HOW TO INSTALL
copy zip to sdcard/extsdcard
boot to CWM
make full backup
wipe data/factory reset
wipe cache partition
wipe dalvik cache
install ROM from sdcard
frist install BASE ROM package
then install latest update package (if available in download section)
wait for boot
First boot can take some minutes, be patient.
INFORMATION
from ROM were removed both in-build web browsers, so install which you prefer - I use opera
device status after flash is Official, but it is fake info
samsung kies not supported
this ROM is here how is it without any warranty
please don't ask for missing *.apk upload, I will not answer this requirement. There is download link in second post for all original apps.

fixed issue with dissepearing brightness slider after reboot
NEW mod - skip tracks with volume buttons with of/off toogle in sound settings

I didn't write "format" sdcard. Wipe data/factory reset will only remove all instaled apps and settings. Your photos, music ... will still be there.

Decompile framework-res.apk, locate res\values\bools.xml, find "bool name="config_allowAllRotations">false</bool>" and change it to "true".

I need your help to explain it
It will add funcionality for back button - if you are in some app and will long press back button, the app will be forced close. It is useful if some app freezes or if you wan't to have that app stay in memory. It works like some task killer.

I've rooted it and backed everything up with TitaniumBackup, including settings, etc, so I'm good for backups.
Here's a list of the currently installed system apps, some of which aren't really self-explainatory and googling them gives me no help at all, which ones can I first safely test by freezing, and then when finding out there's no problems, deleting? I couldn't find any such lists available for this phone.
Some are obvious of course like YouTube, or Maps, but are those really 'bloatware' that slow the phone down during normal operation?

Thanks a lot! I just hate all the bloat that came with gapps for 4.4 . I know I can delete them on the zip, but you know, lazyness... :silly: Waiting for it

Well, I don't need the gapps, but can I use only your installer to install Viper4Android?
Yes, you can but it not necessary to use aroma installer if you want only V4A, just download it from official site or zhuhang's thread and install like any other apk.

aye, those are all more or less built on the same base.
Copy the zip file in your SD card (copy in root folder) before installing CM10.2 ROM Releases
Install CM10.2 in your device.
After successfull CM10.2 installation, choose this CM10.2_Custom_Aroma_GApps.zip.

No, you don't need to reflash the ROM. Just flash gaaps. I've just done the same with KitKat, and it is working

READ BEFORE FLASHING:
Omega Rom can be flashed only with a custom recovery.
This mean the knox will be triggered and your warranty will be void, more info:

Installation for Omega with android 6.0.1 - N910F:
1. Backup your device (nadroid backup, titanium backup, efs backup ... etc) and save the backup to a safe place.
2. Flash the latest TWRP recovery
3. Shut down device and then Boot device to Download mode
4. Flash with Odin version 3.10 or newer:
Bootloader XXS1DPE7 and Modems XXU1DPB1
Select at BL the Bootloader file: N910F_XXS1DPE7_Bootloader.tar
Select at AP the Modems file: N910F_XXU1DPB1_GSM_Modem_and_LTE_Modem.tar
and then press start. When android loads check with app Samsung info if the Bootloader and Modems flashed correctly
If you already have Samsung's Android 6.0.1 bootloader and modems you can skip this step
5. Boot to the latest TWRP recovery and flash Omega.
If you get an error from TWRP "some symlinks failed" reboot recovery and flash Omega rom without wiping system partition.
PLEASE FOLLOW THE EASY INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS ELSE YOU WILL HAVE VARIOUS ISSUES!

Update repo to Omega Files Pro to get the updates for v1.0
Please read the following before flashing v1.0:
Omega Files Repo:
Omega Files repo is ready and included in Omega Files Free and Pro
Wipe:
Omega v1.0 is a Full wipe Rom
Backup:
Make sure to make and keep in a safe place an efs backup - nadroid backup - titanium backup - etc, in case you ever need to restore!
Installation Instructions:
1. Backup your device (nadroid backup, titanium backup, efs backup ... etc) and save the backup to a safe place.
2. Flash the latest Recovery
3. Boot to recovery, and Install Omega rom with Full Wipe
*** If you are using PhilZ Touch Recovery flash rom only from the internal sdcard, from external you will get FC ***
PLEASE FOLLOW THE EASY INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS ELSE YOU WILL HAVE VARIOUS ISSUES!

Not all mods are compatible with Kit Kat Omega.
If you have an issues first remove all modules from xposed framework, reboot device and if the issue still exists then report it here.
Tips:
*Private mode: Enable Private mode with xposed module XSecureStorage
*Call Recording Save Folder : Device storage > Call
*To change Battery icons use Omegas 3Minit Battery's app
*3Minit Battery mod can be removed from Omega Files
*Change Battery icons to Stock from 3Minit Battery app if you want to keep Sfinder small button at Notification Panel
*SuperSu: Open SuperSu and update SU binary, then choose normal and reboot device.

You have no Idea how long i have been waiting for this Rom and i Actually Picked my Upgrading hoping this would come out. I had your Rom for the S3 and then had it changed to the LTE Version and i asked for your Rom to be pleased released on the LTE. I've have been waiting Literally Years to get back on your Rom!!
