Can anyone upload Switch To Windows Phone *.apk here? I want to switch, but this app isn't available in my country and I don't know why.

You should try Google it yourselft first. There is no link to APK in Google yet, all pages links only to Google Play.

The irony of this ^ jerk's response is that googling it, brings you to this very forum thread.
I have very little respect for people who tell others to "Google it", on forums that are popular enough to become part of the Google results themselves. Sure, you perhaps cause that one single OP to do a bit more independent research the next time around, but you waste the time of hundreds of subsequent readers that land on your valueless comment AS THE RESULT OF DOING THEIR OWN RESEARCH.
Anyone have the APK?
I know you guys can download it from google play, but when I try it says 'This item cannot be installed in your device's country.' I get that a lot.
Usually I search APP apk and get it, but for this app everyone seems to be pointing to google play and that doesn't help me.
So If anyone knows a direct download for the APK please post it here thankyou.

hi everybody has anybody used this site,ive tried to download one or two apps but they use the tag reader system and i carnt get it to work.
It's not really clear on the site, but it looks like it may be an Android site. If it is, that may explain the trouble.
While surfing the page I found these statement under "how to download Apps"
It is often hard to find apps through Android Market, which is why I have included the QR codes (the funny looking squares) on my posts so you can scan them with your HTC phone and download the Apps straight away.

Not currently possible in the app, but it should be possible on the website.
Yeah on the website it works but whyyyy is Google not integrating it in the app.
Isn't there the possibility to integrate this function in a mod somehow?

Even on the website, the only options are by Popularity and by Relevance.
I wish i could sort by Rating, by Developer, alphabetically...
google seems to make it on purpose not to let you sort the results... MADAFAKAZ!! :x

It can barely find information about anyone asking about sorting results from play store. xda developers must be only ones who think outside the box.
How we can make it sort every search results as i want.
Like downloads, stars e.t.c.?
Sorting seems to have been removed from the website as well. Damn it Google, why must you turn everything to ****.
I've just had to reinstall after a full reset, and this has to be one of the worst aspects of the play store. I wish I understood programming, but is there anyone can make an app to fix this lack of sortability and lack of filtering?
I'm with @Newtoys, why does google always go one step to far and mess up perfectly good things?

If I was a developer, I would be reluctant to ever get involved,
how are potential customers supposed to find your App if you don't give it a name that sound too much alike all the other apps in the same category.
And Furthermore: I don't care about the icon, I want to be able to scan an encapsulation of the capacity of the app... Who cares what color the button is going to be on my screen !!!
If Google is the "Ultimate Search Engine" why then can't I use a Google search to go through the Play Store Apps..?

I am with you guys on this. Been wondering this for years now. I also found it weird that when I try and Google search this issue, this thread is the only one relevant to our problem. I'd be willing DL a modified play store app even. The worst is when I want to see about any new/updated apex themes and I have to browse a library of themes I've seen before.

lol, exact same f##@ up when im going thru Layers themes !! Usually we need the latest updated themes since they work as expected with updated AOSP Roms...but stupid google wont let me sort a list of apps by the 'last updated' date !!
Any 3rd party apps that browse the entire play store app catalogue and have the ability to sort them by their last updated date ?
same here... i want to sort apps by it size since the day start using play store but never see such feature or any proper useful sorting method in play store.. and when google for sprting apps, i end up right here... hope some1 has the solution for this... seriously...

i get the message
"Get google play services
This app wont run without google play services, which are missing from your device"
So i go to play store and download it however when it gets to the install bit
it says
"Incompatible with other application(s) using the same shared user id"
Any solutions to this please? (Without a solution to this i cant use any google apps or Youtube )

So you will not follow the RULES which you don't like?
It is a rule that we have to search before posting
The problem you posted was already solved on internet
It is not necessary that the problem you post is only on section or xda
It can be on the other forums too
And if you don't like our section to be clean(At the present track, it is the only way to keep it clean), then post where you want
I will however do my best to stop this flooding.

i did search and couldnt find my answer
i simply reinstalled the app from my titanium backup
It's said in the thread name. Is that normal or what should I do to get it right? I tried to search this subject but it's impossible to search as the search words are too common and I can't filter out the results I need. Please enlighten me in the subject matter...

So, 53 views - from which I guess 3 I can write on my own account - and nobody from 50 people uses Google Now... Really? That can only mean two things. Google has seriously f..ked up with the service, I mean if even one out of 50 people doesn't use it, it's definitely a fail. Or, a more probable reality is that not a single user from those 50 who actually has ever tried Google Now bothered to answer my question. This is EPIC fail, dear XDA-Developers Forum. It's not the community it used to be, where it was meant that users support each other. And that's really sad.

Thank You for Your effort! I am sorry, I wasn't being accurate in my original post. I was referring to the situation when I have a "package shipped" card in Google Now and there is a link below that - "View email". When clicking that one, I am redirected to browser instead Gmail app... I have Gmail app set as default for emails.

Hello everyone,
I need pointed to the right forum.
I recently purchased the above phone, my landphone died, this came second hand from eBay. It works perfectly, but I mainly wanted it because its Android, and I can use my Google contacts and not have to input them one by one. And because its Android!
The specs are on a photo attatched below. It is rooted with SU app installed and working.
I downloaded zipped Gapps for 2.3.5, extracted to folder, then put the folder on the ExtSD, then to IntSD.
My problem is this, it shipped with the SlideMe market, I'm trying, and failing to get Google Play sideloaded on it. There is no option to add a Google account of course, if I try to direct install, it gives the message "you need to add a google account", if I click yes, the app fc's. If I push the app to system/app, the same occurs.
I'm not the most technical Android guy, but I've been flashing etc, for a few years now, on various makes and models, but this has me stumped. I've had to flash Gapps before for ROM's, I've sideloaded apps too, but am I missing something here. What gives the extra option to add a Google account? I've done this before on a few tablets etc, never had a problem.
Where is it best to post/get some help? (and hopefully not be laughed at to hard!)
Someone posted a thread over this phone (years ago), 3 answers, nothing helpful.
