hi to all,
i am new in this forum and in android scene, so i dont knwo very much of android. but i have some troubles with my sony xperia p.
i am using nemesis v5.1 jb kernel in combination with enigma-rom 4.4....i used this combination for about 3-4 days, but since yesterday i get no connection with my mobile provider, using umts/wcdma of gsm. and looking in the system info i cann't see any information about smallband-firmware because it is empty. that means that the software for my baseband-chip is corrupted.....any one knows how this is possible? because i sed enigma-rom 4.4 for 3 days with no problems. and suddenly now this baseband or smallband problems.....
i have the same problem if you are coming from cyanogemod flash stock ftf first

Im using Xperia Neo V for the past 8 months.
and there is a bug. Not sure whether i can call it a bug
on the sony ics 4.0.4 (updated it one month ago)
when i insert the sim and boot it loads up till the home screen and then it restarts
again and again and when i tried booting without the sim it works fine.
So my question is if i flash a custom rom will that bug be fixed?
Im nt sure whether its a hardware prob or software issue
Ive tried Software update, OS update, Software repair and the problem still persists. HELP.
I've had this problem for a while now. I flashed my Sony Xperia Ray to ICS a while back and the signal strength has been terrible (2G and 3G). A lot of the time I get no signal at all. I experience 9/10, 1 bar of 3G signal and when switching to 2G there is no signal at all. What could be causing this??
I've tried updating the baseband to ST18i_8x55A-AAABQOAZM-203028G-72 and I have currently updated it to ST18i_8x55A-AAABQOAZM-203028G-77. But this hasn't resolved the issue. :crying:
In other attempts I have tried flashing different kernels and roms and have tried the Sony's PC Companion by flashing it back to the original Official Sony Gingerbread Stock. BUT I have been unable to sort it because I can't seem to locate a official Sony kernel in order to do the official update process.
Any ideas on how I could attempt to resolve this?
P.S. my network provider: Vodafone UK.

Hi
Try some build.prop rules.
There are some 3G and UMTS dedicated tricks, look fot them trough the forum!
Hey,
Thanks for replying. I've had a look at this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1881401&highlight=build+prop+3g
Um, I'm having a go at step 1 and located the build.prop file. I'm getting a bit confused however as a lot of the code from this page isn't in my file (bits are though which I've changed). Do you think I would just copy + paste it in at the bottom. In all honestly I'm no Wiz... Perhaps I'll ask the guy that coded it all up.
ALSO, I've flashed on Step 2. 2. sysctl.conf = Data speed increase (wifi/3g/4g) - a little better but this hasn't fixed it.
Thanks for the help
Hello,
I am using latest nightly from Legacy Xperia rom on my Xperia Mini Pro and everything seems to work ok except for bluetooth. I read in older posts that there is a way to get it going by using a different rom or something like that, but i don't know which rom i need then and where i can get it.
I can see the bluetooth device (my carkit) and i can enter a connection code when trying to link, but after entering the code nothing happens and the phone jumps back to the list with found devices.......
I did flash the kernel rom from the nightly build and wiped the phone completely.
I'm posting here becase I don't have enough posts yet to post in the dev forum....
Anyone have this working or knows how to solve this ??

Hey there guys,
I recently hit a problem on rooting and installing cm10 on an Xperia Active.
Here the actual facts:
Android 4.1.2,
CyanogenMod: 10-20131006-NGIHTLY-satsuma,
Kernel- Version: 2.6.32.61-MESA-HYBRID-v4.8 (seems to be the only kernel working since I receive a black screen using the kernel delivered in the cm10 Rom from above)
So here the Problem: There is no camera app on the device right now. Installing the Honami- Camera doesn't work either.
Any ideas? I'm pretty new in this Rooting/ Custom- ROM stuff, so please don't kill me if the solution is obvios.
Regards glu

Hey,
me again. Fixed the problem by installing the "Googleeditioncamera" Thought it wasn't working, but I just forgot to reboot. Hope someone can use this information some day.

Hi guys,
I just need your help regarding this problem of mine, I'm using an Xperia Z2 D6503, running on KitKat 4.4.4 also using the SBH52 Bluetooth headset.. the device acts weirdly since I've bought it.. Apps crash randomly but in a chain event, 3 or 4 apps crash at the same time, sometimes it has to be rebooted twice to run everything back to its normal state.. I've tried many several things, repairing the phone through PC Companion, installing 2 different regional firmwares of the 4.4.4, add to this installing the Lollipop Baltic, despite all this, the problem exists.. Recently, I've installed back the 4.4.4.
Now I wonder if this has happened before to any of you? and could any one advise if this is a physical issue.. or just a glitch that could be fixed easily ?
Looking for your support.
Thanks,
Hossam
that is an issue with the Firmware as far as my understanding goes. Happend 2 me 2 wen i 1st got it. but ters a solution, flash a stock based rom wit full wipe. do a clean install. u shud b fyn aftr dat.
initialy, my cam was gone aftr using 4 a while (out of the box). so jus flash stock based rom.
N by flashing i mean- downgrd-root&reco-flash ur desired Stock based rom "or" ur choice if ur BL is unlock.
