Yesterday i tried to install this rom(http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1889581 ,Xperia Fidelity JB v1.0 (JB) on my Xperia U ST25a, so i went to recovery and install it as normal and the install was succesfull,but when i turned on my phone again the wallpaper took a lot of time to load and they will apear a lot of windows on my phone saying"system UI has stopped working would you like to close it?",and a lot of crashes, so i tried to factory reset it and i did, but when i turned on again after the factory reset the phone will do the same, oh and the CMW recovery is gone, i cant connect it to the computer to install it again, it says "USB connectivity has crashed" and the worst part is that when i try to download an apk from internet it says that SD card is required to download the file(but xperia u doesn't have a SD slot!),now i cant remove the rom i installed and my recovery and notification bar are gone,and when someone is calling me the phone will just vibrate but it wont show the answer/deny screen, i just can send sms and call please help me with this,this is frustrating!

that's weird... here's a possible workaround but you're gonna need another android phone or something else that you can bluetooth things over to your phone with. ok, so you still have root access hopefully. so first lets solve the recovery problem, download the latest apk you can find for rom manager of the internet, bluetooth it to your phone. install, through this install cwm recovery, now bluetooth a rom and gapps you know are stable to your phone, finally boot into CWM and install. hope this works!

Yeah, i have root acces still and the playstore still works, i already have rom manager, when i enter the program it will tell me"SD card needs to be mounted before using rom manager" well, i just press ok and the program will work "properly"(i think) , so i go to the recovery setup option and i try to to install and i select CMW 3.x+ and it tells me that the operation has been succesfull now i try tp reboot into recovery and it wont work still

I accidentally factory restored my phone this morning. But that is not the pickle. At the end of the initial account setup, the phone force closes the setup. And after that I don't see anything on the screen except for the notification bar. I can work with the notification bar that is switch on/off GPS, data, etc. But rest of the screen is black. Since the screen is black, Cant access any setting and toggle USB debugging to use KDZ. Can get calls and use the settings that come up there. But I guess that's about it. I think this is happening cause the option to setup Google account don't come up during initial setup. What can I do? Any ideas other than going to the service center?

No it was factory restored. Stock ROM. NO recovery.
try hard reset again and wait till it boots

Tried it all many times. there seems to be some bug in the new update, or something.

Well thanx every one. I used KDZ and flashed the froyo rom. Its working now. Thanx again.
After I restarted my Cell the boot animation keeps on replaying after the slight vibrate, same thing hapens for 10 mins then the mobile starts.
Its not normal

U shud probably try
1-unmount sdcard/ check last installed application which might caused this
2-take all backups and go to cwm recovery and clear user data and caches.
3-If all these doesnt solve, then reflash cm7!

Found a partial solution after formatting the cell twice like a fool
Last night while playing Dangerous chambers 3D or somthing my cell got hanged.
Later it wouldnt restart or anything so had to pull out the battery.
After it started it went into loop mode.
I got worried
Formatted it once.
All ok later then again after some apps it went in loop mode.
Couldnt figure out which app was causing the prob.
Then today morning after some reasearch found out that:
In CM7 settings in settings menu> Tablet tweaks> disable lock screen> Tick
This is what i used to do to use an alternate lock screen.
After removing the check all is fine untill now.
Will update if anything happens next.
I also met this problem when trying to develop a CM7 ROM myself (from HPA CM7 BETA2). My problems are:
1. After building successfully, apps inside the output /system/app folder are bigger (in size, of course) than the original HPA ROM (ADWLauncher in HPA is 731.5K, and mine after building is 1M)
2. After flashing to DV, my phone hangs at the CM7 logo. It's OK to type "sudo adb devices" to see that my device is attached, but then any command other than that will receive "error: closed"

hi guys.. just want to ask whether how to solve the bugs that happened in my phone - N7000 Galaxy note
What happened is , I've successfully rooted my device with using cwm and super user installer, flashing them at the power + vol up + menu button ( i forgot what they called that as, im a noob... :S )
Then I start to use those application that needs root access. Like lucky patcher , root explorer and beats audio
One day when i restart my device, before going into the launcher it shows that " Android is upgrading " and restarting the apps. But after i enter to the launcher there isn't any update at all. And this time onwards everytime my phone restart it will shows that my android is upgrading.. and nothing happens , repeatedly.
I've updated to the latest beats audio and the problems starts here :
in the latest beats audio there's an uninstaller inside the installer. I was trying to upgrade my phone to jelly bean via kies. and I go to uninstall that beats audio with using the uninstaller inside the installer.
And after it auto restarts it seems like haven't clear the application, but it says that my phone is not installed with beats audio. ( I think that app itself remained as an installer ) so i go and uninstall that installer.
And then i was checking in xda's forums bout how to unroot my phone. Before that I've seen inside my super user, there's a "Unroot" services provided at the back of the setting. And since i don't understand what are the forumers talking about because im a noob... I tried to unroot using that since it looks easy ( just one click and its done i guess ) then I press on it...... and my phone's super user had been removed.
After I restarted my note, whenever i try to input text or type using swype, it HANG non stop then suddenly shows up , process system not working or something.. ?? And then i keeps on restarting my phone but the problem still exists. Then i got fed up and do hard reset at the startup android there.. wipe away all datas and all.
But, after i enter again the problem still exists. which is Process system not working and whenever i wanted to key in texts, ( whatever keyboard it is, stock or swype ) the phone HANG,

So i wanted to install CM11 from slim bean 4.2.2 build 8 on my vibrant, but when i rebooted into cwm and tried to flash it, status 7 showed up.
Another problem is that i cannot access the mount usb storage, when i do i hear the usb disconnecting sound from my computer although it never connected and nothing shows up. How would i go about doing this? Is it possible to recover?
EDIT1: im trying to restore my backup from before i did this, and if this works how do i get rid of the status 7 when trying to flash new rom?
What I try to do is work my way up to the build, so if it is a 4.2 build, then try installing a 4.1 build first and work your way up to it might help, I've also noticed that I might get status 7 then if I go under advanced, then reboot recovery that somehow solves it. And for your usb problem can you still at least access your sd card through cwm? Let me know how it goes
I am deleted my only Launcher with KingRoot and now everything disappeared I can only see the time and when I am enter into recovery mode everything in chinese. I tried the .... e MMC but the phone restart and again nothing happens, please help.
Well.. that is something i haven't heard before, an android phone without launcher :-?. I guess you can't open any app to install one. However, if you have a connected google account, you can try to log on PC (play google.com) and download a launcher (and it will automatically download on phone if it's open and if it have an internet connection).
And if what Raddub suggested doesn't work, you can make a Factory Reset, right?
Factory reset won't install his launcher back... if my method doesn't work he should reflash via SP Flash Tool his stock rom.
