I was having issues with my TF700 so I did a factory reset, and reinstalled CM 10.1. Unfortunately now the play store was updated to 4.0.26. I think this version is horrible so I uninstalled the updates to it resetting it back to 3.10.14. Cool, except that it keeps silently upgrading back to 4.0.26 after a while. Is there any way to stop it from doing this? Thanks.

install the playstore u want dont open it yet
then download lucky patcher; http://www.chelpus.defcon5.biz/luckyPatcher.apk

I can't seem to get it to download straight from the phone. Keeps saying its an unsupported file. Also tried to send it through Bluetooth to my phone and that also didn't work.
How did you guys get it to download and install?

I dropped it on my phone from my PC...not sure about others
I just downloaded it from the xda app and it worked fine.

Figured it out, stupid problem really.

Took me some digging around but I found 338691. Aside from the number I doubt there are any noticible changes, but I'm sure I'm not the only one who always likes to have "newest". I don't think there's any malware or anything but if anyone finds some let me know, because I didn't put it there.
Surprisingly it even installs like a normal app, every other version I've used over the years needs to be put in /system/app

New version just came out, temp works for me, but it's still very buggy, I'm on cyanogen, does the app work properly with touchwiz? I'm looking at ordering the sony XAV701HD with mirrorlink, but I want to make sure the app is stable first

Nope it does not work. I have the XAV-701BT and it just gives an error message on the unit saying usb device not recognised. Dont know if it has to do with CM10 or what. I am on paranoid android and its not working. Have not had the time to revert to stock ICS on sgs3 to see if its working
EDIT : Finally got it to work, by going back to Stock ics rom, now it works like a charm
EDIT 2: Tested it on Omega and its still working

it does work, but it is not a fix, as it is an old version. the problem with signing in with the newer youtube versions is google play services, and that has already been fixed
Its old version, new Google Play Service just support for Honeycomb+ same with maps, API maps v2 just support for honeycomb+... so, its work but not fixed new google product sign in cuz its old version app

You can use the latest version you just need to make sure you have flashed the correct gapps for your phone first if on a custom rom
I am using a Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-I9500 and have updated to Instagram v4.0.2
Up until the update I still had the Lux button (the button which looks likes the sun and makes your photos look nice?)
After 4.0.0 it's gone, and then 4.0.1 came and it's still not there and then today I updated to 4.0.2 and it's still not there.
Did they completely remove the Lux button or is it just for my device?
I tried clearing cache/data/force stop/uninstall/reinstall two times already still doesn't work.
I emailed them but then I got an auto-mail in my spam folder btw saying they only respond to posts in help.instagram.com but then I followed that link and I have no idea how to post the issue there because it only has links to known issues.

Seems it was removed in the latest instagram versions 4.0.x
I had to revert back to 3.5.3 (no videos) in order to restore the feature. Search the interwebs to find the apk.
