[REQ] Need Clock from Offical JB - DOH! - AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note I717

Decrapifying my i717 after the Offical update, decided after I got all the full apps out to nuke the useless Widgets... DOH! Accidentally nuked the Clock!
Any chance someone running the JB Official (Odexed, not a Deodexed ROM) release can grab the clock apk and odex file for me, or even better yet if you have already rooted and have TiBu, grab a backup for me to recover from!
Thanks!
EDIT: And Allshare Play... damn app scroll list reset!

[Q] Task Manager and Screenshot .apk?

Hi guys,
I updated today my tablet to the latest firmware and I really did not liked how Samsung "destroyed" the original retail theme. So I reverted back ASAP, to get rid of the huge bloatware.
However, I did liked the Task Manager and Screenshot option they added.
Do you know if it will work to install the .apk's into original retail version? If yes, could you be kind and provide me these files? The screenshot is not the most important... Many thanks.

[Q] Install Stock ICS gapps on Samsung ROM (XXLPJ))

Hi,
I have put the latest ICS leak on my SGS2 which funny enough I find better and more stable than the official XXLPQ.
The only things I miss are the stock ICS apps such as the ICS calendar, stock Email for Exchange, stock dialer/people apps etc ... but I also kind of like Touchwizz launcher and would like to keep it.
I have downloaded the latest gapps but is it safe to flash these over a Samsung ROM and would it bring the stock ICS apps that I am after?
I have searched on the forum and found few threads about stock apps but not really what I am after.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
Anyone can help for this?
I am trying to get the Email app from the CM9 ROM installed onto my LP3 stock Samsung ICS.
I have tried to copy Email.apk and Exchange.apk to /system/app but that doesn't work, the app is not visible under settings/applications...
I would love to get the stock ICS apps (sms, contacts, email, agenda) on the Samsung ROM (LP3) which I find very stable

[Q] install stock memo apk on custom rom

Hi all
I have a GS2 had stock operator ROM (Cellcom Israel 4.0.3)
backed up free titanium
installed pilotx JB rom and dual boot thin touchwiz JB
wanted to restore the stock memo app onto PilotX
titanium freezes when doing so
when I find the apk file, and click it tells me not installed
have tried to put the apk (including a deodexed version i found somewhere on XDA) into system/app (and data/app)
and reboot - all to no avail.
note that on my dual boot to thin touchwiz JB i CAN restore the memo app from titanium.
is this because this rom includes TW 5 - I think I read somewhere stock samsung apps require TW (??)
So is there a way to get the stock memo app onto pilot X?
is there a way to find a TW5 apk to put onto pilotX in hopes that after that I could restore the memo app?
(yes I have tried numerous memo apps from market, don't know why but I like stock samsung one best!)
thanks in advance for advice!

Click to collapse
you can only use those original samsung softwares on touchwiz based ROMs (meaning in fact custom roms based on stocks = "sammy roms")
so it's not possible to use them on aosp or aokp based roms if the touchwiz framework is not incorporated...and normally it's not because exactly the usage of easy theming and independence from samsung is the source of those roms.
So i don't know what pilotX rom is based on, but if not based on sammy it will probably not work

[Q] XT910 Android Calculator Question

Hello there friends! i got a Moto Razr XT910 ICS Version....i've flashed some JB ROMS on my phone that the stock calculator has the % key on it, ICS stock version doesnt have it....is there a way that i can upgrade or install just the calculator app from JB into my stock ICS version? i know that there are many apps that support this, but i just wanna simply use the stock one Thanks in advance!
Yes, u can. Just find calc app in your JB system/app folder, it should called like "calc.apk"
Then just replace your stock calc with that apk on ICS. (on ICS you should have root)
Thanks a lot! I'll be trying that!

[Q] AllShare and JB 4.1.2 want to install DLNA 2.0.0

Hi All.
I've recently flashed JB 4.1.2 (Samsung stock) onto my Galaxy S II and rooted. This was an upgrade from Gingerbread 2.3.6.
The JB rom has AllSharePlay and AllShareControl both of which are awful. I would like to re-install the original AllShare either 1.2 or 2.0.0.
I have the apks for these (1.2 deodexed and 2.0.0 odexed I believe).
I have tried placing these in /system/app, setting apt permissions and rebooting, as I understand is required with system apps like this.
1.2 seems runnable but then FCs after a second or two.
2.0 does not seem to install.
I have also tried installing these from zips in recovery mode both of which fail.
I have also tried recovering the Allshare 2.0.0 from a Titanium Backup taken from the old Gingerbread system. Needless to say this was unsuccessful
Can anyone help with this issue?
Or can anyone point me to a deodexed version of AllShare 2.0.0
Please don't suggest other DLNA apps like BubbleUPnP, iMediaShare etc, these are not what I'm looking for.
Cheers in advance.
Allshare on jellybean ...?
Bump.
Any help.
Allshare on jellybean ...?
I'd like to do the same.
Have SII, upgraded to JB 4.1.2. Want Allshare, not AllShare Play.
Please help.
Allshare on jellybean ...?
Bumping again...This must've be doable? Surely some genius ROM kitchen has managed this already...?
