The main difference will be the pre installed apps nothing more really

Mainly the apps. Not much bloatware in it: Wisepilot, some Sony apps, and that's all. This fw is a bit smaller than the Taiwanese. Same fw, same kernel.

There's a option after you choose ftf for wiping data, try uncheck it.
