Hi all
I am considering buying a Galaxy S2 i9100 mobile phone with a broken LCD display, however the motherboard is fine.
Unfortunately my Galaxy S2 has been dropped in water so the motherboard is damaged.
My question is. The phone I would like to buy is with 16 Mb internal memory and my own has 32 Mb of memory. Can you simply switch motherboard without problems ?

1 - it's Gb not Mb
2 - isn't it cheaper to buy new motherboard (50-100 $), than buying a "new" (old s2) even if its only with cracked screen, for which you will pay same price??

Guys, someone is selling a Samsung SHV-E210S Galaxy S III LTE 32gb bought in Korea for around 670 euros, he says it works properly with a local SIM (Cyprus),
is it worth the ris buying a device which most probably won't be covered by warranty here?
The only version available here is the 1gb RAM and 16GB storage.

Will a touch screen digitizer work with i9100 as well as i9100G model galaxy s2 ?
If so i can swap the motherboard to my phone right ?

My Samsung galaxy S2 has encountered a problem and in all likehood i will have to get the motherboard replaced.
It has been with be since June 2011 and its pretty old now, also I'm not sure how it will perform or how much life
has it left.
Hence I'm planning to buy Galaxy S4 instead, it is around INR 29K.
If any one of you have had a similar problem and got the motherboard replaced please share your thoughts.
Please advice.

So recently I broke my galaxy s4, the screen is broken pretty badly all the way from the glass to the actual display, and is unusable. I really want my s4 back, I was lucky enough to get an early one so I have loki with a custom rom, and I have a whole bunch of files on the internal storage that I want back. So, because the motherboard is still working, I am planning on getting another s4 and swapping the motherboard out. My only concern with this is that there might be different motherboard revisions. So, are there? Are all verizon s4 motherboards compatible in all verizon s4 phones?

There is no main board revision with verizon S4. Buy a screen with frame assembly that label L720/I545/R970 and it should fit.

I have Galaxy S3 9300 international version but the display is broken like hell not see anything. So now I want to buy new display but its too much range and I dont want to expend so much money for this mobile.But one of my friend has USC Galaxy S3 SCH-R530 model and his motherboard not working.So I'm thinking that its possible that my GT-I9300 model motherboard can fit on SCH-R530????If is it possible then I save sooo much money.Please guys tell me is it possible?????
As I remember display is the same but there are differences in mainframe between those models. I9300 motherboard will not fit without modifications in r530 lte variant frame. You could short circuit and fry your motherboard if you will make this wrong.
