what does the htc one cost for existing tmobile customers? - T-Mobile HTC One (M7)

I can't check via their website since I don't have my number yet.
Thanks

it costs $580, for new and existing customers.
with well qualified credit or over 2 year tenure you can put $100 down and pay the rest over $20 installments for $24 months.
If you're on an older plan and think that sounds crazy visit your local T-Mobile store so they can explain it fully because it's alot better than an upgrade used to be.

Its not crazy considering a famil plan is $110 for for 5 lines now. Tmo rocks
Sent from my LS670 using Tapatalk 2

If you have good credit it will be 99 down and 20 a month to pay it off. If your credit isn't as good it will be 280 down but only 12.50 a month to pay it off. If you are on a grandfathered plan, at most you might be paying the same thing monthly that you are now, but usually it ends up being cheaper than you are paying now and you get a lot more for your money.

If you stay on classic, which we did because we have killer data deals for being customers forever, you can do upgrade pricing at Wal-Mart or Costco. It's not at Costco yet, but it's $150 for new contracts or upgrades.
The value plan seems to usually be cheaper, but if we can get the one for $50 (it's $150+tax and then the $100 rebate from htc) on a couple of our lines it's worth it to us to pay an extra $10/month.

Hahaha ya.... If you want only 500mb of 4g per line before it slows down

Works for my usage. 500 mb off is enough

If you are talking about the HTC phone trade in program, be wary. That program is extremely strict and if they deny your phone for any reason, you get an adjusted rebate or 0 - either way, you just gave up your phone by sending it in. In most cases, a CL, Swappa, or eBay sale would be much better.

Thanks, I tried to read all the fine print and we're sending in an old, rooted G1 for my wife so I'm not too worried, but now I'm rethinking my S3. I prob could sell it myself for more than the $210 they're offering.

S3s in great condition sell very well - usell quoted me 198 for my 16GB and you can usually bump that up 15-25% on a CL sale.

They go for much higher than that on eBay. It's the best place to sell it, all the other guys are middle men who take a cut and just list it in eBay

Was looking foward to getting it at Costco until the rep informed me today that they won't be selling the T-Mo One. At least for now.

DNA only $150 now

I've noticed the DNA is only $150 at Newegg, Radioshack, and even more websites. They all have the same interface and seem to be going through wirefly (I think). Newegg promised 1 day shipping, but all of them also said "ships when available". Still a good deal though, if you aren't in a hurry.

This says new account. I guess an upgrade wouldn't count even though it will require a new 2 year contract-

Just ordered one from radio Shack on Friday pm. Got a confirmation it shipped same day. It is 149.99 and with radio Shack you get a 10 cert for every 50 you spend. This was an upgrade also. New service is same deal too.

There are radio buttons on the right for more options. The price is the same for upgrading
If you order using wirefly use coupon code WIREFLYBLUE83 to get free Bluetooth headsets for however many phones you purchase at that time. There cheap $20 ones but hell there free, I think it's the renegade mini if anyone was curious.

Verizon Note 2 150 dollars on amazon
Also anytime you are dealing with commission there are also chargebacks. So no you arent making the salesman any commission. But if their chargebacks are abnormally high you could be getting them in trouble.

Got my Note 2 about little over 2 weeks ago for 189. PLUS got a $50 gift card that I applied towards the cost and end result was 149 bucks after tax.

If it's a reproducible problem you might be able to get out of restocking...if it's intermittent, probably not. The fee is $50.

I believe the restocking fee is $50 if you are returning the phone within the 14 days (retail store) or 20 days (t-mobile.com). Now sure if it changes if you are also canceling service.

It'll be a $50 fee for any exchange unless you can reproduce the issue and are exchanging for the same phone. If you have issues they will exchange it for the same model with no fee charge. If you want a different model, then a fee will be charged. Choose wisely

I am a RSA in a T-mobile Corp Store. From T-Mobiles return/exchange policy there is a $50 fee for return/exchange for most smartphones. Some of the smartphones have a $75 fee like the Note 2 and the Iphone 5. The Manger has to override the restocking fee and most mangers will not override it unless you can show us the problem in the store. There is no known issue right now about reboots in our internal system. I am not saying that it isn't a issue but I have yet to see any HTC One reboot that I have sold. Most of the time if you want to exchange the phone for the same model the fee is removed. If you want to change to a different phone or just do a full return the fee is almost always charged unless we see the problem.

T-Mobile also replaces your phone for one year (refurbished), or if you have the insurance bundle they will always replace it. They send it next day air, then you return the defective phone. It's $5 if you have insurance or $25 if you don't.

Its what we have been told when we tell customers. Its pretty much just like the new PHP costs. If you get PHP for your phone and the full bundle is $11.99 your phone most likely has a $75 restocking fee. I am sure it is because of the cost of the phone. The Note 2 is a $700 phone where the GS3 is a $500 phone. I know the HTC One for PHP is $11.99. We were told to put the $75 restocking fee sticker on the phone for customers to know. Also if you look your re receipt it talks about it there as well. I think T-Mobile calls the $75 ones super phones where the $50 ones are called smartphones.

I work at a Corp store as well and ALL smart phones ring up as $50 restocking fee . none are $75
Tablets however are $75

So it's $250 (port), $350 if your not porting

Contract price has been posted on sprint website today.
$250 with 2 yr contact (port your phone over). .
$350 (not porting)
Non-contract price is $699, not $799 (the bestbuy price).

In terms of price matching at Best Buy I had a bad experience. The manager in the cell department told me that they only price match the price of the corporate stores. That's it. Frys / Sam's club show it at $250, I had best buy price match that [kinda-- I just got a real friendly girl that helped me out too].
I too found out the hard way BB does NOT match online retailers [not to say some don't get lucky--BUT it does CLEARLY state it on their site].
So I talked to different stores, and I so happened to go to one a few cities away since the one in my town was lazy [the system was down and didn't to do it manually]. Luckily for me it worked out great!

Wouldn't it be worth going back and getting the price match retroactively for $100?
I added a fifth line to my SERO plan. They wouldn't give me $100 credit for porting a BOOST MOBILE number so I spent $10 on a Walmart Tracfone and port that number over. Corporate store had problem adding a 5th line to SERO without changing plan so I ended up calling it in. Now I got to wait on 2-5 days shipping.

so you bought the phone at 350, then realized you could price match, came back and did a price match after the fact? Or did you price match on the day and time you did the upgrade? Because I bought two note 3's October 4th and tried to price match today (about 6 days later) and was told no, you can only price match on the day of the fact.

Sorry I wasn't clear. By took my phone I meant my old E4GT (s2) and showed them on that. If you want the discounts try another person / manager in the store. If not then try another store. If all fails you can go the route of returning them within 14 days or threatening to unless they match the price.

I paid $107 at sprint store in CLT, NC by porting my home phone to Sprint and turned in my old phone they gave me $47 credit towards the note 3. I saved $40 a month on my home phone plan.

So upset and sold a bag of goods

I just got my sprint bill and found out that the one up deal that was explained to me in the store was wrong and I am now paying about $51 per month more than I should or was told I would.
Background info....I had 4 lines on the family program and decided to use the one up, or whatever that program is called, to get the Note 3. I was prepared to pay cash for it but the store told me how good a deal it was to use the rental monthly fee upgrade programs since I get new phones all the time. They said that the cost of the new program was like $29 per month extra but I had to trade a phone to get into the program. I thought this was a reasonable deal.
After reviewing my bill in detail today I see they took one line out of my family plan which I was paying $19 for and $10 per month for data and now charged me $50 plus $30 for the data as well as the $29 per month rental.
So in the end I lost my $19 family plan line, traded in a phone that was working well, and now pay $51 per month for the new plan plus the rental on a phone.
Called Sprint today and they said they can't help via customer support that only the store can fix this.
I know this is going to be a nightmare.
Has anyone of you experienced this or know how to escalate a store issue?

What you just described is why I bought my phone. No one-up unless you're in one of their everything plans, which if you have multiple lines with a shared minutes + unlimited data plans adds about $100 per month to your bill. Your better off buying the dang phone.

Exactly. They never explained all that. I am so upset since I was going to buy the phone. What do you think they will do for me ?

My sprint store here advised me against doing the one up because I do have the family data plan, she said I'd be an idiot to switch to the one up, plus they wanted my EVO LTE, wasn't going to happen. Hopefully you can get it fixed.

I strongly suggest that you call customer service or corporate (if you get flak from customer support), and reverse your choice if you don't like the deal they gave you. Even if you up your contract on your old plan, breaking later (say in one year, which happens to be the one-up timeline) is cheaper than the increased monthly fee you're facing. Over two years you'd have added $2,400 to your bill (that's three new phones).

Everyone has a different measure of price/value. I'm on a shared minute with unlimited data plan.
For me, a full 2 year contract discounted price is a huge waste of money ($150 phone + 100 per month = $2550 = No thank you).
One-up plan for one year forcing me to move at least my master line to one of the two unlimited everything plans is also a waste of money (35 per month for 20 months + 60 extra per month for 20 months = $1200 additional expense).
I buy the phone, don't change plans, stay off contact, one-time hit of $700.
I buy my own insurance policy, get my phone serviced same-day locally for any needed repair = total control.

They told me in the store today that those with the family or shared plan can now get a phone on the rental program and just have to pay the rental

Is the shared plan to which you refer a legacy shared minutes (landlines, etc) + unlimited data plan? If yes that's outstanding news.

That's what I was told

The new plans suck too... They throttle you to 1 mbps for media... As well as put you on a lower tier for data priority.
