[Q] Lock screen shortcuts randomly stop swiping action? - T-Mobile HTC One (M7)

I love the "swipe up an icon to launch that application" feature of the lock screen on the One. But I've noticed that (seemingly randomly) it just stops working. For instance, I'll grab the chrome icon and swipe up, and the phone won't register that I've grabbed anything, and the screen just unlocks. Rather than an icon floating with my swipe gesture -- the lockscreen just fades out and then the phone displays whatever activity was open when the screen was turned off (almost like I've grabbed the lock icon, though I haven't). Has anyone else experienced this? And how can i get it to go back to the default behavior?

Did you install any kind of notifier that would display on top of the lock screen? I found out that after installing Notifierpro with accessibility services turned on it messed up the Sense lock screen.
I have posted my experience on a different thread and did not see your post. I just thought maybe you are experiencing the same problem.

Mine sorta does the same thing. Sometimes I will grab an icon (any icon for that matter) and it won register the swipe at all, It won't even bother unlocking and it wont register any swiping at all until I do one of two things
- I will have to hit the power button twice to sleep and wake the device then swipe to unlock
or
- Hit the Home or Back button then swipe to unlock
anyone experience this? hope this helps

Dragging shortcuts on lock screen doesn't work

I just flashed back to bone-stock a few days ago, build 1.26.502.12. When I'm on the lock screen, I can only drag the shortcuts I have set there up right after I reboot the phone. Any other time, like if I lock my phone and then go back to the lock screen, those apps don't respond to touch and I can only drag the unlock icon. Anyone know what's up with that? Is that a common bug, or a setting somewhere?

It is possible to unlock the pattern screen without the pattern

I have a sunia, stock 5.1. It has pattern activated on the lock screen. Sometimes it is possible to unlock it without the pattern.
How did I do it?
I leave a notification on the lock screen, I swipe fast (from right to left) to dismiss it. Then I swipe from bottom to top and phone unlocks. Usually this has to be done in one fast movement.
Another way is having a music player notification (I tried with soundcloud). On the lock screen, drag from top to bottom. The notification gets bigger. Pull the quick settings panel a couple of times, then touch the notification and the phone unlocks without the pattern.
Can you guys try this and see and confirm it?

Lock screen behaves different in Marshmallow

After the Marshmallow upgrade, I have noticed something is now different in the way the lock screen behaves: Before Marshmallow, if I had the lock screen set to knock code, and say, a lock timer set to 5 minutes, after the screen went off, if I turned the screen back on before the 5 minute timer, I would have to swipe to unlock. Now, in Marshmallow, once the screen goes off (timeout or manually), as soon as I turn it back on, it goes straight to the home screen, and does not ask to swipe to unlock. In fact, the only way to see settings for the swipe to unlock is by setting the lock screen to swipe. If I have lock screen set to knock code, I can't even see the settings for swipe, such as the screen swipe effect, or the shortcuts for the lock screen. That was certainly not the case before Marshmallow, where I could set up knock code, and at the same time, set up swipe effect and shortcuts, to be used before the timer for the secure lock kicked in.
It is not just my phone. My wife's G3 is now doing the exact same thing. I am curious if this is by design, or a bug in Marshmallow. I kind of liked the swipe to unlock before the timer engages the knock code. Without it, you don't get the swipe screen, therefore you can't quickly see or use the shortcuts, and also you don't see a quick glance of notifications, and I'm also afraid the phone could accidentally make a call or something else if in my pocket.
Has this happened to you? thoughts?
Same here
Updated this morning and noticed the same thing and since my work email enforces a policy that makes me have a PIN, I can't even switch to swipe lock screen temporarily. The option is grayed out. Plus, I hate the PIN lock screen white buttons.

[REQ] Stopping/disabling/removing 'tap to wake' lockscreen or similar

MTK phone, CM12.1, and doesnt have an option to turn tap to wake off, In gestures or in display, I know it should as google tells me it should, but it doesnt. This is on CM12, or resurrection remix, or crdroid, or pacman rom.... none have the option to turn it off. So in my jeans my phone keeps waking up and doing stuff in my pocket. Tried a pin or a pattern but it ends up opening emergency call and typing hundreds of numbers. All this is wasting battery. So... how can I either get rid of tap to wake lock screen, or completely remove the emergency call button. Gravity box USED to have the option, but doesnt now and some xposed lock screen apps hide the writing for it, but its still there. So am looking for:
disabling tap to wake lockscreen
removing the emergency call option completely.
removing the lockscreen completely.
A new lockscreen with NO notifications, nothing extra (tried zui but hated that slide up settings thing)
any of these fixed is great.
Can anyone tell me what its actually called within the ROM? Something I can delete before I flash a rom, to stop it working?
ANY help appreciated.

Pie screen rotation toggle missing with full screen gestures & hidden hints.

Hi,
Have any of you guys experienced this bug?
After updating to android Pie, we get this small icon on the bottom right of the screen after rotating your phone. You can touch it to rotate the screen or if you ignore it, it will disappear by itself after a few seconds. Recently I have been experimenting with full screen gestures and I liked it a lot. I have no issue with the gesture hints turned on, but I noticed that if I hide the gesture hints, the small icon also stop working after awhile. It does not stop working immediately, so after I turned the hint off it still appears if I rotate the screen, but minutes later (probably 15-20 minutes), if I turn the phone sideways, the button does not appear. I have to rotate through the notification panel (the old way) or I have to turn the navigation bar back to button or turn on the hints to get the small icon back (only for it to go missing again a few minutes after I hide the hints again).
I use full screen gestures without hints and it works fine on my phone. Maybe try to reset your settings and report the bug.
