Need help: Think I'm bricked - HTC Droid DNA

Well, I do believe my Droid DNA is bricked, soft or hard, I'm not sure because the only thing I can enter is the fastboot menu.
So, I've been trying to run the RUU.exe but it just sits there on the sending screen. Tried a couple of times. Literally waited for hours to see if the RUU would finish but it only finishes when the DNA battery gives out. So, I'm not sure what to do.
I believe it it either one of 3 things (but i could be wrong on all 3 accounts) :
1) Drivers not installed correctly. When running adb reboot fastboot command, it doesn't recognize device. I know that could also mean that the USB Debugging isnt on, but it should be. Can't really go into it to check, but it was on before DNA bricked.
2) Something wrong with the physical phone (software or hardware wise idk) or
3) The Android sdk stuff dled, but i doubt that. I used a DNA tool, not Hasoon2000's tool but another one, and when i tried to do a command, the fastboot.exe stopped respoinding.
Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 : just putting that out there.
Thanks for looking and any help you can offer.

How did you brick your phone? Did your phone ever update to 2.04 or 2.06? The ruu only works on 1.15 or if you can install the eng hboot and downgrade from 2.xx to 1.15 and then ruu will work.

Well problem solved and thanks for all your help.
All I did was change the usb cable and that did it. Sadly, I wish is thought if it sooner.

The exact technicality of switching usb and it effecting the RUU, I'm not sure. Maybe someone else can inform u with that info.
As for the usb, I used a Samsung Brightside 2 usb. Didn't have the DNA one. All I can say is this: Make sure you are on Windows 7 or earlier and try switching usb cables.

Awesome, thanks!
Under PRI mine says 1.12_002,1.83_002
Everything else is the same. I'm running a stock rooted Rom. Trying to get as close to stock as possible without plugging phone into computer. No computer or cable will recognize my phone (new one will be here by Tuesday) so I cant relock or run ruu.

Is there a method to Re-Lock bootloader without computer hookup

Basically, I don't have a working connection between my phone and computer (Cables don't connect for some reason ><) and I am stuck in a boot loop until I can flash the RUU properly. Anyone got any witty advice?
Thanks

[Q] Can i fix this

Here's the thing, i got a refurb yp-g1 and promptly hardbricked it (ex- in car flashing it and it came unplugged, totally my fault for being a idiot.) either way, it now vibrates when you attempt to turn it on, the screen does not turn on and you can hear the speakers running at a very very high pitch if you hold it right next to your ear.
I have a few questions.
How screwed am i?
is this repairable?
Did I damage the boot loader?
Is this fixable via software?
If not will inserting a new main board solve my problems?
Please help
Also if i can fix it with with software i need the image and what ever else would be required.
Depends, if you can still access download mode, please download the package corresponding to your device here.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1531850
If you can't, put it back to download mode, you may need to use either the unbrickable resurrector or a usb jig.

No my computer did not make a connecting noise. I had done my research and knew it was hard bricked because nothing was happening and fit the symptoms of a hard brick. it is now perfectly fixed thanks to the new board. I found out my dad has a jtag tool and hopefully over the summer he is going to help me resurrect my other board, i just would need to find a bootloader. But i would love to hear about the tool you have. Also, if anyone has a bootloader can they pm me with a link to it.
Well, I had done the same thing to my gp4.2. What you can try to do is:
Go into download mode and use odin to flash your stock rooted rom.
If you cant access download mode or if odin is not detecting your device...I'm afraid your going to have to get it repaired
First get your phone into download mode
Then download the pit file from this link
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1389873
Then put the stock rom in the pda box
Make sure repartition is checked
Finally Flash it and hope for the best!!
i have already fixed the device with a new board, it is the old board i want to refurbish.

I'm gonna ask the obvious question here: Are you plugging your phone directly into a USB port i.e. not through a hub? Preferably one in the back of the motherboard. Highly suggest that it be one that was originally meant for your keyboard/mouse. On my motherboard, I find that cell phones work best for adb/fastboot when plugged into a "pink" USB port as opposed to a blue USB3.0 or normal USB2.0
EDIT: Oh, you're on a laptop. I got nothin' then, sorry mate. I'm going to leave my post up just in case some one else wanders in here.

Not fastboot as in the command line interface.
Fast Boot under Power Management inside Android OS--it basically puts the phone into superdeep hibernate mode instead of turning it off when you push the Power Off button.
Oh okay he did say fastboot as in the command interface.

Most likely the usb3 drivers. I think there are some Intel drivers posted somewhere that will work.
