What ROM supports 802.1x PEAP (if any) ? - Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Trying to connect to my corp network and having no luck. I've tried a couple of the advanced wifi editors, tried hacking my wpa_supplicant, but still no joy.
Tried bog standard Touchwiz, Android HD v24,25 and 30, Paranoid Android 3.15, Cyanogen 10.1 ............
Anybody got a suggestion of a ROM that supports 802.1X out of the box?
Note I do have to put in a Windows domain/user which may be another factor that's making it harder.
Oh and my Nexus 7 running PA 3.5 works.....
(or assistance to get my Android Revolution HD v25 working )
Thanks in advanced.

isn't the WiFi protocol more a kernel & hardware related issue then a ROM related one?

[Q] How to set up ad-hoc on Cyanogen 9 (ICS)

I'm using Cyanogen 9 alpha 3 on my Folio 100 and i think it's the best rom ever!
I need to use it with my nokia x6 hotspot which needs an ad-hoc connection to work.
Using wifi analyzer I can see the SSID, but (ofc) i can't connect to it because "my android device is still not supporting ad-hoc connections!".
I've tried to get it working with the following tutorial:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1438297
Unfrotunately I think the wp_supplicant file suggested is not appropriate for the Folio100, it is not working at all.
Any ideas or suggestions?
I need your help
Thanks.
I don't think there is any official solution for Ad-hoc ICS yet.
But i was searching for the same thing for my SGS2 and here is what i found
1) This Tool
2) This thread for HTC Sensation
3) And this thread too for the HTC Sensation
I didn't try any of them, so you are free to try!
Good Luck!

[Q] [HELP] Bluetooth connection problem on BT 4.0+ PC Adapter

In need of some help and guidance here.
Was going to write a story but I'll just lay out the facts.
SGS2 - Neatrom Lite 4.3 LSD, BT 3.0+ HS
U8510 - Eclipse ROM, BT 2.1
Laptop1 - windows 7 x64, Intel Centrino 6235 BT 4.0+ HS adapter
Laptop2 - windows 7 x86, ASUS USB BT 2.1 adapter
The S2 is 3.0+ and works fine on laptop 2 (BT 2.1)
The S2 doesn't work with laptop 1 adapter, both which should be capable of BT 3.0+ HS.
The Huawei U8510 is only BT 2.1 and works fine on laptop1 (BT4.0) and laptop2 (BT2.1)
Seems the s2 works fine on BT 2.1 but won't work with anything above that - which is what it was made to do in the first place!
I have tried 3 different Samsung base 4.1.2 ROM's - all with the same result. Is there a known "good" ROM I should test with?
Are there any different/additional settings I should be changing/checking?
Help? Anyone?

Hmm... CM10 by scritch007 worked for me on my XPERIA X10i when I tried it on an earlier version.
You'll still be using 802.11g, as 802.11n is not supported. Of interest I noted channels 12-13 are supported too, for countries that allows these channels. Maybe even 14 in Japan.
Did you attempt to connect to your AP in the initial connection wizard, before you had a chance to 'modify' your system and/or install additional software?
There is a Scritch007 CM10 forum post in the General section that may be able to assist you with known WiFi issues with a given version of CM10.

Changing Mac address

Is there any way to permanently change the mac address on my phone, evidently there is a bug in cm that causes the mac address not to be properly read and so a temp address, 00:90:4c:c5:12:38, is used. Problem is I just updated my z2 tablet to a lollipop rom and now both my phone and tablet have that same Mac address causing issues when I connect to my WiFi at home with both of them. This issue was also on the nexus 5 but was supposedly fixed so I'm hoping that a fix will come soon but in the meantime I'm trying to find a work around.
I'm currently on illusion 5.5 using the 777 kernel with multi rom, it sounds like it would be an issue on any cm based rom though, as I'm using a different rom on my tablet. Does anyone else have this Mac address, 00:90:4c:c5:12:38, on their phone or is it just me?
Dont do on lollipop it will brake you wifi and everything else only do kitkat lg
So there is no way to change my Mac address on lollipop then?
Not that I know of I mean you can try pryfi if you want but the beta i did and it didn't work but it did in the stock rom. I just don't think it's a good idea.
I tried to change my mac adress on my lg g3 d855, android version 4.4.2 and now my wifi won't work

What did you do? Is your mac address the same as the on mentioned in the op, is it a stock or cm based rom? I found an app that works for me for now, it's only temporary but it works in a pinch when my tablets mac reverts back to the bugged one mentioned in the op.
This is the app i use. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.wireless.macchanger&hl=en
Even though im very far behind the time, I figured if anyone needed this theyd see this. To change my mac address i installed xposed on my phone and a module called hijack suite free. From there you can spoof your mac persistently. Ive rebooted many times and i still have my spoofed mac. None of the other methods and apps have worked for my device this is the first. Im using the d850 on cm 12.1 with stock cm kernel

Regarding 6.1 USB tethering and stock ROMs

Hey folks,
I have a couple of questions, if you'd be so kind.
Firstly, upon updating to Android 6.1, will my USB tethering still be available (I am on Three, with 30gb of tetherable data)? I had previously updated my tablet to 6.1, only to find my USB tethering became disabled, and had to revert back -- I even tried all the fixes.
Secondly, will Android stock ROMs work on this device? Specifically the latest one.
Edit: and by stock I mean the Google Android ROMs found on Nexus devices.
Thank yee kindly.

Each device has a it's own ROMs. You cannot flash a ROM of another device. Doing so will brick your device. And therefore you cannot use ROMs of any other device on your moto e 2015.
But you can definitely try other ROMs that give stock experience.
