyone to use to make a ROM based on Sony’s latest firmware.
I've extracted it from a C6802 & C6806 base and uploaded it here for anyone to use:
C6802 LINK
C6806 LINK
Note:
1: This is not a ROM. However it’s everything you need to make one... except the installer script.
(The script = Recoveries use a script to flash the ROM)
2: Its not modified in anyway (remains odexed, and not zipaligned)
The purpose and hope, is that some of you will want to learn how to make custom ROM’s. It's not very hard and will just require a bit of reading, and some preexisting knowledge of linux would help…
There are quite a few tutorials on how to create a recovery script so use the 'search' feature within XDA as me positing another method would just be repeating what I've read & learnt. i.e. waste of time.
And here's a tutorial to make roms in windows without coding  (credit @dsixda) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1272270
And potential rom builders, don't forget to grab the remount-fixed stock kernel that includes dual recovery (credit @ChillyChan). http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2575909

Hey buz.. I put together a rom (not finished) but I'm in hospital at the moment.. Not serious, have an IV in my arm due to vomiting and diarrhea for too long . So I can't do anything else. Nice way to spend Xmas eh! I'll send you the Google drive link that I uploaded a few days ago as my backup. Let me know how you go. You'll need to flash the modified kernel.
@hamdogg bummer of a way to spend Christmas, hope you get those fluid levels up quickly! I've put all of boxing day aside for rom stuff so will have a look then (and watching Aussies smash Poms in the cricket) . Speedy recovery mate.

What about for those who wants to do some coding? I really want to do roms, but there are too many tutorials, so I don't really know where to begin. I've know some of C++. I guess that I need to learn some Java, right? Just tell me what knowledge are necessary to build a rom from sources? I really want to take part in porting GPE Rom to our devices.

its just the script you really need to understand.
the ROM tree like i've provided is just ripped straight from Sony sources. Not hard, just takes about 20 minutes.
The script is where the hard part comes. telling android to flash this and that, and have this partition for kernel, and recovery..
busybox and SU make is easy, but you still need to know how to execute commands in android/ linux.
ok, i'll bite
I've installed @dsixda's kitchen in my ~/dev dir, updated su,Supersu.apk and about to do busybox in the kitchen.
I've pulled apart @krabappel2548's omni rom and @hamdogg's rom to see how they are built, started playing with .290 and have inserted the duel recovery kernel from @ChillyChan
I might need a little help with the updater-script - will see how I get along...

Excellent... The update accept is the problem. My first attempt is in the cloud and I don't have access to download that amount of data. Buz days there are some errors, and he's having the same issues.
^^ busybox from the kitchen is one of the few things I couldn't get to work, it modifies the update script to make it work, but you'll need to review somebody elses rom's update script to get this to work.
Update script is where I struggle too btw.. I have been cutting and pasting from other roms update scripts to get it to work (incl. Z1 roms)
Good luck.
@hamdogg , would you like me to send @blueether a link to your dogg4 build?

Yeah sure. He can have a play with it. I'm away from my laptop for a while. Just me and the ultra. Well, and my wife..
Who wants to put money on me soft bricking my C6802?
^^ nah, dud roms just produce flashing errors more often than not.
Ensure you have an ext sd nandroid and can fastboot flash boot the @ChillyChan 290 kernel and recovery to restore said nandroid if required
Sent from my C6833 using Tapatalk
yep have the 290 kernel ready and just completed a nandroid to the external sd card.
I'll have a look at dogg v4 first to see if I have really buggered up v0.1
The @Desperanto86 deodexed 257 rom also a good resource for checking for updater script clues
Sent from my C6833 using Tapatalk
I'll see how this goes, just about to flash.
Most of the script looks good, not so sure on the final stages of setting up the /system...

Not bricked, but no go on the flash either: "Status 0", back to the kitchen I guess...

Soft bricked on third attempt... flashed dual kernel and restore... now building v0.5
edit:
Soft bricked again, with red flashing LED this time, getting better each time. I think it's time to stop for the day...
Last Edit for the day, I promise:
flashed kernel-dual.img back on top and it booted fine. I lost root but that was no big deal, just reflashed SuperSU. deodexed, zipaligned, nothing else done yet. But it is still my first rom.

OK, looks like I didn't deodex the rom properly (if at all), and now that I have I'm getting FC in settings.app
Is there a good reason to go deodexed?
I can't get root to stick in the rom, it works if I use either of the two 4.3 methods by @ChillyChan and @jackie099. Is there something else I have to do...? I guess I'll have a go doing it like @handogg and follow ChainFire's update-binary script
^^ I have deodexed zipaligned version of dogg4 that errors at the end of the flashing process - I can share this with you on Jan 2nd when I'm back online. Yes it errors but deodexed /system/app and system/framework may be of some use to you.
Btw, android 4.3 is api 18 and the kitchen defaults to api 17 (4.2) when deodexing - updating the api number to 18 in the kitchen "may" fix your deodexing issues
Re: a good reason to deodex? Most mods require deodexed rom is my main reason

I'm proudly presenting you an unofficial port of MIUIv5 for the HTC Desire 601 (zara). The ROM is based on stock JB 4.2.2 and used MIUI 4.6.13 MIUI for the HTC One S.
*Some screenshots may have themes, wallpapers and apps installed, which means the ROM you install wont look exactly the same!

Bugs and not properly working stuff (workarounds or fixes are in the second post):
Native menu button(see post 2)
Xunlei download engine causes media errors (see post 2)
Built-in gallery application cant open png images and thus its removed (use QuickPic as good alternative or see post 2)
Built-in video application is not working (use Mx Player or QuickPic)
Themes engine is not working (see post 2)
Widget theming doesnt seem to work at all, but not good tested
Yellowpage is not working and it is removed but there is still icon on the launcher (only when system language is set to English or Chinese)
USB Mounting doesnt work, but MTP works. This means that you should set USB connect on "Charge only" and there wont be problems
Battery usage data isnt available in Settings app. You can see it in Security->Power->Battery Use
Some minor resizing
Thats all I can recall now, you can point me more of them buggies

DOWNLOADS, INSTRUCTIONS, INFO, USEFUL STUFF
Before proceeding, keep in mind that the update zips are made for the kitkat hboot 2.22 (system at mmcblk0p35, data at mmcblk0p37, boot at mmcblk0p33, etc.) This means that if you are on older partition table, the ROM may break your partitions!
Installing instructions PLEASE READ THEM:
Download the ROM, GAPPS and MEDIA FIX. Place them somewhere on your sdcard.
Reboot to recovery and perform a data wipe
Flash unofficial_miui_4.6.13_jb_4.2.2_Vency77_TF.zip
Flash miuiandroid_gapps-4.2.2-small_signed-8012.zip
Reboot and let the ROM boot
IMPORTANT! When the ROM boots, you will see a lockscreen. DONT unlock it because you will have system media FC'es. Hold the power button, Power Off the device (dont tap Reboot, it doesnt have native 'Reboot to recovery' option), boot into bootloader->recovery, then flash fix_media_miui.zip and reboot. You shouldn't have more FC'es, but you may need to perform a reboot or two so the media can be rescaned.
And no, this CANT be flashed when flashing ROM!
Start the MIUI journey!
Optional: Use the aroma installer to install some additional apps and services (list of them is below)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Removed apps:
I have removed some apps from the rom, either because they didnt worked well, or they are useless. Here is a list and aroma zip to install some of them if you want:
Backup.apk and BackupRestoreConfirmation.apk - used for backing up the phone with xiaomi server, which is in China, which is slow.
HTC Gallery apps- The stock gallery with zoe and some other stuff, which can be accessed through camera or the settings app under 'Stock Settings'.
HTC_IME.apk - the stock HTC keyboard
MiuiGallery.apk - stock gallery. Couldn't open pngs and videos.
PaymentService.apk - xiaomi payment service for paid themes and other stuff. Would install this only if you wish to buy themes.
Transfer.apk - Miui transfer app, works only between MIUI phones, not tested, not sure how it works.
Updater.apk - Completely useless as this is unofficial ROM and there wont be OTA's.
XiaomiAuthenticator.apk - app to manage your xiaomi account. The xiaomi framework works good even without it!
XiaomiServiceFramework.apk - this is the account service for xiaomi and the application that you'll want the most, because without it you cant download themes.

Workaround for some of the bugs:
1) There isnt menu native menu button. There are different options, the best one for me is this: download and install WSM tools(this is the xposed framework for MIUI). When installed, go to the application, framework, install the framework and reboot. Then start WSM Tools again, go to the online Tab, click "Repository" and mark 'Xposed'. Then search for GravityBox JB, install it, enable the module in WSM, reboot. Then in GravityBox you have many options for menu button - enable pie controls or go to 'Navigation keys actions' and remap home or back button.
2) The Xunlei Download Engine is crashing the media server. When flashing fix_media_miui.zip, it is disabled so there is no problem, but if you enable it in Download Manager, you will have errors again... so dont do it, and if it happens - flash the fix again
3) Themes are now working!
To download themes from the market, install XiaomiServiceFramework with the aroma installer.
To install local (.mtz) themes, you have to have installed Mi Tools module for WSM tools, which disables Xiaomi restrctions for free themes.
These are the main bugs and their workarounds, if you have any questions or dont understand something - feel free to ask and I will help you

What I meant was that I noticed the files for the rom and gapps package said 4.2.2 which is Jellybean. Wasn't sure if this also works for Kitkat. Bummer about UL only, but I understand. Id be will to test for CL. Take you time, no rush though.

The ROM itself is Android JB 4.2.2
This has nothing to do with the verison you are using now, simply because now you are on KK ROM and if you flash this you will be using JB.
It is however important what partition table and respectively what hboot version you have because of the flashable zips, which is explained in the second post with the red font.
When I find time to replace some things for a CL version, I could send them to you for a test, thanks
good looking out
I'll test on the cl post a link engendere
Themes fully fixed!
If you are using MIUI, just flash fix_theme_miui.zip
The updated ROM is uploaded and links are fixed as unofficial_miui_4.6.13_jb_4.2.2_Vency77_TF.zip
_______
To download themes, install the XiaomiServiceFramework.apk via the aroma installer in post 2.
To install local downloaded themes (.mtz), you have to install Mi Tools module via WSM Tools, info in post 2.
Can't wait for zara_cl !! i'm with virgin/sprint or whatever... in the bootloader it says i'm on zara_ul though, which is weird cuz i installed zara_cl insertcoin 3.0.8 unless IC is for both zara cl and ul but... i can't wait for the release for cl

That is very weird. The virgin mobile model should be Zara_CL. Check again and make sure. If boot loader says ul then it's ul

What do you mean by only JB?
Its actually only UL for now and I see you have CL, if anyone wants to test and use a CL version, I can try and make one

I love you baby. This ROM is like poem come true.
Thanks for your effort!
One problem though, how do you get MiTools to work?
I enabled a lot of the battery ? options and they don't work. Or is it just a settings manager which we have to install the originals before enabling? Again, I love you so much ?
EDIT: GOT IT TO WORK.HaD TO enable them in settings!
How do I get mi credits?

Im glad you liked it, MiTools require WSM Tools framework installed and turned on there.
MiCredits are buyed, but its not possible outside China. There are sites where you pay someone in China, and he buys the credits for you, if you are interested I can show you, but its not worth it..
