Friends, been looking all over for a cellular signal strength widget other than numbers or bars... Need something like a circular battery widget or a gauge... Any clues?

Let's see if someone found some nice app. that integrates well with our phones.
I tried wisbar incl. advanced, gigabar and i'm not happy with them. i want some nice interface for the top part to match the dashboard today screens.
The problems with all consists in missing icons for the missed calls, signal strength ... etc.
Anyone ?

This is a great theme. I would like to give MrDSL a big thanks as he does not even have a MT4G to test this theme on. Oh and there is much more skinned than shows in the screen shots. Many of the apps like gmail, and market etc have also been reskinned. The market is a beautiful transparent with a touch of blue.
I will try to get some screen shots of this up today.

I think you have to get that wallpaper separately. I'm not where I can upload it right now. Maybe MrDSL can upload it.
It should have done the wallpaper with the theme but maybe its handled different on MY4G..You can get it here
How would I go about getting JUST the cool status bar? Really digging the battery speedometer. =0)
MrDSL for some reason the Wallpaper is not working. I did see your wallpaper in the framework-re.apk/drawable-hdpi but for some reason it is not installed or even available through the wallpapers function in settings.
MrDSL I have noticed a couple more minor things. The Google Search widget is completely transparent, not sure if this is by design? There are just 2 symbols on either side, the microphone and Google icon on the other, nothing in the middle but the text search. Also in the widget selection menu after selecting google search widget, the list of options or type of search widget, the icon for web is missing.
When you open up the search in the browser the microphone on the right side can't be seen as it is white in color and so it blends in with the search frame.
I hope this makes sense and I will later put up some screen shots for you.

Yeah the Google widget is transparent by design although that blue Google icon on the right isn't suppose to be there..I missed a image edit there..attached is how it should look..I will fix it later..its a market app so if you want just delete it and install it from market.
Personal preference I guess cause I like it transparent on my home screen and I know the icons are there

I've searched for an embarrassing amount of time to find where the 4g notification icons are located. I found some info in the og evo forum saying its in Settings.apk but i cannot find it anywhere in evo 3d. I'm mostly concerned w/finding the stat_notify_wimax_in_range, I believe. Left hand side notification 4g wifi symbol with exclamation. Can anyone direct me where to find this? Any help is greatly appreciated.

are you trying to find the way to remove that notification? If so, I made that mod in the other thread about this...Found Here
On page two, I posted links for the mod that I made to remove that (your 4g is on!) from the status bar.

I was hoping to match all my other icon edits. Just trying to add a bit of color but I think i'll be just fine removing it. Or help w/locating is great.

The 4G icon just bugs me being the only white icon(s) left. I literally looked thru every apk in 5 different roms trying to nail their location. May be going blind!

If youre trying to color the actual 4g icon (signal bar) that is located in systemUI.apk (res/drawables-hdmi) just look for the icon that most resembles the one your setup uses

Thanks again Vinchenzop. You're very helpfull but i still can't find that icon for 4g notification that pops on left of status bar. i have edited all of the ones in settings and systemUI but the dang thing is still white. not sure where it is but I can't find it anywhere. oh well!
I did use your removal zip and my status bar looks much better not having the one lone white icon. I really appreciate your help on this!
oh, and another thing, not sure if this will help anyone help me locate this mysterious icon but it has only 3 wifi bars above 4G and an exclamation. it pops on left of status bar when i am disconnected from 4g, and in notification pull down. i guess it is possible the rom i built from was missing the icon or maybe i deleted it somehow but i've also lookeded in other roms too and no luck finding it. if anyone has it, could you post it here and let me know what apk it's in?

Try doing a search in these APKs:
SystemUI.apk
framework-res.apk
com.htc.resources.apk
I'll take a look and see if I see it. It may very well be in HTC's Framework.
I have had my Galaxy s2 for almost a month and i just notices that there is blue bleeding on the top right on the call screen on the favorite icon as shown in the picture. You can see the same thing on the ap mobile too.
is that normal???
That "glowing" is there to indicate you can scroll the menu in that direction iirc

LOL. Well, not everyone knows. That feature is called Overscroll Glow and can be changed to whatever color fits your mood by editing framework-res.apk or flashing a theme.

Hi folks... I'm hoping someone can give me a quick answer to my silly question.
On my Transformer Prime (stock, latest OS), a launcher update wiped out some of my display settings, and in getting it set back up again, one thing is stumping me.
I used to have it so that on the slide-out side bar (show/hide via down-swipe) had only the icons I added, and the placeholder spots were empty/transparent.
Now those placeholder spots show a "+" icon... and I can't remember how to clear those, nor can I remember what that side bar is actually called, so I'm having no luck searching for my answer. The downside of turning 40.
Help is appreciated.
