You can also try Tv Shows Stream, its a very good app for streaming with aaaaaaall series

Dont forget to klick thanks
Just looked up DroidTV on the MArket. Sounds like an amazing app, but it lists Archos tablets as not appropriate. Thats a shame as it would have looked great on such a big screen ....

Yap Tv Show Stream is quite nice, you can see all series but the disadvantage is that not all movies are in there (maybe because that app is quite new)
You can find it in the market or here

evo3D screen mirrioring over wifi

Hi All,
I searched the net but couldn't really find much on this. Is there a way to do screen mirrioring to a pc over wifi? I have my pc connected to the big screen tv and it would be awesome to share my evo3d's screen on the tv.
Cheers
Here you go, pal

dnla doesnt do screen mirroring on the 3d does it? ive only been able share media like a server.
Hey bud,
Thanks for ur reply, dlna is an option and would work well for sharing media files. But from wat i understand it will not support screen mirroring so far the only way to mirror the evo3d on big screen that i've found is a device by xbounds but i dont really wana spend $139 just to be able to do this. There has to be another way or server/client app to mirror the screen on pc.
I've recently seen the light and made the switch to android from iphone ios actually does screen mirrioring with apple tv very well so i am sure android should be able to do this as well (and better)
Anyone?
Cheers

[Q] TV remote control app for sony Blu Ray

Hello, this is my first post here.
I am new/noob to Android/Mobile devices, i have a Transformer Prime-LOVE IT!!!
I was a lucky one and had very few problems with mine.
I did have a GPS and low WIFI problems, but i did the "Pinch" along the edges and it got my GPS working fine and it doubled my WIFI speeds.
I bought a Sony Blu Ray player (model #BDP-S580) and hooked it up (Samsung 50" Plasma) and all is running fine.
On the box it said use "Media Remote" app for a remote control.
So i went to the app market to download it, but it said it wasn't compatible with my Transformer Prime.
Question-Is there a app that i can use to use my Prime as a remote control?
Thanx

Edit /system/build.prop and change tv.hideStatusBar.enable to false
Stuttering
Change you Netflix quality to the middle one. I had issues with the top quality setting.
So I have both the Jynxbox HD and also the mini HD.
Both came with a remote but the mini remote does not have the gyro or acts like a mouse.
Any ideas why the Jynxbox HD remote will not work on the mini except the power button?
I looked at the remote.conf in /system/etc and they are the same between the 2 models.
I have taken both your ROMs links above apart and I do not see the reason why? In fact both ROMs look 100% the same?
Build.prop model= the same device model. I think there is no difference between them that I can see.
Might be a hardware thing between them for the IR remote? Any ideas?
Also the remotes are NOT 2.4 as the specs say. Both are IR.
One thing I will say. Thanks for startin this thread. There is not much info on these devices out there! I am learning these devices the hard way!

The HD remote needs the included USB dongle plugged in to work as a Gyro. If you plugin the dongle to the Mini it should behave like an airmouse/gyro.

I noticed they look 100% identical myself, but I wanted to post what I yanked from each device regardless. Gives the dev's more to play with in the end. The remotes should work with either device. I have both on the same desk and ended up discontinuing use of the remotes due to cross over.

There is also some discussion happening on Freenode in the #xbmcandroid channel. AdamOutler, Entropy512 and I have been discussing some of the various bits the last few days.
exFAT Support
I can confirm an exFAT filesystem created from Windows 7, written to from Linux using the FUSE filesystem driver can be read on the JynxBox HD.
Hey there,
Been playing with the Jynxbox HD and Mini. I've been using a 3TB HDD for my local content and Jynxbox is able to read it. It's formatted to NTFS so I guess external HDD's up to 3TB and NTFS are supported.
Hope that helps someone out
Possible Video Decode Chip
Poking around the openlinux site that AMLogic maintains I found the below link. It looks like they are using a Synopsys ARC chip for video decode.

*Solved* (Make sure your tv set supports 1080p for the Jynxbox Android HD box.)

Not sure offhand. I don't believe mine changes the LED colors much, just shows them lit or flickering if memory serves.

Not that I am aware of. Do you know of a possible candidate ROM to test?
There has been some discussion of building a Cyanogen based ROM... But, there is a lot of work that would need to go into it and a good copy of the kernel is going to be needed.

There is a thread on pivosforums that outlines the fix for netflix. Having said that: I applied the fix and found the netflix playback to be a bit lacking. On the full quality setting I had a lot of stuttering and buffering problems. Dropping the quality down to a level resulted in pretty poor quality on my TV.
cwm

Last I had heard there is not a clockwork recovery available for this device. Where did you find a cwm image (link if possible).
This is a version of the Linux image that works for Jynxbox Android HD and mini (wifi is not working on mini).

Here is a version of XBMC with Hardware Acceleration for the Jynxbox:

Working well.
Here is the version from the Gbox modified to work on the Jynxbox. I found it on some other forums.

Please discuss any issues with the first version.
This is a patch update file for the Jynxbox Android HD that will allow Netflix to works. Its not working full screen but at least you get to watch it.

When you run upgrade->local update, it will not list below files on Jynxbox Android HD box automatically, please press menu button on remote controls 8 times for it to show up.
I haven't tested it on the mini yet. But I assume it will works because both devices are the same build.
This is for Hulu Plus the Landscape version: LandscapeModHuluPlus.apk

Displaying Xperia Z2 screen on windows PC

Hi,
I have an Xperia Z2 tablet and I need to do a presentation of some software on the tablet to an audience.
Is there a way I can display the tablet screen on a PC (Windows)??
I tried teamviewer but it's pretty slow.
Someone suggest Mobizen (from play store) - but it's only for Samsung.
Suggestions?
Cheers,
Ian.
Use a Chromecast? My PC monitors all have HDMI so it's the solution that works for me.
Hi,
Thanks for the reply, thats also what I'd decided.
Cheers,
Ian
Don't dual post. Can a mod remove or merge this thread with the other he created in the general forum.
