Installation Guide:
Connect Galaxy Y or Any LDPI Android Device to computer using USB cable.
Now move the downloaded[.zip] Rename It bootanimation.zip file to the phone’s memory.
Disconnect your device from computer.
Open either “Root Explorer” on android device and copy the bootanimation.zip to /system/media folder.
Select the file and change the permissions....

evo x3 doesnt supports bootanimation. u hav to use bootenabler by deathnotice.... here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1576084

actually i did a little mistake !!! i didnt mount the r\o at the first tym n when i trying setting the correct permissions u gave above after mouting it " it says that the zip file s read only ":crying: is there any way to revert back and im afraid that i dont have a back up either of the orginal :crying:

This mod should work with all stock, and modded sony ericsson frameworks. Tested on .24, and .504 - works like a charm.
NOT TESTED ON X8! (but probably working...) And NOT FOR CM6/7, and all other custom / non-SE based roms, sorry... Only SE FW!

Tutorial HOW-TO-INSTALL:
- Open framework-res.apk with 7zip
- Select "res" folder from downloaded archive, and drag him to opened 7zip window
- When prompted "Are sure You want to copy...?" select "YES"
- Close 7zip
- Push framework-res.apk to your phone

Please have in mind, that it's the only fast, and safe method. Don't try to update framework-res.apk another way, or You get a bricked phone after pushing file to system folder!
If You aren't sure how to do this please ask. Asking don't cost, and can protect from messing up Your phone!
The safest way to push framework-res.apk to Your phone is using ADB Mask Controller. When You f*ck up Your phone is always a chance to get back with this app. Please be careful, and read everything before You try to install!

for those who like the green side!
in the pictures below you can see which icons are changed and an preview of the iconset.
there are nearly 140 icons in this set and its only a green mod of the prodigal sun iconpack that you can find in the market.
special thanks for this mod goes to loveboatcaptain
you have to install everything with rootexplorer or adb exept the icon set...
push it to sd and install in the normal way as iconset
my changes only for battery, statusbar and screen of animation. thats all... you have to do the rest with the iconset.
TESTED WITH .181 FIRMWARE - WORKS !
TESTED WITH .184 FIRMWARE by rustynuts34 - WORKS !

YESSS... put the framework in the framework folder and the SystemUI in the app folder. before you do that change the permissions.
now you only have to replace the files.

Nice boot .. Try to make it loop because it gives a black screen when the animation ends

I used Root Toolbox PRO for removing it. It worked like a charm.

Propably depends on a phone. I have it in /system/media/bootanimtion.zip
P.S. Removing the bootanimation will set the default android bootanimation (blue text of "android") << to remove this You should edit Your framework-res.apk

Thats fine as long as there isnt an animation. I have a friend with the same phone as I do and it takes his phone less than 10 seconds to boot. It takes mine around 5 minutes.
EDIT- Deleting the boot animation in the system/media folder didnt get rid of the boot screen.

I didnt. I just switched to it. The one I had was a white back ground. Said MIUI in blue and had an Android in the bottom right corner.
Anyone? I deleted the boot animation in the system/media folder and nothing.

This is Rosemary font from Galaxy S3.. Its my favourite font so I extracted it fom my brother's S3
Just download the atachment below.. its a zip file..
extract it ( u'll get 3 files in it..)
copy those three files to ur "system/ fonts" folder n change permissions as "rw--r--r" for all three files after pasting..
reboot ur phone.. Enjoy

By font changer! I don't think so.. because there are 3 files in this zip to change the whole font!
And moving fonts to system/ fonts means ur phone is rooted

Has someone tried in SGS II? If its safe, den I will try it else no use.
I tried a zip and after installing, I got stuck in indefinite loop of reboot and to restore, I had to loose some of my data by reinstalling my backup image from CWM
