Sorry but still not managed to make Interop Unlock on my phone, I need help! That part has to do Diagnostic catch the XAP not working ... Can you give me a hand?
Download this file and extract all http://wp7roottools.com/index.php/d...nterop-unlock-for-1st-gen-samsung-wp7-devices follow the guide offered there. I've omnia w and it worked for me at 1st attempt. Good luck

in my gprs manager in the diagnostic menu with *#9908# there are 5 gprs profiles on my phone and

Install wireless manager from marketplace and then tap on apn, unselect automatic apn, then select any other service provider from the list below and close app. Now again do this all but this time select all as it was before. Do reply if its work or not.

do hard reset. And after that install wireless manager app, and then try interop unlock. Hope it works. And do click on THANKS button if you wish.
hi there, i have a developer's unlocked hd7 with limit to xap deployments...i can deploy only up until 2...i tried to interop unlock it but even if i did everything correct i still get an error for interop xap apps, like wp7root tools...is there anything else i can do??

Same thing here, tried pretty much everything, every instruction or tutorial i could find on the internet, but i'm still not able to unlock my samsung omnia 7... The steps that Maina16 forwarded have gone correctly according to the instructions but still i'm not able to deploy wp7 root tools... I'm slowly starting to lose hope with this

With the Omnia 7 you can install custom rom ...

i dont want to create a new thread, thats way i will use this thread and hope somebody can tell me the answer.
I have an Omnia7 and i want to backup all my messages. My phone has at the moment only the developer unlock.
On my phone there is the OS version 7.10.8862.144
And i want to do the interop unlock. My Phone was interop unlocked until i updated to WP 7.8 as it was released by microsoft. After this update i lost the interop unlock .
Now i want to ask you if it is possible to get the interop unlock back to install the homebrew app SMSBackup?
I read everyime hard reset... But when i do a hard reset all my messages will be deleted... and then i will not need to backup my messages anymore
So could you please help me?

I also have got the same problem as above but I've got omnia M, but it is also second generation, right? I made all tricks and both two methods from the Heathcliff74XDA Interop Unlock for 2nd gen Samsung WP7 devices but I dont have this position in GPRS manager so I cant tick it, I also have got developer unlock, and I also have got same error when tryin to deploy root tools. What did I mess? What else can I do?

Hi guys, hope you can help me.
I got a htc 7 mozart here, from a friend . He is asking me to see if I can do something about this issue on his phone,and by puting a new rom in it. First of all the problem is , there is a watermark on it wich says htc Confidential. how do I get rid of it. second he would like to have the newest custom rom.
I allready tryied the 3 files of nodo but when I tryied to flash the Phone: it says another nbf file is needed. it crashes back by 0%
I have no Idea how to find a solution. Is there a way to fix this Issue . thanks and wish you a nice day

i've never heard of this problem - where did he get the phone ? Sounds like it could've been stolen?
If so - get in touch with HTC - they may be willing to offer some incentive to get it back - or if not - what is the OS version and bootloader version? Could it be an early leak? Chevron team might want to take a look

can you start something with that?as i told you i will meet my friend next monday again hope someone can find a solution to the problem. if not its his problem. what he told me is that it seems that this phone is a prototype the firmware is also under 0.7. he got the phone from a stand where you get old stuff very cheap, and when he bought it the battery was very low so he didn't notice the watermark. I tryed my simcard and it works. he wants to use it, but not with that watermark. so i would be very gratefull if you tech guys out there can find a solution to the prob >>> we need an update to this nodo thing. every ruu i tryied failed with 1% rebooting directly the phone. Go to Settings > Cellular
Look for Data Connection, Set to Off
If you want to use the internet, switch it back on.

I understood that each device has different ways to get rooted.
If that is wrong I am sorry.
Now... I have a Vodafone 845 and saw great apps on market only for rooted devices.
Normally I would like to have those.
I surfed the xda Forum and found some discuss about this device but root links are to x10 (sony ericsson I believe).
Because of my understanding that confused me.
Anyway, I am dummy in android and did`t understand a lot from those procedures.
My request is: would you guys please make a step by step guide for dummies (with simply english) like me in android?

Hey bro I just saw ya post now, I too have a vodafone 845. What you must first do is root your device using superboot, and then you need to pur a custom recovery using amonra recovery. Our device is synonymous with the u8120. If you search for any roms dealing with u8120, you can use it on this device as well. You should connect the phone via usb to a win7 pc and then follow the directions on how to root etc. These directions can be found on the page that deals with Fresh Zodiac Fruit by Cedric. If you follow these directions to the letter you will have no problem rooting your device and installing a custom rom. Once you have a custom rom on, I would advise installing rom manager from the market. Once Rom manager is installed, flash Huawei Ideos 1 recover image. Then put cm7 u8120 slyking on your sd card and flash that, it is, as far as I am concerned, the best rom for this phone nowdays. When you got some experience using and flashing roms, download v6 supercharger and play around with that, you will be amazed at the results. Anyways bro, just remember vodafone 845=U8120. Once you got this, searching is easy.

From the moment I bought the phone I hated the calendar,
so I tried lots of calendar apps from the market and stopped the search when
I found aCalendar which suited me excelent.
yesterday after I rooted the phone I erased the original calendar.
This morning when I tried to open the aCalendar ...surprise,
the app didn`t open and the screen shown: OnCreate|NullPointerException null şi apoi OnResume|......
I restored to factory settings and nothing ... same message.
Would you help me please with that?

Firstly, apologies if this is a bit of a n00b question, i HAVE googled and searched these forums but have found some convoluted, old or confusing information and would like some straight and up to date answers if possible please. I have quite a complex ANDROID history, and flashing, unlocking, S-OFF-ing phones to me is straight forward enough but having moved to WP7 recently i feel a little out of my comfort zone.
My Device:
Phone Model: HTC 7 Mozart T8698
Windows Phone 7.8
FW revision number: 2250.21.51303.401
HW revision number: 0004
Radio SW version: 5.71.09.02a_22.51.50.21U
Radio HW version: A.102.0.D4
Bootloader version: 5.13.2250.3(135167)
Chip SOC Version: 2.2.5.0
Judging from the info above, i can work out that for a FULL unlock i need to downgrade the bootloader (i think)... If I manage to do this (using posts on these forums, a Y-cable, SD card, SD card reader and other magical bits of software) then what are the next steps to obtaining a Full unlock (and being able to install apps via side-load or XAP files)?
I am not bothered to have a custom ROM if I don't have to.
Also are there any NEGATIVE sides to having downgraded boot-loader, unlocked ROM etc? WP7 is great and I don't really want to upset certain features if I can help it!
Again, apologies for certain n00b type questions, i just hope that you understand that I haven't just dived in and asked silly questions, I HAVE tried to research already, but came up with confusion!

Hi, I actually found your post last night and dived straight in, managed to get Dynamics 2.0 on my phone with HSPL 1.30 installed. (Thanks to follow)... only issue i have now is (seeing as Im a WP7 n00b) that I cant seem to work out how to install XAP's - i've tried emailling them to myself, and placing on a google-drive then downloading with the google drive app, and finally pointing IE on my phone to said XAP... none of these seem to do anything for me... am I missing something?!?!?!

install this "vm_web.exe"

let it install (will require a restart) let it finish
then click windows start button scroll down to "windows phone developer tools"
the click "application deployment"
make sure u have zune up aswell then browse to your xap u want to install then click deploy
when finished look on your phone slide to the list and it should be there waiting for you

Just installing now, just a quick note for you... vm_web.exe is only compatible with Vista & 7, I am running XP SP3 on my machine so had to follow the (simple) instructions at this thread:

Ok, all installed, rebooted and kids picked up from school... Now all it seems to have installed is the following folders in my start menu:
Microsoft Expression
Microsoft Silverlight
Microsoft Silverlight 3 SDK
Microsoft Silverlight 4 SDK
Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Express
Microsoft XNA Game Studio 4.0
No sign of the things your directing me to? Im VERY confused now... Did I install the correct thing?!?!
mmm and u havent got windows phone developer tools right at the bottom of your list?
maybe try a search see if its somewhere else mate coz u on xp
