HOME2Wake and HTCLogo2Sleep:
- What is HOME2Wake -> It's a bit similar to Sweep2Wake, but instead of swiping through the capacitive buttons, you have to push the Home button instead, to wake the device from sleep. Then press HTC logo to switch screen off. At times it takes 2 consecutive presses when the phone is in deepsleep. Still testing this stuff.

About development of this kernel:
This is the exact copy of tbalden´s kernel from his original thread, with all his h2w and htc logo stuff integrated + OC / UV / LINARO /GPU / SCHEDS / GOVERNORS / ETC...
In the future i will add stuff and keep in sync with tbalden. I´m more then proud to work with such an aweseome dev together. I dont have the device yet, so its really improtant to provide me logs, kmsg, etc if u run into trouble. But also when i get the device, its important to provide me such stuff. I will do my best to get the most out of our HTC ONE´s

Use CWM or another AROMA compatible recovery. You can select all stuff from Menus, no need for additional flashing. If you get stuck, or exits to Recovery menu, try again. Should work! (Aroma is sometimes a bit flaky, but it works, preferably press Next buttons in installer a bit slower, that way it's more stable)

I think that OC doesn't work. (max clock is still 1.72 GHz). Logo for menu does work really good, will test UV later...

i dont think theres overclocking yet, or underclocking. Would like to see underclocking though.
Home to wake and logo to sleep works.
Trying to get u.ndervolting to work though. fauxclock vc doesnt work, worked with flar's kernel. VC doesnt work atm.

VC is working, but changing CPU clock isn't. (I think it would be better to set CPU clock etc. in Aroma, because the apps doesn't work well atm)
Kernel seems to be really fast

I too would like to see others' UV settings. As a start, I just used trickster to set a -50mV UV across the board. It seems to be stable. Made it through various benchmarks.
Edit: ended up taking an additional 25mV off the top two frequencies. Still running great.

Oxygen is now fully supported for Nexus One. Download official ROM from http://download.oxygen.im/roms/
Due to family and work commitments, updates to my modded version will be few and far between, if any. Hope you enjoyed the ride as much as I did. And thanks for the thanks!

Hi all,
I wanted to try a super-stable and bloat-free ROM for my N1, but couldn't find any in this forum that suited all my requirements. I finally found one on the Desire forum, called Oxygen. But it didn't have any version for Nexus One.
So after some (initially futile) efforts on github, this is my personal port of Oxygen for Desire, a minimalist, lightweight and super-stable AOSP ROM by AdamG

About
Oxygen is an AOSP source built ROM (ie. not a mod of any sense based ROM), it's minimal, it's superfast and mostly bugfree.
The original Oxygen is not a mod/port of any other HTC/CyanogenMod or any other ROM and may not be to everyones liking, since it's minimalistic and basic. I'll only be porting changes made to the original Oxygen source code, but I'm open to ideas and suggestions for functional improvements to the N1 version.
(Requests for bloatware like custom lockscreens, live wallpaper, etc. will not be entertained)

FAQs, Issues & How To Report Problems
FAQs
Q: Is there Arabic support?
A: Follow instructions from http://blog.devasque.com/?page_id=11 (thanks to ultra99)
Q: I'm having issues with the Market place force closing. Is anyone else experiencing this?
A: Try changing language/locale to something else and then back to your own. Then try to open Market again.
Q: Does this ROM come with built-in Apps-to-SD-EXT?
A: No, you must use a 3rd party solution (search for Dark Tremor, D2Whatever, S2E, etc). Reflash it everytime you flash a new ROM update. If you wish to use dark tremor apps2sd, you can try my customized (ext4-only) version HERE
Q: The lag is really bad on this rom when I flash data2sd
A: Flash libsqlite.so tweak by iinga and convert sd-ext partition from EXT3 to EXT4. (thanks to Treatcon)
Q: My bootloader and radio versions are different. Could this be the cause of my flashing problems?
A: No. It's usually a simple issue of zip file corruption. Always compare checksums first when you face any flashing problems.
Q: Can you add XXXXXX feature?
A: Maybe, but not if I consider it bloatware, and only if it does not compromise overall stability.
Q: Can I use a custom kernel?
A: No, since most custom kernels are made for/from CM-kernel, which is incompatible with this ROM. The built-in kernel is already fully optimized. But for those who wish to test dynamic undervolting, there's an AVS version to flash separately. (Warning: will NOT be as stable as the built-in kernel)
Issues
Some users have experienced phone freezes when using Tasker. Details HERE (thanks to Royan)
If you're phone freezes/reboots while using the AVS kernel, that means it can't handle dynamic undervolting and/or the constant voltage scaling. Stick to the built-in non-AVS kernel.
One incident of user having problems with bluetooth, details here. I don't use bluetooth handsfree devices so have not been able to experience (nor fix) the problem, if any.
How To Report Problems
For those having problems with market, video, 3G, wifi, reboots, freezes, etc ... please do a full wipe (use my format zip HERE) and then reinstall WITHOUT any extra scripts/optimizations.
If problem still occurs after a full wipe and reinstallation, then please capture BOTH logcat and dmesg/last_kmsg AFTER the problem occurs, using the following method ...
1. Start terminal emulator session
2. > su
3. # dmesg > /sdcard/dmesg.txt
For reboot/freeze problem, replace Step 3 above with
3. # cat /proc/last_kmsg > /sdcard/last_kmsg.txt
4. # logcat > /sdcard/logcat.txt
5. Wait ~1 minute then exit terminal emulator
6. Paste contents of resultant txt files to pastebin.com
7. Post pastebin URLs here in this thread for diagnosis
In other words, help me to help you. Clairvoyancy and telepathy are a couple of skills that I don't possess ... yet ;P

This seems interesting. A couple AOSP roms nowadays. Won't be long when start asking for further modifications, additional features, etc.
I believe Sibere's Data2ext script will work?
Thanks for the efforts...always saw Oxygen to be so popular back in the desire forums.
I'm using Dark Tremor beta without problems so far, so Sibere's Data2EXT should be good to go.
Does Trackball-Alert work with a built-in option are do we have to install a 3re-parta app?
Is there Arabic support?
coool, great work.. keep it up!
Cm7theme.apk it's inside or work ?

LED notifications not built-in, yet. I'm looking at how to work it in without too much bloat. I haven't tried it, but hear that Trackball Alert is a possible option for now. Let us know how it turns out for you.

Theme Manager is included and built using Tmobile's source.
Looks super.
Is there support for multiple languages? ( turkish )
Thanks cheeky. But I meant are the letters disconnected when typing/reading Arabic words?

AFAIK, there's no fix for that yet from Google. Sample below ...
I was able get Arabic working on this rom.
I followed this site: http://blog.devasque.com/?page_id=11

Good for you! But this patch actually replaces the existing framework, and will probably break other built-in framework features (such as DSP libs, notification power widgets, battery percentage, trackball wake, volume button music control, etc). Please try out the various features available in settings and let me know which are broken.
love it . thanks for porting it to N1 !!

All of these features you mentioned work no problem. However, Arabic letters are still disconnected in gmail and browser.
Might have to look further into this. Can't you take anything related to Arabic from CM7 as it has it correctly?

Comparing the features list of Oxygen for the Desire and your OxygeN1mod, could you please clarify if Apps2SD comes pre-installed on OxygeN1mod or does it need to be installed separately. If it is a separate install, would you entertain the idea of creating separate builds with and without Apps2SD for those who would like it to work "out of the box." Thanks in advance!

KNOWN PROBLEMS
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1CBiv3KYTGeOKMnrXVAr1_SqKXDxq1E_6wvBb2Vs8Ttw/edit#gid=0
- Stweaks is not working at the moment, and i can't work to fix it because of reasons above.
- Freezes from undervolting/overclocking and any data lost in the freezing process is your responsibility!
- The stable kernels in OP are tested for stability before being posted here.
- If you have problems follow these steps to flash a stock cm kernel with odin:
- First of all install the correct drivers:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/cm10i9100vsync/files/latest/download?source=files
- Download odin and extract it:
https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B64DyNFMhOJJSUFvYmZYaXEzNjQ/edit
- Download the cyanogenmod's kernel tar:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B64DyNFMhOJJdGptbW9UVXE0RFU/edit?usp=sharing
- After installing the drivers, open odin, boot your phone in download mode (vol down + home + power) and connect it to your computer
- In odin select PDA mode and select the kernel's tar file
- Hit "Start" button and it will install the kernel then reboot your phone.
- Here you have 2 options: if you are running cyanogenmod just let it boot, if you are not running cyanogenmod, take the battery out and boot it into recovery (vol up + home + power) and flash a kernel or rom zip with stock kernel.

afaik linux kernel must be opensource, his sources are here:
https://github.com/gokhanmoral
CM sources with mali drivers are here:
https://github.com/CyanogenMod/android_kernel_samsung_smdk4210
if GM or any member has any problem with the name "Siyah" i will respect it and change it in OP, no problem. Also this kernel will be removed as soon as GM updates his own kernel to work with latest cm10.1. I do not claim this to be my work, i just got the sources and updated drivers then compiled.
Thanks for clarifying. will this work with hybrid roms like Rootbox and jellybam? And would it not be better to use siyah 6.0b4 as base since it has more gpu steps?

it will work as long as the rom has the same video drivers from cm10.1 (r3p1)
b5 has 5 gpu steps aswell but i don't know if the kernel is using all gpu steps because cm kernel's default is 3 steps and i haven't touched the driver's code. If you meant cpu steps i think its not worth the effort, both siyah and cm kernels use 5 step cpu for some good reason

Are the settings saved when you restart the phone? Perhaps you have to delete old kernel configs and stuff.

[Kernel][Aug23][Sense&GPe]teaMSeven2.3.7[Flick2Wake|TapWake|BLN|Hotplug|OC]

teaMSeven Sense/Google Edition kernel
for Android 4.4/4.3 Sense 6/5.5 ROMs and Stock Google Edition 4.4/4.3 ROMs (non AOSP!)

FOR SENSE ROMS with 4.4.3, 4.4.2, 4.4, 4.3 BASE (3.9/3.17, 3.22, 3.57, 3.62, 4.06, 6.09 BASES TESTED) AND Google Edition ROMs (4.4.4/4.4.2/4.3)
Brought to you by the cooperation of @n3ocort3x and @tbalden.
We're striving to always be the first to bring life into Custom Kernel development for the HTC One! Our humble team published the first fully working kernels for Sense Android 4.1, Sense Android 4.2, GooglePlayEdition Android 4.2, Sense Android 4.3, and Sense Android 4.4 (KK).
To bring new horizons to the way you use your HTC One, tbalden invented the idea of and implemented Logo2Menu, ButtonLightNotification, Flick to Wake, Pick to Wake.
We're providing two main lines for our kernels, STABLE edition is for sticking with HTC's way adding only safe to use features. PERFORMANCE edition is providing additional stuff. Read below.
Notice that in Performance Edition we provide CPU (81Mhz) and GPU (128mhz) minimum frequencies and voltages that give some extra juice of battery life.

STABLE EDITION and PERFORMANCE EDITION:
- Stable Edition is the safe way to go for normal usage, frequencies and CPU/GPU handled as HTC designed it, only usability features added in that version. This is recommended for non-tweaking users.
- Performance Edition contains the possibility for a lot more tweaks by tweaking apps like TricksterMod and Android System Tuner etc., read the list of additional features below. This is recommended for tweaking users, who like to set CPU, performance related stuff by themselves.
FEATURES
- No accidental touch events when in-call on ear-piece screen off by proximity (on stock 4.2.2 kernel this happens, you can touch the buttons accidentally with your ear while screen is off)
- Different Wake options (Home2Wake, Logo2Wake, Sweep2Wake, DoubleTap2Wake)
- Flick2Wake/Pick2Wake - read second post for details and video
- NO Sweep2Sleep, and not planned to be added, as it is finicky and many users report they actually push home or back or start apps from locker screen in the end accidentally on other kernels.
- Pocket Wake Protection (prevents phone from waking accidentally in your pocket, when it contacts skin through textile)
- Logo2Menu, Logo2Sleep options
- CIFS, NTFS-RW
- Button light notification (only with screen off, if not on charging light, or screen on)
- all OTG devices (except some controllers, as the stack of htc is not compatible with that. Sisaxis bluetooth works on the 4.3 Sense base reportedly)
- system write protection disabled in kernel
- cpu freq stats enabled
- Undervolting control enabled (as an exception for tweaks in the Stable Edition, because it's not risky if you don't actively undervolt in a tweak app)
- sound control (thanks @faux123)
- additional TCP congestion variants (use Trickster Mod or other app to set it)
- force usb fastcharge possibility
- kexec-hardboot (for multirom)
Performance Edition additional features:
- Hotplug control (MPDecision removed from ramdisk, hp by Fransisco Franco) - use tweak app to control it. Advice: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=43127747&postcount=925
- undervolting control
- overclockable (CPU up to 1.99Ghz)
- underclockable (Min CPU freq is 81Mhz)
- Thermal control (setup through installer, or http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=43519808)
- additional Governors (interacitve, smartmax, intellidemand, dancedance) - tbalden's recommendation: with stable edition: OnDemand / perf edition: smartmax/intellidemand
- additional io schedulers (fiops, row, bfq)
- GPU selectively overclockable to 487mhz (set in trickstermod on the fly, without reboot)
- GPU min freq is 128mhz underclocked
- GPU governors: ondemand (qcom), simple (all credits to faux123)
KNOWN ISSUESAndroid 4.4/4.4.2:
- none / you tell
GPe Android 4.3:
- none / you tell
SPECIAL THANKS @Flemmard for the CAF updates / video hw decoding fix, CM team,

TOUCHSCREEN KEYS REMAPPINGTo swap up LogoMenu and Home button, to behave like on HTC One X and older HTC phones (you need the kernel flashed too BEFORE flashing this!):
Swapped (Home->Menu Logo->Home)

Installation
0. go into Recovery
0.1 DO A NANDROID backup if you didnt already -- if anything goes cheesy, restore your backup
1. flash All-In-One installer zip (aroma menus will ask for options)
1.1 If you want to use a tweak app to set things on reboot, remove from /system/etc/init.d/ 01-h2w and 01-blinkbuttons and 01-pwp scripts
2. reboot
3. Tune settings with a tweak app e.g. TricksterMod, Android Tuner, etc. A guide for Performance Edition tunables: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=40323025&postcount=3
If flashing didnt work out by accident (recovery reboots all the time before flashing completes), you can try the following: "fastboot erase cache" and/or reflash recovery and try again.
Reverting: flash original ROM you were using or restore the nandroid backup

- All in one installer - script by @he_stheone64 (thanks !)
- Added init.d support (thanks @torxx !)

Changelog:
- Initial release
- Flick2Wake/Sleep - flick the phone, with a good strength, and the phone screen will wake or get to sleep. (It might look a bit awkward on the video, but i already am in love with this feature, it's comfortable ) Phone should be held in portrait mode, and flip the phone in a way that the top is flipping around the middle line of the phone...try it and you'll get used to it. IMPORTANT: On some Sense 4.3 roms like ARHD and ViperOne, for Flick2Sleep to work on Sense ROMs you need to set the Screen timeout to Auto! Thanks @elloar for the discovery http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=45830951&postcount=2266 (Cannot reproduce this issue on MaximusHD 13.0 tho')
- Pick2Wake - when your phone is laying around on e.g.a desk horizontally on its back, and you pick it up in a short motion and turn it to stay vertically still for a moment (like you would generally be looking at it), it will wake up.
Regarding Pick2Wake I must let you know that, if you'll want to use that specific feature (pick2wake), it will certainly keep the phone's CPU more busy, less deepsleep, especially when the phone is not sitting still, but being moved (gyroscope sensor being active), when it will keep the CPU up for more time than normally. Unfortunately, that cannot be circumvented, so pick2wake feature will come at a price of battery juice. It won't eat up the juice like mad, but certainly, i've measured that it WILL eat more.
Fiddling around with the Flick2Wake/Sleep, if you only use that, and leave the P2W off, deepsleep should be normal.
teaMSeven strikes again! Installing ASAP and will get back to you.
awesome thanks!

does that mean this is technically a 4.1.1 based rom? And audio volume improvements wont be in this kernel?

It's not a Rom but a kernel and yes there might be a lot of such differences. Basically this is like the 4.1 kernels are here, except the display driver

That seemed the most weird thing.. I didn't expect HTC would change that driver for ir. Hopefully it can be worked out somehow, but it might need older libs..

Great to see the kernel for 4.2.2!
Unfortunately there are still some issue's which stop me flashing it, but I'm sure this will be figured out soon.
I will flash it immediately when the issue's became less. (There aren't much though)
Good luck, and keep it up!
Stable so far here on trickdroid 6.0.1
Do miss video abd remote though, but great otherwise

Thanks for reporting! Hopefully the video decoding issue can be sorted out soon. Looking at logs it will need some updates in msm video decoding driver part. Then only Infrared is left

question is good, but thats not a kernel thing, its a rom thing. Ask in rom thread.

teaMSeven CyanogenMod 11.0 kernel
for Android 4.4 CyanogenMod 11.0 ROMs

Brought to you by the cooperation of @n3ocort3x and @tbalden.
We're striving to always be the first to bring life into Custom Kernel development for the HTC One!
Read below.
Currently tbalden only publishes the Stable Edition for CM 11.0 alpha roms.

STABLE EDITION
- Stable Edition is the safe way to go for normal usage, frequencies and CPU/GPU handled as HTC designed it, only usability features added in that version. This is recommended for non-tweaking users.
- additional TCP congestion variants (use Trickster Mod or other app to set it)
- force usb fastcharge possibility
KNOWN ISSUES- The issues that happen on the alpha cm11.0 based ROMs are present. No additional kernel issue known
SPECIAL THANKS
CM team, especially Intervigil
@mkasick for the 4.2 fix for system wide mounting
fransiscofranco for his hotplug stuff
@faux123 for his gpu governor and sound control
@flar2 for bringing doubletap2wake first for htc one
HTC for releasing Google Edition sources so quickly, and all the other sources
Thanks @Whiskey103 for the hosting!

Installation
Be aware that this is using CM-11.0 Ramdisk, not injecting the boot.img only, but replacing Ramdisk. Repack if you're using a special Ramdisk for an AOSP rom. (I test only on CM at the moment!)
0. go into Recovery
KERNEL SOURCES https://github.com/tbalden/android_kernel_htc_m7

Kernel Special Features:
Version Information
Status: Stable
Current Stable Version: 2.3.6
Stable Release Date: 2014-08-24
Created 2013-11-11

Changelogs:
Version 2.3.6c9 - Feb 23
- merged upstream cm-11.0 fixes committed by intervigil
- wakes now faster as expected
Version 2.3.6c8 - Feb 4
Merging upstream governor changes (ondemand/conservative) - it seems to be waking slightly quicker here using Ondemand
Version 2.3.6.c7 - Feb 1
make pocket detection more effective (lowering the nearness detection threshold)
In many cases it woke up in my leather case. On AOSP roms the new kernel base (msm8960) the proximity sensor seems to be less sensitive, so i added a low threshold to avoid accidental wakes. Seems to work much better, if not perfect. 90% of the cases it didnt wake now in my belt clip leather case.

- All features of Stable Edition now.
- added back Button light notif
- fixed up CIFS mounting

Finally! Thanks Tbalden!

No issue with that here. Haven't modified any camera related and it's cm 11 branch based.
I guess it's not working for you because you are on another aosp based ROM maybe?

Maybe its not compatible with Trip's AOSP 4.4 Kitkat build? He seems to have included basic CM11 stuff, but his fixes seem to be his own work related to camera and gps... dunno for sure tho.

yeah, that's a leftover from the sense installer i scissored for this cm installer. will remove it. It's not supposed to be there, as there's no vertical black virtual key 3dot menu, only in sense

This Kernel is based off the sources of AndreiLux Perseus Kernel (alpha35).
If you consider to thank me, please also consider to thank him http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1927852
This kernel only supports roms of android version 4.3.x (sammy and aosp) and 4.4.x!
You can dualboot any of those roms
if you were using this kernel on aosp based roms, and want to use another kernel, you need to reflash the rom, of course without any wipe, it's just to restore modified files
Features (changes compared to Perseus):
- merges samsung open source update12
- dual sound engine
- compiled with linaro gcc 4.8.3
- updated Linux Kernel base to 3.0.101
-zram, zsmalloc and lowmemorykiller updated from 3.9
- DevilQ cpu governor (default)
- block updated from Linux 3.3 (better i/o performance)
- row i/o scheduler updated from Linux 3.4
- fiops v2 i/o scheduler
- working for Aosp and Sammy at once (Big thx to Gokhanmoral for making this possible)
- Portet Ezekeel's Touchwake Feature (from nexus s)
- Oc up to 1.8 Ghz
- Backport from Linux 3.5 smp driver parts
- Wifi driver updated from note3
- backported zswap from linux 3.13 (this replaces zram now)
- backported cpu-boost driver
- possibility to set high/low power mode for wifi when screen is off
- LulzactiveQ cpu governor (from siyahkernel, thx again to Gokhanmoral)
- Hotplug Cpu Governor
- Proportional Rate Reduction for TCP
http://kernelnewbies.org/Linux_3.2#head-1c3e71416a9fdc2f59c1c251a97963f165302b6e
- improve memcopy/memmove
- Using Voodoo Sound and Boeffla Sound
- LED Control by yank555-lu
- ExFat support (thx to samsung for opensourcing the driver)
if your rom is based off PAC, Bam, Fusion, ... :
IMPORTANT: As per notice of 01.11.2013, my CM10.2 kernels do NOT support proprietary Custom Rom frameworks anymore. So if your Custom Rom did not implement the generic framework class framework-2.jar but his own naming convention, you will receive a boot loop. Do not cry about this here but advise your Custom rom cooker to fix this. I will not change this ever again.
The most prominent custom kernels for CM will follow the same approach (aligned between Yank555, Googy, LordBoeffla, Psndna, Temasek and me).
So please do pass this message along to your favorite ROM devs.
If they don't fix their rom, it won't be compatible with custom kernels any more!

Dualboot Faq:
For more detailed instructions, please take a look at this thread from RichMd (thank you for it):
Dualboot Faq thread
Important: if you want to use this kernel for dualboot, i highly recommend flashing my recovery as well.
General information about the recovery:
dualboot menu.
in this menu you can:
* create the secondary system partition (needed to be run once, if you want to install a second rom)
Install-zip menu:
you'll notice there is a new menu, where to select what you want to flash.
if you select kernel, rom or recovery, the zip gets installed as it is.
if you select zipt to pri./sec. filesystem, it is selfexplanary
if you select rom to secondary fs, the zip gets modified to install to the sec. fs. IF YOU WANT TO INSTALL IT TO PRIMARY FS LATER SOME TIME, YOU NEED TO REDOWNLOAD THE FILE!
if you select rom to primary filesystem, it gets installed there, and you can use the same zip later again.
How to install a second rom:
make sure you have already created ssecondary system partition! if not, go to dualboot menu and create it now (this may take some minutes)
The savest way is the way by using nandroids: if you don't have a nandroid already, create one now. Then just select your backup, and restore it to secondary filesystem.
you now should already be able to boot into primary or secondary rom (which are both the same now).
now you can install any other rom as primary.
if you want to install a new rom directly as secondary,
make sure there are no spaces in the filename!,
then just go to install zip. you'll notice there's a new menu at some point.
in this menu you can select where you want to install, and what type of file it is.
if you choose rom to sec. fs, your zip files itself gets modified to be installed to secondary fs. this may take a minute, because the files needs to get zipped again. Imporant: this file is permanently modified. if you think you need it later again, you should redownload it, because the modified one would always install as secondary.
installing a rom as primary, a zip to primary or zip to secondary fs, does not modify the zip.
Additional information:
roms coming with an aroma installer are hard to handle, as every dev can place own commands into it. It's impossible for me, to take care of every possibility. Because of this, it should be the best method, to flash a rom with aroma installer as primary one (and then move it to secondary, by using the nandroid method, if you want it to be secondary).

+ hardware keys backlight options working for samsung roms as well now
+ re-added oc up to 2 ghz (for those whos device can handle this, mostly added for note2)
+ re-added devil kernel boot logo
+ updated adbd binary to get rid of countless errors in logcat
12.12.2013 part2 :
+ samsung 4.3 roms: added new additional mountpoint for external sdcard ( /extSdCard)
+ aosp 4.4.x roms: export path of external storage, needed by some apis
12.12.2013:
+ merged samsung update for note2 (contains fixes for memory management, mali driver, lowmem killer option SEC_OOM_KILLER, new modem driver, ...)
+ backported cpu boost driver
Code:
When certain bursty and important events take place, it might take a while
for the current cpufreq governor to notice the new load and react to it.
That would result in poor user experience. To alleviate this, the cpu-boost
driver boosts the frequency of a CPU for a short duration to maintain good
user experience while the governor catches up.
Specifically, this commit deals with ensuring that when "important" tasks
migrate from a fast CPU to a slow CPU, the frequency of the slow CPU is
boosted to be at least as high as the fast CPU for a short duration.
Since this driver enforces the boost by hooking into standard cpufreq
ADJUST notifiers, it has several advantages:
- More portable across kernel versions where the cpufreq internals might
have been rewritten.
- Governor agnostic and hence works with multiple governors like
conservative, ondemand, interactive, etc.
- Does not affect the sampling period/logic of existing governors.
- Can have the boost period adjusted independent of governor sampling
period.
+ improve swap per google's suggestion
+ enabled SEC_OOM_KILLER:
Code:
This enables 'Android-Style oom-killer'
The way to select victim by oom-killer provided by
linux kernel is totally different from android policy.
Hence, it makes more sense that we select the oom victim
as android does when LMK is invoked.
+ switched to zswap (backported from linux 3.13) + vnswap instead of zram
03.12.2013:
+ gpu control: voltages are applied as deltas internally (no noticable change for users, this just was needed for the second change below)
+ gpu control: if gpu freq. gets changed by user, only reset its matching voltage, all other voltages stay untouched.
29.11.2013 part 2:
+ fixed apllying of custom gpu voltage
+ removed intellyplug driver (wasn't working properly, consumed much battery, made boot up take longer and it was unstable)
29.11.2013:
+ fixed: secondary rom no longer stuck at max freq.
+ gpu control: automatically set voltages according to changend freq (ported from yank555-lu), you can apply your own voltages after you have changed all freq (changing a freq, causes the voltages to be reset again)
26.11.2013:
+ added sepreate initramfs for cm11 and omni
+ recovery: fixed wiping of secondary filesystem
25.11.2013:
+ added support for omnirom, including dualboot
24.11.2013:
+ partial updated mali driver from SEA update 1 (this also fixes a typo in original implementation)
+ properly applied dualsound engine support, boeffla and scoobidoo (unlike other devs, this implementation only allows one sound mod to be active at a time. if you switch on boeffla (in boeffla app for example), scoobidoo gets disabled automatically. if you turn on scoobydoo in deviltools (new option), boeffla gets disabled automatically)
22.11.2013:
+ fixed hardware keys backlight settings and added more options to Deviltools
+ small fixes to gpu interface, compatible to new Deviltools
+ switched to latest boeffla sound engine
+ small mdnie related corrections
22.11.2013:
+ added gpu control, needs to be set manually for now.
- set frequencies (5 steps) :
echo "step0 step1 step2 step3 step4" > /sys/class/misc/gpu_control/gpu_clock_control
- set frequency-step thresholds (up & down)
echo "step0_up% step1_down% step1_up% step2_down% step2_up% step3_down% step3_up% step4_down%" > /sys/class/misc/gpu_control/gpu_clock_control
- set frequency-step voltage (5 steps) :
echo "step0 step1 step2 step3 step4" > /sys/class/misc/gpu_control/gpu_voltage_control
available voltages :
600000 - 1400000
